Brought in 200 pieces of mail to send out - Bahr and Yaminah couldn’t have been nicer! Were very swift - friendly - and professional!

Went here today to get a passport. I was there for maybe 30 mins between filling out paperwork & taking my picture. Such a easy process. The two ladies working there were very helpful. They were also friendly & I am very satisfied with today's process. Thank you!

One of the best post offices I have ever used. The employees are friendly, courteous and respectful. Coming from Brooklyn (many years ago), where it felt like the post offices are entrances to hell and the employees just down right nasty to customers, it is a pleasant surprise that there are actual USPS locations with nice employees. I guess I had to move to CT to experience the difference.

I am very happy with services provided here. Eva went above and beyond of what was required and that with a smiling face as well.

I came here after being disappointed with the stratford location for passport services. Eva greeted each and every person that entered the door with a smile. She also asked what we needed and set the expectation of time and what we needed. She did checked all the application and made copies of documents that needed. Clearly she knows what she's doing. She even asked when we needed the passport by and gave us information about expedited shipping. She also shared how to track the passports online. Great customer experience and I will definitely be back.

I never have a problem here. Got my passport here recently as well as 2 family members. No trouble at all.

Can be slow but that's usually more a function of the process and customer than the employees.

Extremely busy. I guess because Derby is extremely rude.

You should be very proud of yourselves for stealing a gift card that was in a Christmas card. The card showed up on the informed mail delivery email but never arrived at our house. It was dropped off at the post office to prevent theft, never realizing we had to protect ourselves from you. The card has been used so I hope you enjoyed the gift card.

Incorrectly processing passports

Came here in 2018 to apply for my passport. Had no issues and was a smooth process. Came back Feb 2019 to apply for my daughter's passport. I already made all the necessary copies of required documents. Eva the worker behind the counter was processing the application for my daughter. She checked over the documents and copies. She gave me back the photo copy of the absent parent form which was a necessary document. She also kept my passport. Gave all documents to Joe who processed my payment. He clipped my actual passport to my daughter's application. When I questioned him about it he told me it was fine and that the passport agency would mail back all documents separately. Cut to 6 weeks later I received an email from the passport agency that they needed the photo ID of the father, which I gave to Eva and she gave back to me. This delayed getting my daughter's passport. After sending in that document the passport was finally approved and I received it for my daughter. Two weeks later her birthday certificate came in the mail. I waited a little long but my passport never made it back to me. So I contacted the passport agency and after their review they told me they never received my passport. So I called the post office and actually spoke to Eva, the worker that received my daughter's application. When I explained the situation she stated she remembered me but denied taking my actual passport. Then changed her story to, Joe kept my passport in error and should have gave it back to me. Eva stated she would look around the post office for me to see if she found it. I physically went to the post office to speak with her face to face and she told me she didn't locate my passport. I explained what the passport agency told me, that they never receive my passport. So what's next? Was my question. She proceeded to tell me I would have to pay for another passport and I told her no I'm not. I contacted the passport agency and explained the situation to them and they also asked me to send it in writing. Thank goodness they were a great help to me and reissued a replacement passport at no cost to me. This post office was of no help when this was their fault. They never took responsiblity or followed up with me to see what the outcome was. Beware of applying for your passport here. I found out from my sister who applied for my nephew's passport two weeks before me that they kept her passport as well. But she received her passport back from the post office not too long after.
