Grandbelly's Country Cafe

Stopped in at this cute little breakfast spot on our way out of town. We saw a guest book and signed it after checking out some other comments from visitors talking about how good the food was, and was very excited right away. We were not disappointed! Our server was very friendly, she got our coffees and orders quickly, the food was out fast and was delicious. It's a very classic menu but it tastes like your mom just cooked it right in front of you. The restaurant was clean, the coffee was good, and everyone was friendly. We will be back!

Oh my gosh! This was a hidden gem. We were looking for a place to lunch around the Medway exit and came across the place just a mile or so off the exit. Lots of downhome homemade options. It was causal, homey with great service and great food. Go. Eat. Visit. You'll be glad you did. (The prices were very reasonable with a discount for paying cash!!)

Cute restaurant with delicious food. Was so yummy we went back 2 days in a row. It’s cute and charming and opens at 6 am. We arrive at 6:10. The staff was perky and nice. The food was delicious. I know other reviews mentioned frozen food but the items we had were fresh made. The biscuits for biscuits and gravy were definitely hand made the way your grandma would make them. You could feel the love in every bite. The French toast was outstanding. The omelette had the perfect cheese to egg ratio and was delicious. The marble rye toast was also fantastic. We took a piece of blueberry coffee cake home with us. The meal was delicious. We wished we had a breakfast place near us that was this yummy. They do get busy so sometimes things get a bit slower BUT it was great food and great service.

Very clean and super friendly. Our waitress Tressa was great and on point. The food hands down amazing. I had sirloin tips perfect! Hubby had the meatloaf also amazing. Highly recommend if you're in the area.

Tough to find down right satisfying meals along the Medway to Millinocket stretch. However, Grandbelly’s quite adequately fills the niche. This location has turned over a few times, betting this one sticks! At last 😎

Haddock fish fry. Probably the best I've had. Well cooked, flaky, lightly battered, not oily or greasy.

Wife and I stopped in for lunch, had the Reuben, was one of the best iv had, even finished the wife's, lol, great place

Homemade food, very delicious. Pleasant upbeat waitress. Cozy relaxing atmosphere. Dessert wonderful selection of mouth watering goodies.

The restaurant was welcoming and friendly. The service was excellent and our server had excellent suggestions for things we would enjoy.

We stayed at a campsite down the road, came off the mountain late last night and headed home today. We were ready for some good eating. This place hit the spot. "Mom and pop" restaurant atmosphere

Great environment. Laid back and great old style cook'n. Was open early so thats a bonus for us traveling. One of the better places I've ever ate in Maine.

Nice off the beaten path place for good comfort food. There is nothing like soup and grilled cheese on a chilly day. Nice selection of homemade desserts as well.

A sweet and welcoming spot for comfort food, American classics or family dinner. The owner was amazing and so accommodating for our large party. We were all impressed with the portions, and everything was fresh and delicious! Don't forget to check out the beautiful desserts in the case by the door!

Stopped in for lunch on our way to Baxter State Park, classic family owned restaurant feel. Portions were generous, the specials were delicious, and so much so that we came back for breakfast the next day!

We always stop here on our way to and from fishing and hunting trips. Great breakfast.

Holy guacamole! Grandbelly hit every spot! The team members were incredible, the restaurant was clean and cute, the food… c’mon! Highly, highly recommend.
