Lost Valley Brewpub

It is has been a while since we could get back here. It did not disappoint. One of my favorite brew pubs and restaurants. It is so nice this time of year to sit at the base of the ski mountain and enjoy their deck. The shrimp tacos were outstanding, and the specialty pizzas are so good. Being able to stroll the grounds with our dogs - makes it all perfect!!

This ski resort is really a wonderful place. It has runs for all ages and abilities. We have come up here for several years as a family to ski. My kids have taken lessons here and have enjoyed the instructors. The instructors have been patient with them and been eager to help them learn.
The new management works with the local school districts and gives opportunities for kids to come up after school and Ski or snowboard. This really is a terrific combination and our kids look forward to it each and every year.
They have three lifts. You can quite easily access the entire Mountain using any one of these three lifts. You can either ski or snowboard here. There are also special classes for cross-country skiing and they also have an inner tube run.
The accommodations here are convenient in that all of the lessons, rentals, ticket purchases and concessions are all in the same location.
One of the earlier reviews mentioned that the bathrooms are on the lower level. This is true however, it has never been a deal-breaker for us. I figure any bit of exercise I get adds to the exercise I'm getting while skiing or boarding.
The lodge has ample space to relax or eat meals as a family. The tables are quite large and can accommodate a good number of people. They do have a small Cafe and they offer hot foods. The food is decent tasting but a bit on the pricey side. It certainly Works in a pinch.
They do have a full bar here and the crowd gets pretty lively at night.
All in all we really love this mountain resort and will continue to ski here each and every year.

Ski lessons today. Snoguns were plasting snow high in the background all morning. What a friendly, cozy spot. The lines were short. The lessons were great. She had a blast.
After we went in the lodge. Easy rental and return. We also hydrated and nourished at the snack bar. Nothing too exciting to report from the snack bar. Well the cookies looked good but I went for a predsel.

Parking was good. Even the drive in was nice. The scenery is really nice.

A great place to learn with very reasonable rates. The employees seem to be understanding of beginners and I didn’t feel judged when I fell trying to get off the chairlift. The rentals are phenomenal: very fast to get you sized and no shortage of any equipment or sizes.

We visited on the second to last day of the season this year and got a snowboarding lesson all to ourselves. Our instructor was very attentive and friendly. We enjoyed a beer at the onsite brewery before we started...the lodge was very cozy and the staff and people there were so warm and welcoming. Lost Valley is an amazing value and I would highly recommend them for beginner-level ski/snowboarders!

Came from MA and this mountain was worth the far drive. A smaller mountain but it contains tons of trails that are good for all skiers. The trails were well groomed and both lifts were open. The lodge was awesome and even had a brewery pub in the lodge itself that had great food. As an avid skier I highly recommend trying Lost Valley Mountain out.

This place is great. My child is learning to ski. Good vibe. Kind employees. A great place to learn.

Would definitely recommend. We were just in town to get away from the city for a few days. We weren’t very inexperienced skiers, so we took a lesson with Al O. He was patient and beyond what we expected. In just an hour of lessons, we weren’t pros but we could get down a couple slopes, making turns with no falls. We did about 10 runs and could’ve gone all day if our legs weren’t on fire! The resort was intimate with a fire to relax, and drink/eat. We met great people and had a GREAT day. For a nice casual day at the slopes, definitely go! It was an awesome Maine experience.

Lost vally is really awesome great place to learn to snowboard or ski if your just getting into it. The staff are probably the most coolest people I met. Gotta love the burgers they have and drink selection 🤙🤙

Conveniently located. Great little hill for beginners and for some quick runs. Cool bar with good drinks.

Lost Valley has seriously upped their game recently. I went here for dinner to see about the quality of the food and beer with the possibility of holding an event there. It's pub food but it's *real* food - they make their own pizza crust, sauce and their burgers are clearly made by hand. This isn't stuff that's just reheated from a box. The beer was also remarkably good. They have a super team in the kitchen - people that obviously care about the food they're serving.

I decided to go ahead with holding my event there. I contacted them about it and they were super easy to work with. We had a custom menu and they really delivered. Numerous guests complimented me on the quality of the food and service. I was also pleasantly surprised at how inexpensive it was for what I felt I got.

It's also really nice that kids can play and run around outside and the vibe is very casual and relaxed.

Great mountain, great lodge. Stopped in for dinner and enjoyed burgers with hand cut fries that are not to be missed!! Lots of other options for dinner all sound yummy. Excellent selection of beers in tap (local brews), and super friendly staff made it a great night out! Highly recommend.

Best family ski mountain hands down. Awesome trails for all levels of experience. Incredibly friendly staff, no long lines, top of the line rental equipment, and the ski school instructors are PHENOMENAL. After just one private lesson they had my 6 year old skiing so well he was taking the lift and skiing the mountain having a blast. My 4 year old nephew had so much fun in his private lesson, we booked more and in no time he was taking the lift up to the top skiing all over the mountain with his instructor. They have a fun as hell tubing park too, you just ride in your tube while a belt pulls you up to the top rather than other places where you have to lug the tube up. The food in the lodge was awesome, they have live music, a bar, cozy fireplace, an arcade, and a brewery! Can't wait to go back, we LOVE this place. Was really excited to see they're hosting a variety of really cool events in all seasons.

This is a great ski slope. Easy to find well sign posted. Snow is made when required. Also did I mention it's flood lit so late night skiing is available for you.
Lodge is great. Recently remodeled.
The food is fantastic, a great range of food. Great job. Staffed really well so no trouble finding someone to help you.
Ample parking and simple to make the first chair lift from the lodge.

This is the place! Family friendly inviting atmosphere, plenty of activities to keep the kids and adults entertained, good food, FANTASTIC beer, very cool setting. The outdoor patio is killer. The staff is friendly and engaging. Be prepared to stay a couple hours.

If you are looking for a ski resort this is not.your place. If you are looking for a local mountain with some extras then Lost Valley is for you. They have beginner to black diamond level trails, a ski pub, rentals, lessons, and helpful staff. I was overjoyed by the "chill" atmosphere here. This is definitely a mountain for familys beginning their ski journey, but also for college friends getting together for fun and a few beers. Everyone was super patient and helpful from the young woman at the ticket counter when we noticed I purchased Tickets and rental gear for different days! To the rental workers who made sure we had everything we needed. But I think I was most impressed by the ski lift operators. My son wiped out just before getting on the lift and then the next time he he somehow.missed the lift and was hanging ( like 2 inches off the ground), but they handled everything with patience, grace and kindness.it was a wonderful experience and I hope.to.go back soon.

This was our first snow activity ever. We went tubing. The staff was awesome. My 5 yr old loved it so much that she wasn't waiting on the rest of us. The staff helped her and made sure she was safe while Mom and Dad rushed to keep up!

The tube park was awesome. Great place to take your kids to have a blast.

It is an amazing place!! My friend and I went snow tubing a few days ago. The guys were nice and they were overall fun and funny. I recommend this place to a lot of people. And I promised one of the guys a review. Sooo here u go. And I got to get him pour a shovel of snow on my friend. He missed and she laughed. I love this place and keep it like it is and it will be the perfect place!!!!!

I have had wonderful ski days for the past 10 years at Lost Valley. Small lines for the lifts. Friendly and knowledgeable rental ski staff. Good care and maintenance of the slopes. I love the food in the lodge. Great variety of ski terrain. Comfortable and fast enough chair lifts. Really nice views from the lifts and on the slopes. Lots of history and atmosphere in the lodge. High quality ski experience for families.
