Carter Lake Park

Nice place for the kids to play. All though I would never leave my children alone at the park so, be safe. The world 🌎 is crazy. SUNDAY NIGHT ISN'T A GOOD TIME TO HAVE FAMILY NIGHT AT THE CARTER LAKE PARK. These pictures was taken during the day on a week day.

Carter Lake has a great play area for the kiddos and nice fishing spots as well. We enjoy visiting often.

Nice little park area, the view is nice, lots of people come here to fish. Best times are late evening after sundown and early in the morning before sunrise.

Lots of catfish out there. Had a few bites while we were there fishing, but we were out in the afternoon.

There's a park area nearby that's a great place to take the kids. There's also a parking lot across the street from the shoreline that's a nice place to park to either go for a walk or go fishing.

The lake was AMAZING. It was really hot out, but we found a perfect shady spot under a beautiful tree. Sat out in our chairs and had some cool adult beverages. There was a constant breeze the whole time we were there. We met some nice people and shared some knowledge with them. Happy Juneteenth. ❤🖤💚💛

Beautiful park, with nice lake in the center of the city. But biggest problem is the people are dumping garbage everywhere. Lots of broken glass and empty alcohol bottles

great place to relax,. finding a shaded spot on hot day usually isn't a problem. the park ranger has never made me move off grass from under tree (that's where the shade is) PLZ DONT LITTER! and if you fish PLZ DONT CLEAN FISH ON PICNIC TABLES AND PLZ DESPOSE OF THE REMAINS BACK I THE LAKE NOT IN PARK TRASH BINS.

Early morning, while city mostly asleep. The air was fresh . No car fumes had really filled the air. The atmosphere was still clean. It's a place, even after over 40 yrs ( though too many trees have been let die) It's acalming area.

Was great memories for me but now it's just sad n depressing cause I'm never gonna want to.go there cause it's bad memories now

The kids were on the play ground fighting each other. The women were oddly shaped and rude and the cars were dusty. Had some bomb drinks tho. I'll be back next week.

Loved since i was a kid always feels good coming back home to a park that's family oriented, beautiful, spacious, and enjoyable. Kid or adult always something to do.

Quiet and relaxing... plenty of room to stretch out and loose some time.

Beautiful place.And people trash it. They need to get people that will clean up the park all around it. And get us more trash cans to put the trash in.And more maintenance people that will dump the trash.Charge a rate for being there so people can be more caring about what we have.

Saturday and Sunday it's packed I like this place out all other places in omaha it's peaceful second best to humble park humble is number one Carter lake Saturday and Sunday makes it second the recreational area on Giles and zorinsky are third

Parkwhiz clean I love parking there quiet ain't got all the Ruckus and they could do in a neighborhood not seeing my neighbor is like that but some are I sat there for about a half hour and then I had to go do some errands
