Lady Bug Tea Room

To celebrate my girlfriend's/partner's birthday we chose to drive 1.25 hours each way (through 4 counties) to experience the Lady Bug Tea Room. It was well worth the drive! Four courses of sumptuous, delectable foods along with a great assortment of tasty teas made our visit a memorable one . . . and Millie and her staff made the experience even more delightful. We will be back . . . with friends!

I went to the Lady Bug Tea Room last Fall with a large group. It is located in the heart of Berlin, PA in a beautiful Victorian. We were welcomed by the entire Lady Bug family. We immediately got to pick out our own teapots and teacups, and the collection is massive! We were given our tea menu, and each tea has a special story, named after members of the family. Each person gets to choose two types of teas to try throughout the experience. They also had an awesome homemade pumpkin iced tea.

All of the courses were absolutely delicious: hot and cold hors d'oeuvres, soup and scones with homemade jam, salad and desserts. I was surprised at how full I was by the time we were done. I couldn't get enough! The food was definitely the highlight of this experience for me. Everything was made fresh and local. I highly recommend this for large or small groups, even if you don't like tea!
