Nassau Veterinary Clinic

This was our first time at Nassau Vet. We have a 13 year old rescue female dog in pretty good shape. The vet was very thorough and took her time in examining her for the first time. Explained everything to us and gave us pricing for everything they did. Very professional and friendly staff. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Our boy Poochi is a difficult patient even though he weighs less than 15 pounds. The staff at Nassau Veterinary Clinic manage his healthcare very well. He is older now and has a variety of problems. The veterinarians keep us informed of any changes in his conditions. They provide us with detailed instructions for his day-to-day care. We are very happy with the care they provide.

We have been using Nassau Veterinary Clinic for years; as we have owned many dogs. At one time or another I believe we have seen every veterinarian employed there. They have always been more than helpful. In every case we that have brought to them, they made sure we understood the situation at hand so that we could make informed decisions. The professionalism and caring nature shown, starts with the employees at the front desk and goes throughout your visit. We consider the employees of the clinic to be part our extended family.

Nassau Vet is the BEST! The care and compassion they have for my senior dog Gus is second to none. He goes for nail trimmings, boarding and his general routine visits. Every time we go the staff is so friendly and helpful. They are short staffed at the moment as everyone is so please be patient but I really can’t recommend them enough

They were so kind and helpful through the very beginning of checking in, the appointment and check out. Everyone there clearly loves animals. I felt so welcomed and the kitties felt loved too. I also didn't buy the tick medicine right away and there was no judgemenr or lecture. They understood and were so kind! Highly recommend!!

I love bringing my cat Shadow here!! Appointments are smooth and they don’t dawdle. At the same time, the quality of service is top notch!! The folks here take the time to explain their recommendations and the results from blood work, dental cleaning, etc. I highly recommend them for your pet!

We just switched to Nassau Veterinary Clinic for our dogs and cats. What a breath of fresh air! Every single staff member, no matter their role, were very friendly, helpful and informative. They treated our critters like their own and even our super scared pup warmed right up. The staff even expressed their condolences over the death of our kitty whom they had never even seen. The entire office is super clean, no foul odors, and streamlined for humans and pets. Highly recommend their practice!

Staff at Nassau Vet are always friendly and professional. Now,and over 40+!years,we have gotten the finest most expert care for all of our animals.

Always happy with Nassau Veterinary Clinic. With all the challenges right now, they're doing a great job! I cannot give my cat pills or cut her nails so always take her there. Much easier. Didn't have to wait long to get an appointment either.

Staff is warm and kind to my animals. They are friendly and always have a smile on. Doctors are thorough and make sure that I understand everything they say. My animals have been coming here for a few years. I live 35 min away and would drive an hour if I had to. My dog has had 2 knee surgeries and a tooth extraction, cat had been on deaths door and they fixed them both us great. I love this Vet Clinic!!!

Everyone at Nassau Vet treats you and your pet like family. They are kind, friendly, and genuinely care about you and your pet.

I just dropped my dog there this morning for short-term boarding. She was so excited to see all her friends - everyone greeted her, gave her pets and love. To see your dog happy, secure, and comfortable when you are leaving them for a few days is such a gift. Sometimes I worry she'll be bored when she comes home!

They have been our vet for just shy of 16 years with our beloved kitty. They have helped us with both routine and emergent issues, right until it was time to let her go. They were incredibly accommodating and supportive through that process as well. I'd recommend to anyone.

I have been going here for years. I've had some cats with some pretty serious health issues and they were always cared for with compassion and with the highest level of care.
I drive an hour to bring my cats here and would not take them anywhere else.

I have been coming to Nassau Veterinary Clinic for almost 2 years, since adopting my dog from the Humane Society. Everyone is very professional, caring, and personable. The kennel staff are absolutely wonderful. Our dog considers it his home away from home.

I've been bringing my senior dog Bella here for over a year now, and she is in VERY good hands. The doctors and staff are friendly, compassionate and professional. We recently had to bring in our 13 year old cat Indy for an emergency exam. We quickly learned he had advanced kidney failure, and the doctors compassionately and professionally guided us through the process of euthanasia. We were so grateful that the staff was able to hold space and facilitate this for us - we really felt our relationship with our cat was honored in the process and care.
