Art Cafe

A fun way to spend an hour or two! We walked in and they were able to accommodate our group of 5. In the future I would make a reservation but none of us had painted pottery before and didn't know/think to make a reservation. There were so many pieces to choose from!! We had fun painting and chatting and it only took a few days for our pieces to be completed. I will definitely go back!

Great place to relax, enjoy some family time, and get your art on! Yes, they can deliver your creation to your home address.

$8 studio fee per painter + the cost of the piece you select. Painted Monday, picking up Thursday (during June). Didn’t make an appointment but didn’t have to wait. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean, well organized studio.

Came here for Mother's day 2022 with my husband and 2 boys and man did we have a blast!! My husband and I painted 1 item a piece but our boys loved it so much, they painted 2 pieces each! Great fun family atmosphere! There is something for everyone in the family to paint! Can't wait to come back!

Second time going and it was just as fun as the first! Decent selection of pieces to choose from and you don't feel any rush to finish them either

My children absolutely adore this place! The shop is clean, well organized and so cute. I bring my kids here to make gifts for their teachers & relatives. I also bring my out of town guest families to make HHI souvenirs. The staff is so happy & helpful. Great fun for all!

Our family has been going to the Art Cafe for nearly twelve years now and we have yet to be disappointed by the great experience and wonderful customer service! We just returned from a visit to Hilton Head where we went to the Art Cafe again. They had two back to back birthday parties so we asked if we could paint on their balcony. They told us the balcony was in use for the party and the other was their staff balcony but would be glad to set it up for our use. They were very helpful, made sure we had everything we needed, and never forgot about us among the busy schedule of parties filling the store. I would highly recommend the Art Cafe for children and adults alike that are seeking a fun day indoors.

This place right rocks! Visitors should pay better attention to how to pick up their pottery. What’s the big deal? It can always be shipped!! The staff is friendly and the studio is adorable. So glad I actually live here and can frequent the art cafe all year long.

This is a fun place that we look forward to going to every vacation. The ladies working here are very helpful and knowledgeable and will take care of anything you have need of. The firing time takes a couple of days so you may want to go early on in your vacation so that your items do not need to be shipped.

I come to Hilton Head Island almost every Summer and go to The Art Cafe to paint something. The people that work here are awesome! Very friendly service and painting is fun. Had a great conversation with the girls that worked there yesterday.

The kids and I all had a ball! Lovely, fun staff, big variety of pieces from which to choose and a great environment to work in with music playing. Also, Covid safety is well observed. Highly recommended!

A GREAT place to take your kids while on vacation or just let them relax and do their own thing. So many choices of good pottery to paint and cherish at home. My grandson was visiting and noticed the ad in a local magazine and asked if we could go there. Of course, any good grandpa would do the same and go. He picked a plate with an starfish on it as well as a cup to paint. They came out as awesome works of art ( Don't forget I'm a Grandpa saying this). By the way, all the pottery is both dishwasher safe and can be eaten on. It was a wonderful afternoon. YOU CAN"T GO WRONG WITH THIS ACTIVITY.
