KK's Cafe

My first visit to KK's was wonderful. I ordered a burger and fries. The burger was exactly how a burger should be, juicy and flavorful (but not overseasoned). The fries were a little over seasoned for my taste but cooked perfectly and delicious.
My husband had the chicken salad sandwich and onion rings. He said he wouldn't order the sandwich again. Chicken salad is a pretty subjective thing. I'm sure many people would like it.
Now let me tell you about the onion rings. RUN, don't walk, to get them. Hands down some of the best onion rings I have had in my life. They had the perfect amount of crispy, flaky batter. Totally yummy!
The service was excellent, which is hard to find these days. The manager or owner even came around to every table to ask how everything was.
The bill was a very reasonable $22.
We will definitely be frequenting this wonderful establishment again.

This place was a hidden gem! Thankfully someone local recommended it to us. The staff was so welcoming, the food portions were large to say the least, and prices very reasonable. The shrimp omelette sounded so unique I had to try it and it did not disappoint. And hey, if you order a biscuit, they are like a mini cake - I have never seen such a large biscuit! Clean and family friendly.

My Mom & I had lunch here, my first time. She had the blueberry pancakes, I had a bite and they were awesome! Tasted homemade and very flavorful. She had a biscuit, which was large enough to share, also homemade. I had the Duck Wontons which were really good. They had a rich, creamy corn filling with a very mild duck taste. In fact, had I not read duck on the menu I wouldn't have though that protein was inside (trick your picky friend & try it!). It wouldn't stay well very long so I wouldn't get this item to go. We split the plain jane cheesecake and it knocked our socks off. Basic & very well done. The service was outstanding, our waitress Shawna was very nice. We will be back. I'll probably try the beignets.

I loved so much about KK's! The Christian rock music was a breath of fresh air, sharing local artist work on the walls is always appreciated, and all of the coffee mugs are different and artsy. The food is excellent too! The homemade buscuits are made fresh daily and are incredibly large and so delicious. They have the best Beignets I have ever tasted (light fluffy delicious). We had a pleasant chat with the owner who told us all about the buscits that her husband makes in the mornings and how they searched long asks hard to find the beignet mix. You gotta try KK's!

Nice place for brunch. Good portions of food. Tends to get crowded quickly.

The food was awesome and has a great friendly environment. The owner was very polite and welcomed us warm heartedly. The beignets and chicken fried steak along with the biscuits are finger licking good. My family will return. Great experience!!

I was pleased to find the menu with lots of choices and the food did not disappoint! I loved my hamburger steak dinner and the bread was terrific. Everything was seasoned well and the service was on point even for a busy day. I’m looking forward to returning soon!

I rarely get to meet up with a friend and enjoy breakfast so when we picked a place I was so glad to try Kk's Cafe. Everything was delicious! I have so many positive things to say!
We picked out a cheesecake to go, they have a nice selection which are all homemade.
My biscuit was soft for my sandwhich and the bacon was cooked perfectly.
The beignets are worth treating yourself to.
Atmosphere was comfortable and clean. Also great for families to enjoy. Outside seating would be perfect on cooler day.
We met the owner and she is happy to help find options or provide options for anyone who has special dietry needs. I have a child with some and it was just wonderful to have her offer that.
Go check it out if you haven't! Next up we want to try their barberue available on Sundays!

Food was great. I don’t think I captured all of the food. The chips were wonderful the duck wontons were delicious. Everything was delicious.

We enjoyed a wonderful breakfast this morning! Our server offered suggestions and we went with the chicken biscuit & gravy. It was delicious and we couldn't finish it. Staff was very friendly and the owner even visited our table. Top notch place!

I ordered takeout on a Sunday an hour after they opened and thank goodness I did because they already had people lined up out the door. You can tell this place is popular around that area for sure and I see why now. I tried a few different things with my mother and oh my goodness I can’t say enough greatness about all the food we got. Literally everything was spectacular. Portions were huge. Biscuits were so flippin good. I will definitely be back probably multiple times and I will definitely recommend it to anyone I talk to.

KK's cafe is one of my favorite breakfast spots in the Lafayette area. Their staff is always kind and helpful, also the food is always yummy.

I don’t like to offer a review unless o experience a place more than once. I have been to Kk’s cafe about 6 time and every time I go the service is amazing and the food is just as amazing every time! This is my favorite place for brunch and lunch and dinner and I drive 35minutes just to come and get good food and good service! The absolute best place to eat in Acadiana

Great staff and amazing food! We eat here at least once a week! We have not found anything on the menu that is not good. Fried chicken which is what the wife normally orders. Burgers have a great flavor! The wings are available naked or breaded which is great for all palates. The club and chicken, and monte cristo sandwiches are all amazing! The biscuits are the size of a small plate so if you order the biscuits and gravy be prepared to eat! French toast is great as well. They even make their own chips that are spectacular! I have not even gotten to the CHEESECAKES! The cheesecakes are made IN HOUSE! These are not purchase they are made on site! AMAZING!!! You will not regret choosing this place for breakfast, lunch or supper!!!

Extremely polite staff. Very clean place. Some of the best food around. Definitely the best biscuits and gravy I've ever had.

Nice little spot. I've never had anything from here that wasn't good. Had the seafood gumbo the other day and it was on point.
