The young lady at the counter was very helpful. They have a wonderful selection of music for all instruments, and if they don't have what you're looking for they'll order it for you or tell you where it can be obtained.
I always recommend Baums to family members and friends!

Always super helpfull and knowledgeable. Helped multiple times over the last few years with my sons band instruments ans equipment.

I'm a professional touring musician and play Tenor Sax. I brought my P Mauriat horn into Baum's for a playing condition repair (needed new corks felts and some adjustments) Miles took great care of me and my horn. In the matter of a few hours he dialed in my horn and it sounded great! That evening I noticed one key wasn't sealing just right and I brought it back first thing the next morning and he made a quick adjustment that made a world of difference.

Came in for a restring of my acoustic guitar. I ask the gentleman if “they restring guitars?” then this man came out of the back room and says “I’ll do it.” His name is Frank he said. I told him my issues, like I tried restringing myself guitar myself and I broke three of the strings. He laughed and said he’ll take a look at it and it’ll be about an hour. So I left and did some other errands. He gives me a call about 15-20 minutes later that the guitar was ready.

I arrive back, he showed me what he has done. Oh my gosh, he tuned up the neck of the guitar, the new strings he recommended look and sound beautiful. Chatted with him for a little bit, absolutely friendly man, he definitely cares about the instrument.

I drive home, I take the guitar out of my case.
Oh my gosh, the guitar sounds like i’m at a concert hall, it’s the most beautiful sounding guitar now. I’m amazed, I honestly can’t believe it.

Awful service. Young lady at the counter was rude and unhelpful and treated me as if I had no knowledge of musical instruments and their mechanics . Was rude on the phone too I won't even buy valve oil there .

Update , I took my Horn to get fixed a couple of months back and the gentleman that helped me was very knowledgeable and courteous, as well as the young lady whom I wrote the badd review on was very nice and helpful also . We all have our bad days so I forgive the young lady and ask that she forgive me and my bad review and get on with moving forward. I received my Horn the date they told me it would be done and they did an outstanding job. Keep up the good work!!!

Had the best experience! Went home with a guitar case that wasn’t the right fit and had a slight imperfection. Went back and the guy gave us the right one and just swapped the first case out for the right one. So friendly and helpful!

Such a great place to get all of my kids needs for band. The folks here are very informative and helpful. My kid is a drummer and they had some really neat materials where my kid can follow along with sheet music to a CD that focuses on different aspects to some fun cool songs. Really love this place :)

Great music shop with a nice selection and incredible customer service. I live out of town and needed a particular book. They gladly set it aside for me and held it until the weekend when I was able to make the trip to get it. I bought a Vito Tenor Saxophone here about 13 years ago and hadn't been back since. I forgot what a great little shop it is. With my children now picking up music, I will definitely be going back many more times to come! Thank you. Baum's.

Got my daughter a violin here, ended up liking it so much I got one for myself lol. Super knowledgeable staff and incredibly helpful. Went in to pay to have them re-strung or adjusted many times and would have gladly paid but they never charged! Nice!

Came in to get a cleaning kit for my child's band class. The gentleman who helped me was polite, knowledgeable, and courteous. Will go back for any other band necessities!

OMG the staff was so kind and generous. Offering additional help and resources when they didn't have to. Understanding, the prices and cost were within reason. Plus they were playing the Little Mermaid on their TV as I waited... can't any better than that!

I love this music. The selection and layout of the store is always really nice. It's clean and well kept. I have bought two uke's here and a long time ago I bought a geimenhart flute here and I loved it. The flute was in great quality and the staff is usually very friendly.

Knowledgeable and skillful staff, fair prices, and friendly and supportive. Just got my guitar restrung here, he explained the whole process to me, then refused to accept the restringing fee. The kind of business I love to support.

This music store is a very pleasant store that screams "family business". The emphasis is on music education, so they primarily cater to students in school (and all ages!) with instrument sales, rentals, and most importantly repairs. Prices are decent and they deal with the quality brands of instruments. If you are looking for a jam-packed (pun intended) store with a cluster of aging 80's synth players in one corner and a "No Stairway to Heaven" sign in the other, bathed in disco lights, then look elsewhere. Instead here you will find very friendly and music-loving professional staff that will help you find and maintain the gear that you need for your child's school band or for your own enjoyment. If you need lessons, this is an amazing place to start as they have several instructors they can get you in contact with. In fact, that's why I'm here. I'm an aging old curmudgeon that has finally started on his path to learn how to play the guitar and while I may take longer than most, I'm having the time of my life already!

Wonderful repair service for my 18-year-old alto sax. It plays like new! (So new, in fact, I double checked the serial number to make sure I wasn't given a new sax by mistake!)

Excellent store, if you need anything ask Dan! He helped me find the perfect instrument. Don't be discouraged by their lack of items in stock, if you are looking for something specific simply ask and they should be able to get it for you.
