I loved it here. From the minute I walked up it was a vibe. This location was curated from head to toe with attention to detail.

I loved the outdoor terrace out back where we ate by the canal. The inside is really nice with a visual display counter of their desserts and croissants.

You actually feel as if your where eating at someone’s home.

The menu is on point and perfect for brunch.

Most important was the reception and service from Prince Durocher, the manager on the floor and their staff from the hostesses and servers. They all have the Cafe’ Bastille spirit and warmth.

I will return.

The food was delicious. The atmosphere was so relaxing and fun. Our server was super quick, efficient, and friendly. Our food came out quicker than we expected. Of course, the wait was long because it was Sunday morning brunch time but nothing abnormal for this type of restaurant. Some people had dogs which they calmly kept with them.

All our food was delicious, literally some of the best tasting. All the drinks were great. I'd be happy eating and drinking anything here.

Amazing brunch spot. Relaxing setting, adorable outside seating & decor (even down to the napkins) & excellent staff service all around. Had the green perfection smoothie & it was the best smoothie I’ve ever had. The roasted turkey Benedict on top of half a croissant was delicious. Took home a Nutella croissant & an Almond croissant that were perfection. Highly recommended!

We visited the Café Bastille all-day brunch restaurant at the Fort Lauderdale location. We chose it because it was right by the waterfront. However, it’s worth mentioning that this restaurant doesn’t accept reservations.

Café Bastille is a charming single-story building adorned with flowers, and its entrance is particularly inviting. Upon our request, we were promptly seated at a table right by the water. Although the space is small, it boasts an elegant interior design and a delightful outdoor area. Even the wallpaper in the restroom was beautiful, and I couldn’t help but capture the pleasant atmosphere in my photos.

My spouse and I ordered the Parisian Omelet, which included ham, mushrooms, and cheese. Additionally, I requested smoked salmon and croissant. As a beverage, we paired our coffee this time instead of classic Mimosas with a Summer Bellini cocktails.

Our server, Allison, greeted us with a smile and efficiently delivered our food. Contrary to some reviews, we experienced no delays in service; in fact, we were quite satisfied. The omelet we ordered was flavorful and filling, although I personally found it a tad dry—perhaps slightly less cooking time would have made it even more enjoyable. On the other hand, the Summer Bellini made from champagne and peach puree was truly delightful. The only critique I have is that the coffee I requested refilled twice arrived cold. However, when we informed our server, the subsequent refill was piping hot.

I must also mention that at many restaurants of this caliber, clearing empty dishes from the table can be slow, but here, it was impressively efficient—a crucial aspect of quality service in my opinion.

In summary, Café Bastille is genuinely charming, located by the water, and their brunch offerings are delicious.
Keep in mind that weekends tend to be quite crowded. Additionally, I recommend arriving before 10:30 AM to secure a spot without waiting in line. Lastly, it’s worth noting that an 18% service charge is automatically added to the bill.

Considering the taste, ambiance, waterside location, and excellent service, the $65 per person, including the tip, felt reasonable to me. But observing the orders from neighboring tables, I believe they paid a more suitable amount.

This place has everything you need for a worthwhile brunch experience. The atmosphere is modern earthy and has both an indoor and outdoor seating! The outdoor back patio is on the water and it’s a good view. Service is professional and the food is fresh tasting and delicious with big portions. Drinks are refreshing!

Our waitress Celoi, was fantastic. In addition to the food. Everything was beyond delicious. Turkey Benedict, Nutella croissant, French toast cappuccino, Frank’s hash- all delicious! If we lived in Florida this would be a go-to brunch spot for us!

Had a great breakfast experience. Even beyond the great food, the service was immediately evident. Teamwork is a winning quality here as clearly they all work together to ensure a great dining experience. Our server Robert was amazing, and was supported by great staff. Now for the food; our dishes were wonderfully presented and the flavors did not disappoint. My hot chocolate was award winning! My wife thoroughly enjoyed her omelette and my steak, egg and potatoes were great as well. I ended the meal with a delicious chocolate croissant! Short wait to get in, but once seated all the worries float away.

Café Bastille was an amazing brunch spot my group tried while in Fort Lauderdale. We sat inside (outside dining was packed!). Every single breakfast item we tried was very well made. I had one of the best egg Benedict’s I have ever had. I highly recommend this spot when in the area!

Highly recommend Café Bastille for a delicious and charming brunch experience!

The first thing to note is the atmosphere, and the stunning view of the canal. They offer upper and lower outdoor seating, depending on if you want to sit closer to the water or not.

I had the Turkish eggs which were perfectly poached and the accompanying bread was perfect for soaking up all the delicious sauce.

Be careful though as it can get real busy.

My friend brought me here shortly after moving to the area, and I was speechless at how much I loved this place!! I instantly fell in love with the green decor and the waterfront views, but the food and service were top notch as well! I thoroughly enjoyed having Parrish as our server, and the owner was very kind as well. Be prepared to wait on the weekends, as it is walk in only at this location. It's well worth the wait though, and there's plenty to do while waiting, like walking down Las Olas right around the corner. I will certainly be back! 😊

Amazing food and service! Food came out fast fresh and delicious. Went to order some croissants to go at the counter on our way out and was surprised there’s a 18% auto gratuity included on pickup orders. Not a fan of that alas all the food was delicious will come back!

We passed on this spot over the weekend as the line up was very long. Thats how we knew we needed to go. Monday brunch. No line up but still busy and constant table turns all around us. The atmosphere is amazing. We didn’t sit beside the water, but close enough to enjoy the view. We had an omelette and waffle and shared them both. Worked out perfectly and the taste was top notch.

Came her for a lunch meeting after hearing so much about it! The food was really good we had the avocado toast and the spicy salmon bowl and lattes! Delicious, fresh and priced well. Our waitress was Parish and she always made sure we were enjoying ourselves. So nice to know we have a spot like this right next to my office!

First time here, saw this cafe on social media a while back. I live close so I wanted to try it. Sat outside by the water. They have large umbrellas for when it gets too sunny out. Service was excellent, everyone worked well together. Food was delicious, prices were fair. Will definitely be back.

Will definitely be back! Prices match the quality of the food. Pictured is the croissant and the steak and egg bowl. I like that they have fresh squeezed juices available as well, they come in to go bottles which made it easy to consume throughout the day.

We live in a suburb where most coffee shops are in strip malls and when you sit down you’re facing a parking lot…

So for us it was extra nice to celebrate a birthday with brunch at Cafe Bastille, waterfront, sunshine, and excellent food. Lovely experience!
