Burnt Ends Barbecue

Food was great, server’s first day, he was exceptional. We ordered the brisket platter, with 2 sides, Mac and cheese and pickled beets, also 1/4lb each of the pork burnt ends and beef burnt ends. Everything was delicious! The corn bread and honey butter was more like dessert, but that was ok with me. Go, go, go and enjoy yourself. The place was empty on a Monday at 330, service was quick.

Open on Mondays! Full service bar with 10 beers on tap (soon to be 12). Event space in-house for 50+ people! Full service catering available!

Great food and great service! Homemade and fresh! Quality foods and brands whether beer, soda, or house made sauces! Pulled pork and chorizo is a favorite! Cornbread with honey butter is great! Mac and cheese is fabulous! Definitely a must try spot!

Food was reasonably priced and tasted great. Inside was very nice and clean. My only complaint would be that the cornbread is served cold/chilled. If it was served hot, it would be so much better. I definitely will be back.

I took my mom here for her birthday.
We'd eaten at their Sabatus Street location before they moved.
Mom liked it, me not so much.
This time at their new location on Center Street in Auburn , I was blown away!
If you can enjoy the barbecue as it comes out of the kitchen, you have a winner!
Mom had a rack of ribs, I had beef burnt ends.
The rack was a generous portion and I can attest they were tender juicy and tasty.
I chose chili for one of my sides. And it was delicious!
It was all delicious!

Absolutely amazing. So fresh and full of flavor. The meats were extremely tender and juicy. They definitely know what they're doing here! On the pricer side compared to other restaurants in town, but you get what you pay for here. Good portions!

Only thing I can say is, I wish the sides were warmer when brought out. I'd rather burn my tongue or wait, than it be on the cooler side.

Coleslaw was extremely fresh & flavorful. The cornbread was out of this world good!! I really really really hope this restaurant thrives in L/A.

Burnt Ends BBQ worked with us for a short notice corporate event last winter; phenomenal communication and such an easy process. We made our first in-person visit to the restaurant yesterday, and will definitely be repeat visitors! Lots of menu options without having too much to overwhelm, great service, presentation, and a clean restaurant. A total gem, and glad to have found them!

Solid authentic BBQ spot for the state of Maine. Brisket had a nice smoke ring and had good flavor. Will definitely be coming back to satisfy my BBQ cravings.

The best barbecue joint around! We always get the pulled pork platter with mac n cheese and coleslaw and it comes with the best cornbread. Mmm we’re never disappointed! Just ordered two pulled pork platters to go 🤌 Definitely try it if you haven’t ever been!!!

Edit a year later: Love the new location on Center St!! Came there today with my husband and toddler. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating to our little one. She loved playing with the corn hole bags and getting all the smiles and waves from staff ❤

This was a great find while in Lewiston. For people that wonder, the smoker is in the back! It is definitely smoked pulled pork, great flavor, no fat in the meat, and super tender. The sauce choices are great. They have Alabama white sauce, Carolina mustard base, a house bbq (sweet/little heat), and spicy (sweet/medium heat). The Mac and cheese is good. There was so much food I took a box home! The cornbread is a mini loaf served with a side of honey butter. The beans and fries were also good. The fries are hand cut style. They have some canned cider choices that are from a local cidery. They also have other drink choices. They have free water or bottled drinks in the cooler. There are lots of menu choices to choose from! Stop in if you are in the area.

My mom and I tried it for the first time. Everything was so good. The chorizo platter was delicious, the Mac and cheese was so yummy. My mom's salad was huge and looked so good.

My husband got a gift card for Burnt Ends BBQ,and we went for a dinner date my husband got the 3meat plate with mac&cheese, and I got a pulled pork sandwich with mac&cheese and coleslaw both of us loved the food staff was very friendly and did a great job.We will definitely be going back soon.

As someone who was born in SC I can say, their sweet tea is just like Grandma's! The food is out of this world too! If you're looking for some incredible barbecue, stop by!

I’ve lived in Texas for the last thirty years. Just moved back to Maine. Fantastic food very much like Good Texas barbecue. I recommend this highly if you want to taste real barbecue

Stumbled upon this gem while out n about in Auburn. It was quick, efficient and the food was outstanding!!! We will definitely be back and we have already told people to check it out!!!

Loved it! True taste of the south. Absolutely delicious, great atmosphere, couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

So we bought the turkey dinner. It made it home safely. Thank God they with hold utensils. Jk. The smoked turkey was perfect. Not over powering yet very flavorful and not dry at all. Nice juicy and tender. The sides we chose was herb stuffing very flavorful garlic mashed potatoes again you could taste the garlic not over powering. All in all worth evey penny!

Don't get the few negative reviews. They must have a flavor impediment. Everything was awesome. Will be back. Ribs are amazing!

Great food! The pulled pork was flavorful and tender as well as the brisket. The sides tasted perfect as well. The service was fast and friendly!

Everything was incredible. Brisket is moist and tender Turkey was perfect. I got a little bit of everything. Ribs too they where great. The staff was super friendly and helpful.
