Buffalo Harbor State Park

This gorgeous park conveniently located with ample parking space right outside of downtown Buffalo boasts long walkways lakeside that is ideal for sunset views/walks. There are numerous benches and picnic tables available. There are water fountains are human and dog level. I highly recommend this for date night or a dog walk.

Seems like every time we stop by for a walk by the water or picnic lunch, something new is being added all throughout the water front! Spring is here so chairs, picnic tables and playground are all out and ready for the season. I believe the restroom where we park seemed open. Easy access to beach area, boats, wind surfing are all there and ready! Enjoyable and convenient. Bikes a long paths to rent are a nice addition! Very clean and peaceful!

Stunning sunsets! It is a wonderful place to go for a walk, rollerblading, or biking. There is also an awesome skate park!

Kids enjoyed the playground. Views on the water are nice.

This park has some great views of the city and the wind turbines of Bethlehem - great walking, running, biking and skating on the shared pathways up and down the outer harbour but the views out across the lake are amazing and the sunsets can be breathtaking!

It was pleasant when I went , not many people were present due to the stormy weather....

Pretty darn nice park. I was impressed with the recently updated boat launch that although a little congested flowed very well. When we were recovering and loading it was very busy for a Buffalo Bill's flotilla. They had a park ranger there making sure things didn't get out of control. The docks are long and I think 4 ramps. Plenty of parking for trucks and trailers. After haul out they had the guy that inspects boats for invasive species and a couple garden hoses to rinse off. There was a garbage can and 4 portajohns. It did cost $8 to enter that area. I noticed plenty of walking trails and some beautiful metal art and shelters. In the harbor there are a couple of WWII Navy ships you can tour and I'm sure much more. We fished for 6 hours and did pretty well. The Buffalo skyline is also nice to look at and the Peace Bridge is also right there. I will have to go back and do some more exploration of the area.

if you remember the 80s and 90s, there was absolutely nothing to do on our waterfront except boating. well It's been a long wait, but our waterfront is looking awesome. there is so much to do now, boating, swimming, long walks up and down the boardwalk, play areas, and an old-fashioned carousel that's only $1 to ride. Military and naval museum. a park that's being renovated into the Ralph C. Wilson Park. like I said, it's been a long wait , but Buffalo is coming back, and she looks beautiful. Hope you have some good times, great laughs, and a lot of cherished memories.

Beautiful and so relaxing and the people were amazing

My Wife & I bicycles thru this area. Nice ride & a lot to see. You must come & see for Yourself. Great exercise too. There are restrooms, see people walking Their Dogs & some Dogs taking a Swim too. See the Boaters & fisher prople..

Really nice harbor, went on a river cruise with friends there. Clean and cost seemed reasonable able for the season. Lots of nice boats to see.

This park is clean, wide open, and super safe. It's got a bathroom that was fairly clean and drinking fountain for non covid times. It's also right on the water which made for a beautiful backdrop.

We haven't been in the area too long but we've been here about four times already and will be back again.

The park is very nice! I would like to add to any parents seeing this, please tell your 14+ year olds to move around when the littles come to play, like come on now 😥.

Went a a fishing Charter with Capt.Dave Adrian of Aquatech Charters on beautiful Lake Erie . Area around dock was clean and parking was abundant..Even if not boating great to walk around and about .

My family loves it here, if it is busy and you just keep to yourself, no one really bothers you, maybe a hello or two, always a good time.

We only saw the marina area but it was beautiful and fun and cannot wind to explore more.

A historic gem in Buffalo! A beautiful park with a playground, walking and bike trails, and great water scenery! A nice skateboard area and even an area for RC Cars!

This park has been one of my longtime favorite. It's an ideal place to visit, be it for a stroll, family picnics/BBQ or simply just enjoying the view.

Biking and walking

The park has a really long trail with dedicated bike lane that stretches from one end to the other, making it perfect for biking, jogging and walking your dog. There's also free waste pick-up bags throughout the walkway.

Doing BBQ

The designated barbecue place is located on the left side of the parking lot when entering. There are two sheds with barbecue grills, a water tap and tables. There's a kid's playground right next to it so you can do the grilling while your kids play.

Boating

One of the many things this place is known for is, is boating. So if you've got a boat, then this is the place.

I think I covered pretty much everything.

Best place but only thing is bothering is mosquito alot of them every where and some people bring their dogs without ropes
