Pavilion Café

It's a very nice little cafe practically hidden among modern sculptures. Seating is somewhat limited inside, but terrace seating is a great choice on a nice weather day.
I enjoyed my Southwest BBQ Chicken Flatbread very much. It was very tasty. I even received a favorable comment from a passerby as I sought my seat under an umbrella outside. My wife had a vegetable and cheese quiche. It was also a very tasty dish, and it came with a fruit cup as a side. We concluded that this Cafe provides decent food. Prices are not too bad considering this location in the National Mall (you'll spend more money at food trucks, and food is much better here).
When you might need some respite from all your visits to various museums, this place fits your bill. Highly recommended!

It was the only place open near the museums that is not a food truck. The meal is box salads and sandwiches. Very good large size. Also, carbonated drinks and beer. Indoor and outside seating. Nice fountains with modern art right by it and lots of concrete seats around the water to eat your food. It closes at 4 pm and opens at 11 am. Love the structure of the building and no masks needed.

The food was very good and price wise, It was also very reasonable. The restaurant had a very nice clear view to some of the sculptures outside. Or you can eat outside. The food itself is a little deceiving. It looks like it’s going to be just pretty basic, but it’s was actually very flavorful.

Cute stop around many sites for a quick lunch. Food was good for a fair price. Many vegetarian options available!

Really great food! There was a long wait during rush hour on a weekend but it is normal. I highly recommend the Chicken Flatbread, it was amazing!
Outside it was really hot, but the view was great. You can also sit inside the restaurant. I am probably in the background of some peoples photos while they were taking pics of that tree lol

This was a great place to rest and re-energize after a busy walking day in DC. The coffee was delicious and the atmosphere and views were amazing. The location is phenomenal and super convenient regardless of what you're viewing in DC.

The Hawaiian Chicken Club was delicious, it was cheap and it was healthy. The club comes accompanied either by chips or a salad and I'm glad I chose the salad, it really blends perfectly with the flavors of the sandwich. I really loved this breakfast. It was just what my body needed for a tour around the city.

The Pavilion Café is located at the National Gallery of Art Sculpture Garden.

A great place to have lunch or a cup of coffee and snack and look out at the sculpture garden and skating rink in the winter or fountain in the summer.

Clean, swift service, friendly staff, restrooms available and the food isn't bad. Prices are not that bad either. So a good place to stop, enjoy lunch, and enjoy the view.

Very good, light food for a great day! Also great prices. I like that they added water cups to our meal without us asking, it was a nice touch.

Unfortunately I didn’t eat here, but I thought the prices were reasonable, there were public restrooms, the Cafe looked clean and nice, and there was plenty of seating.

Loved this!! Such a cute place and tucked into the sculpture garden. We had lunch here and it was a nice rest before we continued on our tour of the mall and museums. I had been dying for some Espresso and this Cafe delivered. Also couldn't recommend more for anyone to try the lemon tarragon chicken salad sandwich.

Great place to relax between museums. Food/price is okay and the place is really clean with a/c and lots of tables.

We were surprised by how good the food was. We got the Lemon-tarragon chicken salad sandwich and the spinach and mushroom quiche. Both were tasty. The staff was courteous and helpful. Beautiful to sit outside.

Easy way to get lunch in an atmosphere that was as least cooler than outside. Food was good for what we expected. Cold drinks. Very nice people behind the counters.

We really enjoyed our sandwiches, smoked turkey and bacon and the Pavillion grill cheese. The staff were super nice! The red velvet cake was amazing.

Lovely cafe at an awesome location!! Food and drinks were really good !
Added chicken to the summer salad and that was awesome aswell!
Overall we did get lucky to stumble on this one !!
