Messy. Limited stock. Staff standing around talking, no one at the cutting counter that had a line. A customer complained that the website said they opened at 11. It opened at 12. The manager said "well Im new to the store and don't have control over the Internet."

Still hot 🔥 as all get out! The staff is, as always, friendly and helpful.

Updated Feb 25th, 2024: The heating problem seems to be in check. The staff is helpful.
✨ I really wish Joanne's would focus on crafting items and NOT stuffing so many chachki type items around the cash register area for impulse buying. It just seemed so wasteful. Get items that are sewing and crafting related, if you must.

Haven't been to a Joann's for years. Staff was eager to help and offered suggestions. After I did my purchase I realized I could've made a better purchase with the BoGo deal on planner stickers, I apologized to the cashier, Katie, and she offered to do a return without a second thought. Great customer service! I'll surely be back!

They had the material I needed and the sales associate was very helpful. The cashier was also patient with me when I ran back and got some more thread. Great job guys!

While I was able to find suitable fabric for my next project unfortunately they didn't have the sewing patterns I needed. The staff was friendly and I did enjoy my visit.

They have many many items throughout the store. The one thing that amazed me about this location, HOW NEAT EVERYTHING WAS! Nothing on the floor, everything was in it's correct place. Easy to navigate and kept up for your convenience. This was a last minute trip for my kid's project, we were in and out in about 10 mins. 👌

This Joann Fabrics was awesome. The variety was great, the prices were good, got a good haul. Found a piece of fabric had been watching the price at least for two years and I the price was great. There was only six and a half yards on the bolt, all I needed was five bought it all. Beautiful light purple was tribal designs. Absolutely beautiful. My girlfriend took me there and it is a crafters, designers, sewers wonderland. The sales people were pleasant too. Would definitely go again. Many Kudos 😁☺😘💃🙌🌹😘

I have always found what I needed in this store and the fact that it is one of the few craft stores in this county make it very convenient. The associates have always been very helpful. My only suggestion is to hire more people since the lines get long especially during sales and you need more cashiers. This is my go-to store for crafting.

This is the best place to go if you need fabric and like to pick it out in person. Places like hobby lobby in laurel have maybe 1/15 the amount that joannes does, and that's being generous, I wouldn't be surprised if it's 1/20 or less.

The crafting stuff isn't nearly as stocked. So for beads and things I'd go elsewhere. Yarn is about the same as Michaels or hobby lobby as is the cross stitch/embroidery sections.

Honestly I only come here when I have a sewing project. I like to pick out fabrics in person and this is definitely the best store for that. They have deals on patterns sometimes too, making them as low as 5 for 10$ which is very low for the big names like McCall's.

Been going to Joanns as long as its been in Greenbelt Mall. I konw the girls and they know me. I enjoy going to Joanns in Greenbelt and i'm 86 yrears and still drive so if i need material i go to JoAnn's.

Ive been able to rely on this Joanns for most of my craft needs since my first sewing project near 18years ago. Great place.

This store usually have what I need in stock. They keep their sewing patterns, fabrics and notions well stocked. The store is neat and their employees are friendly and knowledgeable about their products.

The best quantity and selection of fabric all in one place. I make wigs a hobby, and I get everything I need here. My pins, my mannequin, elastic and best quality lace ever!

No complaints! I started going to Joann's in September, 2020, very eager to join in the war against covid-19. Cindy, a manager, picked up on that I was a newbee and became my mentor. She helped with material and thread selection, measurements and the tools I needed to make cloth face masks! It was a new environment for me. She helped me build up my confidence. I purchased a sewing machine, learned how to operated it and how to sew on YouTube. I was determined to "make it work". I now consider myself a qualified 3D cloth mask maker, of course, using CDC guidelines.
