The Ainsworth - Hoboken

Really can’t complain. The service was excellent. Our waitress was very sweet. The drinks were decent- we got the seasonal flight. The food was pretty good. It was a very cold and rainy day during the week and we had a relatively early dinner. So the crowd was minimal, making for a cozy atmosphere.

Food was great, service was excellent, music was diverse but fantastic. Sophia greeted us with a smile, and took our order tonight. She was always there when we needed her and was overall very pleasant. All around though, the staff was really nice, the wait to place our order was fast, but not too fast, water was always available, an extra table was provided when we needed it, and above all, we didn’t feel rushed, despite coming so late. Unfortunately we came 8 minutes before the kitchen closed so we didn’t have much time to digest the menu, however what we did decide on was fantastic. I only wish we came sooner, but we will be back again!

I had heard about this legendary Mac & cheese burger so NATURALLY I had to see what is was about and it did NOT disappoint! So many other great items including the bacon egg & cheese dumplings and the penne vodka !

The margarita flight was also fun & delicious and the watermelon sangria ! The vibes are spot on here too !

Great location, great service, above average food. Our party of four dropped by for lunch and there was a large menu to choose from: salads, sandwiches, tacos, pizza and more. The indoor seating was dim (with dark leather seats, chandeliers), spacious and clean. Our bartender/waitress did a fantastic job managing multiple tables, refilling waters, making drinks, all while making sure our order was done correctly. The food was executed nicely.

A Unique Outdoor Dining Experience!

Looking like a certain off duty DC Superhero as I walked by multiple unhappy campers in Hoboken paying excessive rents...I located a place that would make anyone happy after a 4 mile walk and visit: The Ainsworth, Bar & Grill. Ordered: Classic Burger with Fries, Angry Orchard Hard Cider and water. Yes our waitress was superb! I also witnessed a certain curvy individual struggling to recapture their pet bird which I thought was fascinating entertainment to observe as I completed my meal. Now, back to the meal! The delicious Classic Burger was well done and cooked to my exact requirements, the fries were above average. The bun was soft and the pickel was crisp. Angry Orchard in the glass tasted a bit better than bottled. I'd never had an Orchard poured into a glass, so this was a unique outdoor dining ordeal. Definitely recommended especially if unrelated outdoor bird catching is part of the free bonus viewing experience! Enjoy the photos!

Jay was amazing today. He was attentive, and let us enjoy our St. Patty’s Day debauchery! The service was never lacking, and he even indulged us in table side conversation.

We hosted a celebration in the back room. Sam and Rose were the best, attentive and communicative. The staff was ready to make accommodations for whatever we needed and just genuinely pleasant people. Thanks for a great event!!

I'm so happy we decided to host our corporate team dinner at The Ainsworth. I must have changed the number of guests a half a dozen times and then when we got there, the group was very social and wanted to move around the table to have different conversations and the manager and staff helped us to move to a private area in where they set up tables special for us so we could have more space. With 16 folks total, the staff didn't miss a beat with delivering recommendations for food and treated everyone with the highest level of customer experience. We will definitely be back and I highly recommend The Ainsworth! Outside of that, the location and views of the city skyline were breathtaking! Thank you for a great evening and event!

We had my sister’s surprise birthday party here everybody was great the service was amazing. The food was great. The atmosphere was fantastic. Everybody was so nice so polite, the best.

I love the Sangria flight! Food is great too! This might be one of my favorite bars in Hoboken! Great atmosphere near the waterfront! Recommended!

I really enjoy coming here and sitting at the bar, I always make sure I get the chicken pesto sandwich, it comes highly recommended and is always very satisfying. The bar service is always attentive and on point. Great spot for food or even a sporting event. Def check it out

Presentation of food was nice but the chicken pesto sandwich was super dry when it was served and the sweet potato fries were cold by the time I got it. Wanted to love the atmosphere but the music was simply too loud for an early dinner at 4pm on a Saturday.

This is the third time I have been to the Ainsworth. The food keeps bringing me back. Tonight we had an amazing server, Rosemarie. She was attentive, gave extra napkins without having to ask, and had a caring persona. I highly recommend you request her as your server!

Nice chilled places prices are good but again the location and view are all included in those prices. so well worth it the food was fresh the Mac and cheese fries where amazing the tacos that my partner had were great as well and not small like other places. The burger which I order well done was very fresh. I visited on a Sunday night found the service rather fast which is always a good thing.

With best NYC views and they had good drinks in their menu and must try is Dog Fisher 60 minute. This place has rustic theme inside, must visit place.

Went out for a girls night and because of the service and vibe at The Ainsworth it was an amazing night and one for the books! We had the best service from our waiter Alex who ensured we had everything we needed and more. He was beyond attentive, always ensuring we had drinks and food. Many restaurants I go to the wait for your next drink or struggling to find your server is always an issue Not with Alex! The vibe was fun, and the music was always playing a fun mix. It was the best mix of bar and restaurant! The drinks were awesome and consistently made well. Food was always delicious with a good variety. I know I will be back! THANK YOU!

Didn't understand the poor reviews of this place. We had an outstanding lunch on Sunday. Rosemary was our server and she was on top of everything and did great. Even all of the other servers and bussers helped by keeping the table clear, refilling water/coffee. Menu was also outstanding.
