St Johnsville Municipal Marina

Small campground on the bank of the Mohawk River adjacent to a marina. Average size campsites with 50amp full hookups. Gravel roads with grass pads, clean and well maintained. Blocks from town and the surrounding area is beautiful farmland.
The campground host (Tina) is friendly and helpful. If you like off the beaten path, small town atmosphere with no crowds and traffic, this is your kind of place. We would return here.

Stayed here for one night in our rv. Great little campground on the historic Erie canal. Harbor Master Joe was welcoming and easy to work with. Campground was well maintained and bathrooms were newly updated, clean and handicap accessible. Trains run by but my son enjoyed the show Diner in town is a nice stop for breakfast. Would definitely stay here again.

We stopped here on our Great Loop adventure; Tina went above and beyond to help us in any way we needed. It was very much appreciated! Full amenities yet super peaceful. Will definitely stop again if we are back in the area. Thank you for everything Tina! God Bless

M/V God’s Grace

Stayed one night in a pull-through RV site. Full hookups with 50A, clean, level, gravel sites. Eateries and groceries that take phone orders and make deliveries.
Harbor Master, Joe, was very accomodating and helpful.

Nice, big pull-through sies on the bank of the Erie Canal. We saw a couple big sailboats glide by, which was fun. Great place for a few nights. Train tracks are on one side of the campground, but the trains didn't bother us.

We camped in our RV at the St. Johnsonville Marina Campground. It is a great campground offering RV full hookup sites, mature shade trees, and a very clean private bathhouse. The campground is next to the Mohawk River. The manager, Tina is a great host!
We camped here to bicycle a beautiful segment of the Erie Canal Trail located just across the bridge.

This was a great stop while we were looping through the Erie Canal. Super quiet, nice bathhouse and laundry. Nothing fancy but very friendly and adequate.

We stayed one night on the way to Vermont. Beautiful spot on the river. Highly recommend. Joe the Harbormaster is a real asset to the marina and campground and the community!

great venue for the 5k/10k races ! lots of parking. 🚻 restrooms, showers even ! great course. right on the river ! wish all courses were this nice. towpath race itself was great experience. perfectly set-up & executed !

Helpful marina staff, thank you Grace and Kathy, in meeting and docking us. Easy parallel docking for large boats with easy access to electricity, water, and fuel. New bathrooms and laundry facilities which were extremely clean. Quiet marina with exception of minor train noise. Local grocery store has FREE delivery of grocery purchases. Excellent cafe just over bridge in town. Highly recommend this marina. We’ll be back.

I love fishing here. You can catch monster crawdaddies for bait right there.

Dock Master Joe is fantastic! Very helpful, cheerful and knowledgeable. Close to Stewart's (ice cream) and Monte's Grab N Go (sandwiches.) Even the trains are quiet there.

Three AARP couples cycling the Erie Canal Towpath. We stayed here for a night. It was clean. There were nice HOT showers and the harbormistress guided us to nearby medical supplies for a minor injury. We were offered a ride by several people. We enjoyed a small pavilion during a shower and were able to hose down our bikes and re-assemble our gear. Very nice night.

Great place to go and relax. Well kept facilities and grounds. Had a great time at the Elvis Show last night. Very entertaining and free (sponsored by the local library). Can't post enough positive comments.

Nice ramp providing access to that part of the Mohawk river. We use it extensively during the waterfowl season. Negative, the town pushes snow down the ramp making it unlaubchable after a snow storm.

The McQuaid Jesuit crew team from Rochester NY stayed in St Johnsville Marina for 2 nights during their annual Row For Hope down the Erie Canal to raise money for the American cancer society. Marcel was welcoming and helped to make our stay comfortable. This is a clean and beautiful Marina. Future Teams will stay here as well! Thank you Marcel!

Relaxing and beautiful views! Great venue for the summer concerts they hold here-and the local talent is amazing too!

Very attractive small marina with a big heart. Marcel, the dockmaster, is truly welcoming and expert at running this marina. Great stopover or summer base.

They are the friendliest nicest people. Everything kept up well. Met great residents that summer there.

Beautiful and clean, lots of picnic tables a gazebo and ideal place to have a picnic 😊
