River Front Cafe

I recently had the pleasure of dining at the River Front Cafe in downtown Petaluma and thoroughly enjoyed our lunch experience.

The food selection was wonderfully diverse, with options ranging from fresh salads and sandwiches to heartier entrees like steaks and seafood. We opted for a Mediterranean shawarma, but others in our group enjoyed wraps and sandwiches.

One of my favorite parts was getting to dine outside right next to the river. The weather was perfect and it was so peaceful and scenic to enjoy our meal along the waterfront. The outdoor patio really takes advantage of the cafe's prime location.

Overall I couldn't recommend River Front Cafe more highly. From the friendly welcoming staff to the incredible food and ideal waterside setting, it's a Petaluma jewel that I hope to return to next time I'm in the area. Whether dining alone or with friends and family, it's a superb dining option that has something for everyone.

The people here are always so friendly and the food is delicious! On our most recent visit we got the Petaluma crepe (with Nutella, strawberries, and banana), the smoked salmon Benedict, and lentil soup. Everything was great!

River Front Cafe is awesome! Great food! Friendly staff! Beautiful interior! They have Wi-Fi. They have indoor and outdoor seating! Without doubt I strongly recommend going! Have a great day!❤😃⚓

Fantastic breakfast! The egg, cheese, and bacon croissant was delicious and fresh. The pancakes were soft and fluffy. The food came out quickly. Staff was friendly! Will definitely come back next time we're in town.

The gentleman who took my order was very polite, helpful, and kind. We had never been there before and he was very patient with us while we took a glance at the menu. I ordered the turkey club with a salad. Delicious. Our dog accidently knocked over a glass of tea at the tables outside and a young man was very quick to help me by cleaning it up. I will be back!

Elias and Staff make this 5 start cafe a Michelin spot in my mind, taste buds and heart. I come to visit my mom, and every time, she wants to eat their amazing carrot cake. The food has always been top-notch and service great. This time was no exception. This visit I chose to order the vegetarian plate that comes with falafel's. I really don't like falafels, but I was pleasantly surprised. These were amazing. Elias explained they are made fresh daily and cooked when ordered. Oh my... what a nice treat. Highly recommend.

The owner is the absolute best. He goes above and beyond for his customers. On my 19th birthday, there was no place to go to celebrate it with my parents. It was closing time for Riverfront Cafe, but Elias himself opened it back up just for me, told his worker they can go home, and stayed and cooked the best cheeseburger I've ever had. I'm 24 now and we all still remember that night. To this day, I feel their burger is the best. I just went there yesterday for lunch, and he still remembers how to make the burger the way I like it, even after about a year of not being able to go there. For about a dollar less than a MacDonald's quarter pounder deluxe meal, you can get an actual gourmet style burger with real ingredients, and cooked with the love of an actual chef!

My family loved the blueberry pancakes. There were lots of fresh blueberries. The owners are very kind and helpful when making choices. The staff is great!!

Delicious French Toast 🍓🍌

My first impression... I love the variety of food items. I ordered strawberry, banana French toast & coffee. Unfortunately I spilt my coffee on myself. Elias the OWNER immediately brought out a wet towel, and helped me. I appreciate his hospitality. My cousin enjoyed his salmon sandwich 🥪 & 🥗 It was a very enjoyable experience. I highly recommend this restaurant 👌

Great views at the outdoir seatings. The staff/owner were very kind and friendly. I only had a cup of mocha and it was good. I would definitely try other items on the menu next time.

WOW is all I can say! Best Mediterranean food I have had in a long time! The falafel were to die for...so fresh and crunchy on the outside. The humus and the baba ghanoush were exquisite! I highly recommend this vegetarian plate!!! Great customer service as well!!

First time in the area and a friend recommended this place. Glad I tried it. Family owned and operated, clean, good service, quality food 🙌

We had a delicious breakfast here! The owner was very kind and accommodating to my vegan needs. He cooked up a bunch of veggies and potatoes for me & it was VERY good. My wife loved her Omni breakfast too. The owner came & checked on us to make sure we were happy. He was so nice & funny too. We Highly recommend this place.

Excellent Restaurant! Very good good! Great location on The Petaluma River Water Front! Lots of room indoors, and nice outdoor seating too. Sometimes offers music on their outdoor deck! Very nice proprietor! Very little wait time to order! Quaint and picturesque! Located on the Petaluma River Turning Basin!

The B Street Omelette and Mocha were excellent. The employees were incredibly friendly and their service was wonderful. Just be prepared to wait a bit for your food if you go during prime times.

Wonderful restaurant to come for any and all occasions. The menu choices are extensive, to say the least! The quality is outstanding. The atmosphere is bright and cheerful. The owner is so accommodating. Service is always doing their best. I look forward to every visit!

Superior and friendly service, the omelets ( Greek, Veggies and meat ones) were all fresh, delicious and tasty. The crispy hashbrown was crispy outside and soft and fully cooked inside. The buttermilk pancakes were fluffy and airy and light. Had a great experience.
