El tequila mexican restaurant

We got take out on March 20, and came for drinks on March 27. Sadly I didn’t get photos of our take out meals, but they were excellent! I got the Tequila Bowl with grilled chicken. It was enough for two meals, and so fresh and delicious! My husband got the Burrito Supremo with beef. It was enormous! He loved it. The beef was thinly sliced, not ground. We will definitely be back to dine in. **great margarita specials on Mondays $5!!

We came here for lunch today and it exceeded my expectations! Our waiter immediately brought us warm chips and salsa. The salsa was so fresh and delicious. We order the fajita nachos with steak and lunch special #3 which had an enchilada, refried beans and rice. Our food came to us in about 10 minutes on warmed plates. The nachos were to die for and had real cheese sauce on them. Everything was cooked perfectly and even the rice and beans had great flavor.

Spending most of my life in south western Texas, I've had some really fantastic Mexican food. If you're looking for a 5 star Mexican cuisine, then why are you eating in Gilford NH? With that being said, this place was still pretty good. It was clean, staff was attentive and the food was actually pretty good. Chicken was not dry or over cooked, rice was not greasy like most places, margaritas were pretty well balanced and the food that was supposed to be hot was hot and the food that was supposed to be cold was cold. Far from the best place around, but still one of the better joints I've been to in New England. Hard to believe it's in a Walmart plaza. Will absolutely be coming back very soon!

Yummy food huge and huge portions!! 10/10 recommend!

Went here for the first time a few weeks ago with my bf after a long day working outside.
Looking from the outside, I didn’t know what to expect, you can’t really see inside to get an idea of what you’re in for, until you are inside.
Inside is a lot bigger than we thought! And the atmosphere is so cool, and we loved the benches, the chairs, the whole look was pretty neat! Staff was super friendly. Complimentary chips and salsa 💃 were on point.
My bf got the taco salad and raved about it, he mentioned how it was the first one in a long time that he had one and it wasn’t greasy and was actually crunchy and flavorful. I had the chicken spinach burrito and it was so big I had to take half home! It was amazing. Definitely recommend this new joint. Don’t let the outside look deter you!

Food is amazing. Drinks are, decent. Pretty sure they're batch made so tbh could be better. The service isn't terrible. I enjoy coming here. Absolutely get the rice. It's the best around!

We were there early in the week at around 5:30pm. The atmosphere was nice. There were about 6 other customers. Our server was attentive, our us drinks, took our order in a timely manner. The food was quite good. We will be back

The El Diablo burrito was terrific. Got take out for lunch while I was working. Good sauces, perfect chips. Place looked super clean and the decor was very vibrant. Check it out! I'll be back

Awesome food and margaritas! Fish tacos were amazing, unique preparation but very tasty. My boyfriend had the mixed fajitas and the seasoning was great and the vegetables were cooked perfectly.

Very elegant restaurant and also the meals are ready within minutes of arriving. For DoorDash.

I'm so happy this little gem took over the old Chinese place. The atmosphere is great, the food is absolutely delicious, the staff is friendly and the prices are extremely reasonable. Keep up the good work!

Stoped here while on vacation, the food was delicious, the prices were good, service was fast and so was the food. I would go back if I didn't live so far away.

Had a really good meal here. Margaritas were huge! Food was good and cake out very quickly. Looked like alot of take out orders too so must be a solid menu. Perfect place to stop before shopping at Walmart right next door

CARNE..ASADA..TACOS! I'm sure everything else is good but I wouldn't know because I can't get enough of the same dish! This place isnt well known yet, but it will be very soon. Very authentic flavors and atmosphere. My new favorite hidden gem!

We went there Sunday around 5.40 pm and it was very slow,so no waiting to be seated. I'm so glad to have come here. I moved here from Utah and haven't really found a place I would say I really liked and would continue to come back to but this is definitely it....the food is totally amazing...I mean it is just really good. The restaurant itself is so fun,the way it is decorated with a lot of love,you can tell and it carries over to the food...the portion size is plenty ,you won't leave hungry ...We really enjoyed El tequila and will be back soon and highly recommend that whoever reads this might go check them out and give it a try ...

I’ve ordered take out today and I was pleasantly surprised to find fresh chips and salsa added to my bag for free. Delicious food and pretty big portions, friendly staff and the place was so nicely decorated. Festive, cozy and friendly atmosphere. I would definitely go back again to dine in there with my family. Thumbs up!

Wonderful experience, very friendly staff. I'm learning Spanish and they indulged me. They have tamales very hard to find in a Mexican restaurant. Great atmosphere. I'll definitely return.

The food was excellent, the house margaritas were awesome and the decor was beautiful. Waiter was very accommodating, restaurant was very clean. Spread the word this isn't your regular Mexican restaurant.

We've been here a few times for lunch and dinner. Always fresh and delicious. Excellent food and service. We love this restaurant. Highly recommend this great place. It looks small from the outside but it's spacious, clean and beautifully decorated with comfortable booths and larger tables and a beautiful bar area. Prices are very reasonable and portions are generous.
