The South Fork Malt Shoppe

Absolutely love this place!! AMAZING food and the service is out of this world!! All the girls are so sweet, friendly and always smiling…highly recommend, definitely a must try if you love great food…Look at my pretty French Dip!!

Unfortunately, they no longer have vegetarian options or the variety of burgers that were posted. The gluten free option was a burger with no bun. The food was good and the fries had some good seasoning although there was maybe too much seasoning on the fries. The malts were good. Nice outdoor seating. Parking available for large vehicles.

Food smelled good from down the street so we pulled in and were very happy. I love malts and these are top notch and burgers are burgers and tasty

Came to South Fork this week for work and stopped in for breakfast. I had to get the pancake taco which was gigantic and perfect for my growling tummy. A huge fluffy pancake filled with sausage, eggs cheese and bacon, lots of butter and syrup on the side. I’m a good sized dude and this was even a large portion for me..at $6 this was an awesome price. I’ll be back for dinner!!

The staff is absolutely friendly and fabulous! As a local this place does beat out the newer competition in the town. the owners are kind and fun to talk to. The food, like the Wheezie burger is 100% original, I've never had anything like it even in Denver. this place is a regular stop for our little family and friends. I will always be recommending The Malt Shoppe to my guests both at work and friends.

This was by far the best green chili burger I've ever had. We got the basket meals and the servings were huge and so tasty. Great service and delicious meal. Highly recommend.

Great destination for a quick day ride. Awesome food, great service and you meet other good people from the road.

This is absolutely the best place to eat in town. There are other burger places in town but none compare to the Malt Shop!

Stopped by to have burgers. They were as good as we remember from when we were here 10 years ago! Nugget loved the root beer! Lol

Best pizza around and the pricing is affordable. Highly recommended.

Totally random stop for us on a drive from Co. Springs to Durango....but it was a hot July day and we *needed* some ice cream to keep us going on our trip.

This is a perfect example of one of those little small town ice cream joints. Primarily soft-serve focused....they have food too, but we just did ice cream. Cups with toppings, and shakes. All tasted really good and fresh. They weren't super busy, and have a nice area to sit outside in the shade. Public bathrooms a 2 minute walk across the lot at a local park.

Very happy we stopped for a treat! Thanks y'all!

Good place to go and eat

We own a house in South Fork, and every time we come during the peak season when they’re open we have to go get one of their Green Chili Bacon Cheeseburgers! They are so yummy and the fries are delicious too! So worth trying!

Stopped in Southfork for the night and was recommended the malt shop it doesn't disappoint. Unlike other reviews the staff were kind and attentive and the blue cheese bacon burger was perfectly done and the buns were fresh!

It is worth the trip to South Fork just to get a burger at the Malt shop. The french fries were amazing. The only rings were the best I have ever had. The milk shake did not disappoint.

Family stopped for lunch before heading home from a wonderful vacation. Gotta say great food, great prices, and wonderful staff!! I ordered a Kraut dog and fries, and before I knew it the young gal was returning from the local grocery store with a jar of sour kraut. Instead of telling me "sorry we are out of kraut today." Now that, is great service!! I recommend that if you are in the South Fork Co area it is a must to stop at The Malt Shoppe for your lunch or dinner needs!! You won't regret it!! Thanks!! Besides the malts and shakes a a great cool down dessert!!

BEST PLACE EVER! I stop every time I am in south fork! Best Ice Cream best food and Great People I love this place I always tip! However Should be open longer then 3pm on Sunday us Tourists Want Ice cream and food when we are heading home come on man!
