The Kind Bean

We drive by this place every day but never stopped in. We finally decided to head in and we were amazed by the clean environment, friendly and helpful staff, and delicious food and drinks! The scones are the soft kind (soooo good, we’ve tried multiple kinds and haven’t been disappointed yet). This place cranks! Lots of devoted customers coming in and out. Awesome patio too with clean tables. Only downside is the tinted windows.. they kept us from trying it out for so long because we couldn’t see what was going on inside. Highly recommend trying out Kind Bean!

The wife and I love supporting small family businesses, and let me tell you! Hands down the best breakfast burrito and breakfast pizza in town! Never had potatoes on a pizza I was skeptical but what a game changer! The food was hot, crispy, and so delicious. We ordered the nitro coffee and Pomegranate Iced Tea, sorry no photos of the drinks we already drank them. If you need a pick me up definitely get the nitro, not to sweet and you can definitely taste the coffee! The Owners Jen & Clay were extremely friendly and eager to help! If you like supporting small businesses I highly recommend this awesome little coffee shop! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

First time here Jenn & Clay are ABSOLUTELY wonderful there customer service is definitely amazing I drove from Casa Grande just to come in & get a bite to eat! If you have never been here you gotta try it! I will DEFINITELY be back!! Thank you guys again! I absolutely love their pomegranate green tea & there country burrito!!!

Today our first time, Clay and his staff have amazing customer service, the bakery taste like what it is, home made, delicious¡¡. The coffee and all the teas are very tasty. We will go back soon.

This is the best coffee shop! Amazing coffee, food and people. So happy they are doing lotus drinks now, so my non coffee loving husband can get his caffeine fix as well! Win win! We recommend the Green Chile Burrito and the Tomato Basil Toast.

I think I found the best coffee shop experience in America. Kind Bean has wonderful coffee and the gluten free Turtle Scone was amazing. But most of all, the owners were present, staff exceptional and the customer engagement truly impactful. What's best, "kindness" wasn't a quote but a real value being lived out. If you are a CEO of any company visit and observe. Then bring your team in here to observe. Chances are, you will learn something more than coffee. I dare you, check it.out.

I finally got to come after hearing so many good words about this place from the vegan community! They truly deserve all the 5 stars!
I enjoy the simple, yet detailed interior. Customers can tell the owners put a lot of work in the theme and decorations. The establishment is clean and welcoming. The owners are very sincere, they always address customers by their names, even when this was my first time there. I had their Tomato Basil and BBQ kidney beans toasts. Both are fresh and delicious. All of their coffee/ drinks can be made by the choice of almond/coconut/soy milk. All of their pastries are vegan. I especially like they have a a definition of KINDNESS up on the wall, that includes kindness to animals, and the cute mini animal painting on the bathroom wall.

We don’t live in this area but we’re looking for a sweet treat that was vegan & gluten free because of food allergies and the kind bean hits the mark! My kiddo got the cinnamon roll which is vegan & she hasn’t been able to have one ever & I got the chocolate scone which 😋 our drinks are also sooooo good! And not to mention too the fact that they were so helpful in explaining everything to us! Thank you so much to the kind bean!

Great little vegan Cafe with delicious pastries, breakfast foods, smoothies and specialty drinks. Staff is very friendly and very efficient. It's busy but it moves fast. Definitely going back.

Really wanted to like this place...after reading the reviews and driving past it so many times. Stopped in after grocery shopping today. Their in-store menu has more items than their on-line menu.

I had already had all the coffee I needed for the day, so I didn't get any here. But I did have the Loaded Burrito for brunch. The tortilla had a nice crackery crunch on the outside, while the inside was soft and contained the fixins well. The flavor of the contents was mostly savory but also very subtly sweet, and the homemade salsa added a nice, fresh kick to the cooked contents.

Then I had a Lemon Scone, which was still very warm. The lemon was a nice balance of lightly tart and not overpowering. The texture was like a very soft, fluffy, moist biscuit. All in all, a delicious, not overly sweet scone which I enjoyed very much.

Then I had a Chocolate Chip Scone (yes, all in 1 sitting). This, too, was still very warm. The texture was about the same as the lemon scone, with the addition of sugar crystals on top and of course chocolate chips inside, which were slightly melted. Again, a soft, fluffy, most biscuit with great flavor and not overly sweet.

Also took home 2 peanut-butter cups, which are in the refrigerator. No way I could eat them after all the other food. But I will be trying those later (today or tomorrow).

Met the owners, Clay and Jen, and one other staff person. Everyone is very friendly and service oriented.

So as I mentioned, I really wanted to like this place, but I don't...I love it! As a vegan, I highly recommend The Kind Bean to both vegans and non-vegans alike; and I will certainly be back! (Have to try some of the coffee, after all!)

Wanted to try a local coffee shop this morning and glad this option came up close to my destination. Great friendly service. Mint mocha hit the spot. Cinnamon swirl was DELICIOUS. Soft with just enough cinnamon and sugar glaze. Not too sweet but could be because I ate it with coffee. Other selections looked great and I over heard people around me exclaiming how good their food was to. Looking forward to my next trip back.

Really neat little cafe/bakery. They have good coffee at a cheaper than average price. Numerous sweat treats available along with breakfast items. I had the overnight oats and the peanut butter and chocolate scone with a black coffee. Everything was very good. I met the owners and they were very nice.

I love the concept and the coffee. The world can use more coffee and companies that have a focus on kindness and truly providing a service that feels that kindness is one of their core values.

The lemon cookie was soft and delicious and my mint mocha came out perfect. This is a welcome addition to this neighborhood. I talked to the staff a little bit and had a really fun time while they told me about the concept.

The business is located in a strip mall right in between Panda Express and Subway. Go there and enjoy some kind vibes and coffee. I will be back.

Incredible! The owners are the most kind people ever. The coffee is fantastic! The baked goods and bruschetta are phenomenal! Couldn’t ask for a better shop in chandler! I’ll never go anywhere else. A+

WOW! 🙌🏻 So happy we stopped in and grabbed a coffee and a treat before heading out of town! We got the vanilla rosebud scone and the mocha Java Scone, and an iced almond lavender latte! The coffee was great! The cones were some of the best I’ve ever had! They were so moist and didn’t leave your mouth dry! They said they have different flavors every day too! So many options for coffee! Can’t wait to be back!

The Kind Bean! They live up to their name with both their kindness and their coffee. I first arrived from a search for a muffin and I keep coming back to find great coffee and great company. If you are in need of anything to drink or a great variety of breakfast options please give Kind Bean a visit. Thank you for all you do and how you uplift the community!

Surprise! A coffee shop that has a great normal vibe and doesn’t need a bar with baristas telling you their life story. I really enjoyed the “drip” which was a Guatemalan roast. Great fresh stuff here. I’m recommending it to all my friends and will frequent this place myself. I had the PB&J. My friend had bananas foster. Super bad ass!

Heard great things about this place before, and though it's about 30mins from our house we decided to check it out. First love the vegan treats, I'm always looking for good vegan place. Coffee was superb. So much better then basic places like Starbucks. Cinnamon roll was divine. The ladies were warm and welcoming. We are definitely coming back again. Might try one of their ready meals next time.
