The Island Fudge Shoppe

The Island Fudge Shoppe is a nice small shop that specializes in fudge and various candies. The staff were all very friendly in our visit and the owner was there encouraging the staff to care for the customers. For this reason alone I am giving a five star review as it is always nice to see a store owned caring for his employees and his customers.

Overall the fudge options provide alot of variations and if you are a fan of fudge it will definitely hit the spot. They have coupons available in the Coligney Plaza book that you can use to get some free fudge if you buy a specific quantity. Check it out if you are in the mood for some fudge. Enjoy!

A must stop when in Hilton Head… we rely on the sweet fudgy goodness to give us the extra energy we need to get everything we can out of our vacation on the island.

The best fudge shop ever. I got the Chocolate Raspberry, it was smooth and creamy and sweet and just down right good.Plus I got Taffy in all different flavors make sure to try the blueberry and the smores and the birthday cake they also have birthday cake fudge.my little cousin loves it and his mom loved the chocolate peanut butter. They also have it in sugar free so that was a plus. This shop is a must you have to try it...

Summer of 2021 we visited Hilton Head. While strolling the shopping mall I found this fudge shop. The best fudge that we have ever had. So delicious that I ordered fudge each Christmas since then.and had it shipped to me. . I also tried fudge from Savannah but not as good.

Love this place! It has the best fudge and the pralines are to die for! I went during November and they have Christmas Cake fudge. My boyfriend tried it and explained”it taste like Christmas morning”! It really does it’s so yummy. We also got the plain ol chocolate fudge. It’s perfect. I’ve tried other fudge places on the island and this is by far my favorite!

Excellent truffles & fudge. My wife & I visited twice during our stay on the island. We started with a box of assorted truffles, then came back for a pound of fudge. Words can't describe how mouth watering good all of it was!

Loved it. Obviously there is sugar in all fudge and chocolate, but most places overdo it. The Island Fusge Shop has the right blend! Definitely go!

Great little homemade candy store on Hilton Head Island. The fudge, chocolates and taffy were very good but my favorite was the fresh pecan pralines. Best I have ever had anywhere in the south. Will be ordering more when I finish what I recently purchased at the store. Trust me, you will be glad you sampled the goods!

Love this candy shop. We have been the past 2 days because we love everything they have to offer. The variety of chocolates, taffy and fudge are great. Everything is fresh and the staff is friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

The staff is so friendly and they always have samples of the fudge. The fudge is amazing!!

I recently visited here to get some treats to bring to someone as a gift. Of course, I tried some myself too. Everything was delicious! I also put the treats together in a tin with artwork from a local artist. The owners boxed everything up and added a bow. It gave it a nice presentation.

I have been coming to HHI for over 20 years, and I always stop at the Fudge Shoppe in Coligny before heading home. The fudge is delicious and there are many different kinds you can choose from. There are also other types of candy like malted milk balls, chocolate covered raisins, and just plain chocolate, if you don't want fudge. The prices are very reasonable and the staff are very friendly and attentive.

The pralines are the best on the island, hands down, but it is difficult to maneuver inside the store in an acceptable social-distance of 6 feet with more than one customer, based on its interior size and shape. We simply waited outside and bought extra bags instead!

We wanted something to represent Hilton Head Island, since we had so many friends and family from across the country. Luckily, The Island Fudge Shoppe had the perfect options - we gave everyone the pralines, turtles, and toffee. It was a big hit!

Island Fudge Shoppe is an institution on Hilton Head. All of the fudge and many other sweet products are hand made (and I mean really hand made, a few at a time) by the long time owner/operators. It's a real family operation. If you're lucky you'll show up right when they have the big kettle going and you can watch the fudge being made. They always have free samples (see picture) and everything is awesome. Beside offering unique Hilton Head products, they create seasonal specialties as well - Christmas, Valentines, Halloween, and so on. Swing by Coligny Plaza and check out this cool little shop. And if you can't come in person, you can always order from their web site. This is one of my favorite places on Hilton Head.
