One of my favorite spots in the state! It's always a clean trail with plenty of spots for a beautiful photo of the mountains. It's a short hike to Kinsman Falls from The Basin, only about half a mile, & absolutely worth it!

Love it so much. If it wasn’t winter, we would have 100000% swam in the waters. The hike was short and the falls were stunning. There is even a handicapped path which great too!

Very pretty falls, and decently accessible. A mile of easy walking uphill. This place is a lot less crowded than the basin, owing to being a little further of the beaten track.
There is a plethora of gorgeous pictures to be taken here. A photographer's paradise.

I've been to the Basin many times but a friend just introduced me to this trail there. It was a wonderful hike and more challenging than the surrounding trails. I totally enjoyed it.

Take your time coming up the trail, and down by the waterfall here. Outstanding on all accounts. Trail goes up and hugs the river which at this point is just a series of slides.

Beautiful trails. If you are passing by, this place is a must. Follow the basin trail for the best views

Beautiful little waterfall, specially during the autumn because you can find it surrounded by warm colors. Kinsman Falls is about 20 feet tall and remarkably narrow. It takes a half-mile hike along the Basin Cascade Trail to reach, which weeds out some of the crowds that swarm the Franconia Notch Valley. Arrive early, especially during the fall season, if you don't want to deal with a crowded parking lot.

One of the prettiest hiles I’ve even done. Even as a lifelong hiker this took my breath away at ever turn. Water falls the whole way up. A must do in the White MTN range.

10-15 mins hike. There wasn’t a crowd of people at the time when we were there which was very nice. Enjoyed peaceful and relaxing vibe

Great waterfall that doesn’t take much effort to get to. Perfect for kids. The trail can be steep at times and is rocky so keep that in mind. With that said, it doesn’t take long to et to kinsman falls, maybe .5 miles from The Basin.

I stop here almost every time I am in the area. Start your hike at The Basin (exit right off 93) and take the Basin Cascade Trail to Kinsman falls. You will see many small cascades and waterfalls on the way to Kinsman falls. You can continue up the trail further to Rocky GLENN Falls if your feeling up to it.

There are a few other short hikes in the area that are worth it. It’s easy to spend a whole day exploring the area.

Great short hike, my two girls aged 11 and 9 also did it and loved it, much better tham the basin in my opinion. Some of it a little steep with lots of tree roots, but highly enjoyable.

Great little hiking spot in the mountains. Tons of river and waterfalls to see. Couldn't believe how beautiful it is and the fact that I'm not far and have never been. Definitely a must see if your are in the area

Worth a stop, locals love this place and we plan on coming back to hike further up the trail to find swimming spots.
