Las Margaritas

Great place in Gainesville, wonderful menu, not you typical Mexican restaurants. Several different items to try. Full bar with unique drinks. Loved the food and service was outstanding. There is lots of seating available, with inside and outside tables. We will definitely be back for more.

Arrived after 1pm was seated right away restaurant was super busy. Our server was great! Table side guacamole is best I e ever had! Great lunch prices and was still way to much for me to eat.

Two iced margaritas 🍹 for $5 were great with complementary nachos and salsa. The food was delicious. The service was good 👍. It's also a good place to celebrate birthdays. They put a big traditional had on birthday boy.

We got to the restaurant at 3:30pm on Monday when it wasn't busy. Because of that I was half-expecting slow service and indifferently prepared food - lunch was long over and the dinner crowd was nowhere in sight. However, my expectations went happily unfulfilled. The hosts at the front door were attentive and pleasant, our server was prompt and friendly. The menu is extensive, filled with delicious sounding appetizers, entrees, combos, kid's and vegetarian options and more. Complimentary chips with homemade salsa started us off. We ordered one combo platter with beef enchilada, chicken tostada and pork tamale, and one order of three pork tacos with sides of rice and beans. The came quickly, was fresh and hot and the portions were generous. Best of all, everything was delicious. For the money, it was outstanding!!

What a great time having lunch on Labor Day with family. Thank you to the staff for serving on a Holiday. I’ve eaten here before but quite some time ago. The food was delicious and the margaritas were great. I enjoyed the burrito with chicken and all the trimmings. The guacamole was on point. Not too spicy. Daisy is a sweetheart and she took great care of us.

It was delicious and well worth the money. I will definitely be coming back in the future. The atmosphere is nice and pretty as well, and the staff friendly.
1/29/24 Update: came towards the end of the day but still got our food fresh and tasted very good (I ordered a chimichanga).

First time visiting this restaurant. The staff is nice with great attitude & helpful. The portions are big with good taste. Nice restaurant to visit & taste Mexican food.

Excellent house salsa. Great flavor and your own dish per person so you can eat all you like. Service was very attentive and Julie made a great recommendation for the Enchiladas Suiza, I did two chicken and two beef. The meats were grilled to perfection, and the flavors exploded in my mouth. The prices are extremely fair for what you get, and you can’t beat an all day happy hour.

Such a nice restaurant. Price is reasonable. The taste is what makes me want to comeback. Absolutely delicious and the total amount of food is amazingly plenty. I always ask for togo box and save it for later. Even the chips provided at the beginning are so good that you can't focus on the main entree.

Arguably the best Mexican restaurant in town. Loved the atmosphere and food!

The food was amazing. We had the fajitas for 2 and I will admit that there was enough food for 3 or 4 people. Service was excellent. The Flan was worth saving room for. The price point was incredible.
What a great meal at a great price.

Had early dinner with granddaughter and her fiance. The taco chips were very warm and crispy in the dipping sauce was great. All of our dinners were very good. The fried ice cream was super yummy! The service was good and the atmosphere was so interesting.

We love going to Los Margaritas for lunch and dinner. Great, authentic Mexican food. Big portions. Their chips and salsa are the best!!! I told them they need to bottle their salsa, it’s so good!! Kind & fast service, even on busy nights. My favorite food is their burritos!! Their fried ice cream is delicious!!
The bathrooms are always clean & they have a nice outdoor seating area in summer or winter. (They make it as comfortable as possible in both weather conditions.)

Nothing here is over the top unique. Everything from the food to the decor to the drinks is on par with what you will find in your own favorite Mexican joint. They have all your favs and the pricing is right. But most importantly, the staff treat us like family. Might be because we are in there 2 nights a week or more lol! But it's a good feeling with you come in and your usual order shows up to the table before your waiter does. Good people running the show, go see them!

Cecilia was our server was nothing short of amazing!!! She was very attentive as well as informative!!! The food recommendations were the best !!! Next time we come back we’ll be sure to ask for her as our sever !!!

I loved my visit here. The dinner options were reasonably priced. I love spicy food, so I chose the Chile Colorado this time, and it was excellent

Consistency! Always good food for a good price with good service. Ingredients for success. It appears clean and good food. I love this place and the all-day 2 for 1 margaritas. Liz is the best waitress. Always good service if you get Liz to wait on you in the barside dining room at lunchtime. Great sense of humor, great memory, and efficient service with a smile behind her mask. Everything is good, and they don't charge extra for the chips and salsa. Best in town. And...yay! The masks are off as a discretion of each employee. I'm so glad this nonsense is going away, and we can see the happy smiles. Always good food. Always great service from Liz seated in the bar area tables.

This was my second trip(work related) and I will admit this is a decent place. I have had the Flautas and a Quesadillas(a rather large one) as well as their Horchata. I have no complaints about their food nor their service. I highly recommend this place for work, lunch or family type engagements.

My family and I love Las Margs! If you’re looking for traditional Mexican food, this isn’t the place for that. However, if you’re looking for yummy comfort food, definitely stop by! The vegetarian nachos are definitely a favorite, we appreciate the entire vegetarian section. Their queso is the best queso in Gville and we always get the margarita special too.
