Wingate by Wyndham Waynesboro/Route 340

Recently renovated rooms are really nice with microwave, fridge and coffee maker. The receptionists were very accommodating. They chose a quiet room for us to stay. The bedding was very comfortable. The complimentary breakfast bar was great. It had many selections including an automatic pancake machine! The water pressure was strangely high though so flushing toilets sounds like a jet taking off 🤣.

Clean rooms! We checked in at 11:30 at night, The staff was very cordial.Continental breakfast had a lot of options. Near to the freeway...!

Good size rooms with nice breakfast biscuits, gravy, eggs, sausage, etc. Well sized indoor pool.

All that Susan and I can say is wow first of all our room is complementary because we are Wyndham resort owner, and Wyndham rewards card owners, and we were able to get the deluxe king suite for free. The management was excellent as they helped us to reset a fault protected breaker. The breakfast bar was unbelievable. My wife and I travel at least 50 nights a year for our business and this was either the top or next top for the breakfast buffet, and by the way, who has ever heard of a 24 hour, indoor heated, swimming, pool, and Jacuzzi, I just can’t say enough about this we will definitely be back and right across the street is free charging for the EV. Thanks Windgate for making it perfect. We will be back many times!

This is my favorite hotel in the valley. The service is stupendous. The staff is amazing. The amenities are top shelf... Especially the breakfast bar. I will stay nowhere else. 🙂

We haven’t stayed at the Wingate by Wyndham in Waynesboro VA yet but after speaking to Bethany at their front desk we can’t wait until our reservation date arrives! Bethany was one of the most professional, kind, friendly and knowledgeable staff members I have spoken to in the hotel business! She never suggested that I “could go online “ to find my answers to my questions - she spent a lot of time with me on the phone to make sure that I felt 100% with my reservations - I was making wedding reservations for 4 other family members so I needed everything to be perfect and locked in and Bethany assured me of that before we hung up . I am extremely impressed with Bethany - there are other hotels in the area but because of Bethany I made everyone’s reservations at the Wingate in Waynesboro! Bethany should be training other staff members. Thank you Bethany for your time and kindness - it is appreciated!

I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. I stayed from October 16th to October 17th 2023 and from the moment I pulled in I got greeted by the manager and the guy behind the desk was extra friendly and went out of his way to make sure everything was taken care of. When I was using their hot tub, it wasn't so hot but without me even asking, management and then the guy from behind the desk came into the pool room and made the hot tub hot again. They truly went above and beyond! Also their breakfast has a really good variety as well and the rooms are nice and clean and quiet. Will definitely without a doubt choose this hotel next time I'm in the area as for the guy behind the desk I wish I would have got his name he definitely deserves a raise! Also they have some of the best rates in the area.

This place is amazing! I spent a relaxing hour in the wonderful heated pool & awesome hot tub after traveling from Ohio. Our room was very clean & smelled fresh. I loved the AC/heater that hummed me to sleep & the wonderful breakfast in the morning. Highly recommend & we’ll be back.

I will forever stay here when I come to town and visit. This is very nice and affordable. I loved the fact that the pool and jacuzzi are open 24 hours. All the staff were beyond nice. The breakfast was great. They had many healthy ones too. Coffee you have 24 access to as well. This is the only place I'm staying at when I come to town. Thank all the staff for your great hospitality. Especially the night worker. She was really cool. I forgot her name.

Hotel was great. Recently remodeled. Bed was super comfortable. Rooms were clean. Bedding and towels smelled fresh. Great location for shopping and food. Excellent place for us to hang our hat for the evening!

By far the best Wyndham hotel property we’ve stayed at. We are Wyndham owners and stay at Wyndham owned properties when we’re traveling long distances. I understand this property was recently taken over by Wyndham and so I’m thinking maybe because they already had a high standard as an IHG property, the standard carried over. It was clean, great breakfast, non-smoking hotel, very reasonably priced and they had zero issue with the fact I had a service dog. Very friendly staff. It just felt nice all around to stay somewhere with the Wyndham name that was a quality property. The standards here should be kept at all the properties.

Well ran. Clean and updated. Good breakfast. Hot tub was warm, not hot. Step down into hot tub was dangerous for older people.

This property just switched over from being a Holiday Inn Express (which explains the lack of ranking here, which had me concerned along with low price) and had some fresh paint smells in the hallway. That was about the only issue, good quality room and breakfast in the morning, which looked similar to what you find at a HIE and was good enough for a picky 5 year old. Staff was friendly as well.
