Very cute cafe! Owner was super nice and personable. Waitresses have great personalities! Food was great and tasty. Try the Skiiers Delight. Enjoyed our breakfast so much that we returned for lunch after our bike ride on the nearby Electric Trail!

I found this place through Local Flavor and the voucher that is offered, and since my friend and I were biking on the Albany-Hudson Electric Trail, we decided to stop and check it out. To say we were pleasantly surprised by how nice this place is would be an understatement! They have an extensive breakfast and lunch menu, and everything is very reasonably priced. Plus, the service was some of the best I've experienced, with our server being very nice and stopping by pretty frequently to make sure we had everything we needed! The food came out pretty quickly as well! We went at first for breakfast, and both got the Skiers French Toast, which was absolutely delicious! Since we were very impressed with the place and the service, we stopped on the way back for lunch as well, where I got the Pilgrim's Sandwich (served hot or cold, with turkey, cranberry sauce and stuffing and a gravy dip), which was again very delicious! While we did not have much time to look at the giftique, it appeared to be pretty nice, with a good selection including quite a bit of little gifts and items with an upstate New York theme. If you are in the East Greenbush area, I would definitely recommend paying a visit here! Great service, great food, and great atmosphere! Will definitely be back there again! 😁

This place is a hidden gem. The food is flavorful and the staff is incredibly hospitable (even for fussy infants) Great for lunch dates, grab and go or getting some work done.
The french onion soup is amazing — I’ll be back for more.

What a lovely cafe with wonderful service and great food. I had the sweet potato praline pancakes, a family recipe I hears and they were amazing. I also ordered coffee and a side of sausage, one sausage patty. I enjoyed shopping in the gift store also afterwards.

I had my bridal shower here and it was better than we could have ever imagined!!! The food was AMAZING and they even provided cupcakes based off our theme. The owner Amy is so friendly and accommodating. Amazing experience 10/10! We will be back!!

Amy, Paige and the rest of the staff are so friendly and make you feel right at home. Food is delicious and the cafe is so adorable. I love coming here. It is cozy and inviting. I recommend that everyone must go and experience this lovely little cafe.

Best bacon egg and cheese in town in my opinion, and everything was exactly how we requested it. Awesome service, super delicious rotating soup (can't wait to try more) and lots of options for coffee. So glad I stumbled upon this place!

Impromptu breakfast stop that was fabulous! Food was delicious, service was excellent and ambiance was perfect for a rainy morning. Definitely try the Peach Mint Iced Tea - best Iced Tea I have ever had.

I recently hosted a baby shower brunch and I can’t say enough good things about it. Amy and her business partner were so easy to deal with and very accommodating. The food was delicious and plentiful for a very reasonable cost. Such a quaint spot for a small group for breakfast or brunch. They opened on a Sunday so we had the place to ourselves. Highly recommend!!

Everyone is friendly and accommodating. Avocado toast w eggs and bacon was delicious. And the gift shop is a plus.

Skip "Cracker Barrel"--it's a major rip-off. Drive 1 mile here. This place is cleaner, cheaper, and BEST of ALL is it LOCALLY owned and operated. The service timely and friendly. This is neither a food "mill" like Cracker Barrel, nor is it "fine dining." It doesn't purport to be all that. It is a small, local eatery with local staff serving up what you might want at home, but not be willing to cook. Go here. Don't go to the chains unless you're desperate.

I have been to Roots a few times and shopped the gift shop and picked up a delicious cookie platter around the holidays but,
today we stopped in for
lunch. We had the Pilgrim sandwich it was delicious!

The only place I go for gifts for birthdays and holidays. The owner is so helpful and kind. They support so many local small brands too! I highly recommend them!
