Ted's Café Escondido

Amazing service from the front staff to our waiter. Chips, dips, drinks, and food came out fast and fresh. The cherry limeade was very good with lots of flavor, the chips and cheese sauce were a great pre meal snack, and the main meal was excellent! And to top it off with a small dessert was good too, always coming back here for a good meal.

I have either never noticed this clever inverted lime trick or this location just really pays attention to detail. Thank you, Landon, for recommending the stuffed avocados, they are my new favorite!

We ate at this Ted’s location twice in a week while visiting family in Oklahoma. Both times we had a large group and the server was excellent in tending to our tables. I wish I could remember their names! Food, margaritas and beer were great and made a hard family time a little better!

Now I'm not one for TexMex, but their food was delicious. I had the crunchy shredded beef tacos 🌮. Great size servings because I like to save half my plate for later. My picture 👇 shows how big my taco was... all goodness. The salsa/chips, beans, and rice were all good. My daughter ate her entire plate, "Plato Gordo" 😁... something tells me she loved it! Our server was attentive, yet a little overwhelmed (Hint 😉 it's a great day if your section is busy). The restaurant was clean, with friendly staff, and delicious food... next time I'll bring my entire family.

40 min wait due to us eating at busy time on a Friday night.... Got seated and chips and salsa were delivered promptly....
Jakayla took great care of us. All the food came out tasty and hot! The food came out relatively quick considering the busy night.
Bar staff got me taken care of as we waited for our table... Thank you for being awesome - she made the visit more enjoyable...cold beer she poured -oh so yummy.
If in the area in the future I would definitely visit again.
They should all be commended!!!

Best Mexican food I've had in the south. There was three of us and we were all pleased with our food. I love the shedded beef. It was our first time there so they come to welcome you . Very hospitable place. Would definitely go back !

Wow! Just Wow! I highly suggest this place!!! Service was FaNtAsTiC!!! The Fajitas were AMAZING!!!! And the 'CAT5' was Stellar! I already can't wait to go back! We sat in the bar area.... Ajah was our server!!!! *update... back again... EVEN BETTER!!!!!! (EAT IN THE BAR...hint hint).... again and again. Lol... we keep coming here, and it's still awesome!!!!!

Ted's has incredible thin crispy chips and fluffy tortillas to go with their awesome salsa and cheese sauce. I love their wraps and soup and salad. The ranch tastes like kraft ranch. That's the only negative thing I can say. Awesome food every time.

I almost don’t want tell everyone how delicious and amazing the food is here because then it will be hard to get a seat when I want to eat there. The salsa is the best I’ve ever had, and I love the thin tortilla chips. Every dish I’ve ever had has been perfect. I ordered the chicken chimichanga and it was amazing. The shredded chicken was moist and flavorful.

I honestly had no idea There was even a ted's right there! We usually go to the Norman location which it used to not matter which location you went to. But in the last year that one has really fallen off. To my surprise, I have been to this Ted's twice now in the last 3 months. Once for a bridal shower and then for A family birthday. They are what you expect teds to be!! All staff was great food was great and accurate in a timely fashion! Could not rave more about this location!!

Was told to try out this place. It’s right by the hotel so figured I’d give it a go. Place is clean and decorated up nice.
When you get there they give you chips, queso , and salsa for free. Chips were amazing, and if you ask they’ll also bring out home made tortillas.
The food was pretty great too. Had taco, enchilada, and tamale. Would definitely recommend even tho someone else said this is white people Mexican.

Great Job! Our waitress Alie did a great job! She was very busy as there were a couple of birthdays going on at the same time. We never needed for anything.

Hit this Ted's location for lunch on a weekday, and they delivered in an outstanding fashion. The ground beef Chimichanga, cream corn, and pinto beans were fabulous.. I very rarely experience an "off" day at any Ted's location..

So good. We had a party of 6 so we had a small wait but no problem there. The food was amazing. The fresh tortillas were great. The atomic salsa was so good. Wish we had one closer to home.

Awesome food. I went on my birthday & after we was done with our meal, most of the staff all came out & put a big Sombrero on my head & sang my happy birthday. Even if it's usually embarrassing to have everyone's attention on you in public sometimes it's still fun. The Sombrero helps hide ya .. until they take it off lol. I would definitely recommend this place. Excellent food with complimentary chips, salsa, queso, tortillas & relish.

We ordered Ted's casual service (drop-off) chicken fajita buffet for our party, and we were super impressed with the food and the service of the delivery staff. The serving sizes are generous and it is incredible everything that is included in the price of the entree (of course the fixings like guac, sour cream, and pico, but also: rice, beans, chips, queso, salsa, atomic salsa, cinnamon chips (dessert), plates, plastic ware, napkins, unsweet tea, sweetener packets, ice, and cups)!!! Everyone was impressed! Thank y'all!!!

Yummy cheese sauce and the softest flower tortillas. Atomic salsa and relish is complementary as well! We really enjoy the set up and come in at least once a month just to enjoy that. My food usually always goes home in a box lol. Thankfully they let me get the kids meal.

Still the same great food. Service is hit or miss.

Food was super delicious and waiter went above and beyond. If you've tried Ted's before and found it ok , go try this store out flagship for sure awesome job. Changed my mind
