Dark roasts, great vibes. Didn’t try the goth latte but very cool idea.
Staff was awesome and super nice and the place looks great. Also shoutout to the young kid who took our orders, might’ve been the owners son, but what a professional!

If you’re looking for lightly roasted specialty coffee, maybe a fruity single origin anaerobic as a pour over, this isn’t the place. I tried the batch brew (black) and it was pretty dark but definitely pairs well with milk. Espresso is also good but more traditional (dark chocolate flavor profile), but I only tried it as a macchiato (which had more milk than I expected and was closer to a cortado).
They only offer WHOLE and OAT milk, just a heads up. (No almond etc).
This is all mostly subjective taste preference, the coffee is good nonetheless.

I wish I got a photo of the menu (it’s not on their website either even though there’s a ‘Menu’ button), but the Tea was my favorite thing here! I got an elderberry tea (comes hot or iced) and it was super refreshing on a hot day.

Unique taste and texture on the Goth Latte. Delicious! The regular latte is also perfect, so smooth and rich. Really glad they are hear, cheers to the future!

That orange cardamom latte is a good mood in a cup. Its so damn good. Their coffee and teas are so good.

The baked items have been a disappointment so far, except for the rhubarb danish. I had a lemon bar that had a raw crust and it was sad. The scones are on the British dry side. I hope the bakery can get a little bit better.

I'm excited to have another new coffee place in town! We bought way too much on our first visit because we just couldn't decide what to get!! We got a cookie, onion egg tart (I'm forgetting what this is called) and two truffles from the Fudge Shop! I love that they are carrying treats from local places!!!

The aesthetic inside is also very attractive, I love the way all the loose teas (20 or more) are in xl ball jars and lined up so you can see all the different options!

They also have lots of gifts! I ended up buying a pair of earrings the second time I stopped by (next day). Chocolates, roll on mood perfumes.

And also, the coffee was great! And son was the service! I got a lavender latte! Glad to have a new place to stop on my way into Flemington!!!

went in this lovely coffee shop this morning for a bit of studying - got the orange cardamom latte and a croissant and they were both incredible! the lady that was working the front was also super kind and friendly , even going out of her way to walk and personally hand peoples orders to them. definitely will be going back when i can.

Delicious coffees, teas and baked goods. Everyone is super helpful and pleasant. Look forward to attending more events as well. Very unique and just a fun coffee shop to hang out in.

The coffee is amazing!!!! It’s definitely the main attraction. This space is perfectly curated & I’m sooo grateful to Alkemy for bringing this type of space to our neighborhood.

Bonus tip: try the macarons!!!! :)

Always a great, and kind, experience at this coffee shop. I love the unique space inside a pottery shop and kiln, and the friendly nature.

Gorgeous coffee shop. Delicious goth lattes and excellent, friendly service. Plentiful free parking as well.

While this place isn’t open yet, I met one of the owners reading Haberdashery Quarterly out front. I can tell this coffee place will have the kind of fedora-positive/Panama-hat-inclusive vibe that has been sorely missing from “other” coffee shops in the area.

The cappuccino was outstanding and the butter scones are amazing! Love the vibe of this place!

The bad reviews are only coming from the people who are salty about the place before it closing so don’t listen to them! It’s a good place run by good people with good product!

I didn't know this place existed, but it's quite nice! Good selection of coffee and pastries, interior is spacious. Great for WFH.

Just had a latte but it was excellent. The pastries looked awesome, they a rhubarb pastry that looked amazing, even though I didn’t have any. Nice space.
