Food is absolutely divine. Everytime. All dishes are prepared with care and attention to detail. The staff exhibits the same level of care and attention to detail for the customer as the chef does with each dish. Each plate has it's unique taste. This is a go to place for special occasions as each visit is memorable.

Incredible experience. Food was raved about by all our guests, myself included. Atmosphere was magnificent, felt like we were entertaining our guests in our own home. To underscore that, the staff treated us like family. Our parents 60th Anniversary Party could not have gone better.

It is quiet, long-established, pub restaurant with American atmosphere to foteigners. Ordered sandwiches were delicious and good for the cost-effectiveness. Most of all, French fried potatoes were soft. Worth to visit again

From start to finish, it was a pleasant time. Immediately sat at our table, water within minutes and food orders placed not too long after. We ordered a cocktail and a beer that's named after the establishment. Asian salmon burger was exquisite and unique from any I've had before. If the afternoon wasn't already excellent, the Yelp app granted us a free dessert with a purchase of an entree. A few moments after the dessert was finished, the check was placed, the card given, and the receipt signed. Thank you to the Ho-Ho-Kus Inn & Tavern for a memorable brunch experience.

We came from long island after hiking Bear Mountain not knowing what to expect on a fallSaturday evening. Of course reservations are recommended on weekends. Street parking was available. We were seated at the cozy bar area. The wait staff was professional and in appropriate dress. Drinks perfect. Haddock perfect. Pecan pie should have been warmed and the pumpkin cheesecake was very sweet. Still, overall experience was very satisfying. We then headed to Old Tappan for jazz qurtet and drinks. Fantastic day and night!

Great food! The Asian style fried calamari was especially delicious. We ate in the library which was very comfortable and quaint. I definitely recommend this establishment. They have a nice outdoor patio too.

New Years Eve dinner was excellent. Great pre-fix 4 course menu. My selections were excellent. Service was spot on and table in main dining room was perfect.

Upscale brunch in a quiet environment. I couldn't help but to think how different it would have been in the days George Washington might have been there. Upscale today and likely modest back then .

I am thankful for the HoHoKus Inn for providing my family with a wonderful Thanksgiving dining experience. Due to a recent family loss, we decided to change up our tradition and eat out this year...and we are so glad we did!!! The atmosphere was homey and filled with warmth and the super star staff did an amazing job. I know how busy the restaurant was, but we never felt anything but kind, friendly and professional service from the moment we walked in the door and the food was delish!!

A friend recommended me to come here (was looking for an anniversary place). I must say WOW. It's a whole experience...the place is so quaint, historical, gorgeous, wonderful. The food....is so uniquely delicious, an amazing blend of flavors i've never would have thought existed! The drinks....just WOW. Compliments to Mr. Peter Pavone. This is the best anniversary I've had. 7 years and counting, great karma and great blessings to last us until next year! Will DEFINATELY be coming back. Highly recommended.

We hosted my bridal shower at Ho-Ho-Kus Inn & Tavern this weekend, and the event was everything I could have hoped for! I got so many compliments from guests on both how delicious the food was and how attentive the waitstaff were. Danielle, the event manager, was an absolute delight to work with the entire time. She made it incredibly easy to organize the event and customize the menu to our needs. We hosted it in their main outdoor tent. The tent has fans all around, so even in the 90 degree heat, it was breezy and comfortable inside. One lovely detail is that they work with a local baker to create custom frosted sugar cookies as favors—they came out beautifully!

I would not hesitate to host an event here in the future. We live down the street and love coming for dinner, so it was just so special to have my shower here. Thank you HHK Inn!!

Our family has hosted several intimate private parties at the HHK Inn over the years (graduations, secondary bridal showers, etc.), usually in one of the smaller rooms upstairs.

In early August we hosted our daughter's baby shower here, a private luncheon for over 35 people. This time the event was held in the main dining room downstairs. While a main dining room (and adjacent smaller room), still the party space was very private and the rooms as beautiful as usual.

The food and service were excellent. The service staff was well trained and abundant (!!!), which in today's restaurant environment is pretty remarkable! The food was delicious as ever, and all of our guests had a wonderful time.

The private dining manager, Alena, was professional and responsive in communicating about the event. It's helpful to have someone on staff with whom you can plan out every detail in order to have things run as expected.

I highly recommend the HHK Inn for a private event.

Great location, beautiful space and a menu with a good variety. Staff is sensitive to food allergies. Prices are reasonable!

I love this restaurant! I had Dover scallops, asparagus and fingerling potatoes that were unparalleled, topped off with apple crisp like my mother used to make. The servers were lovely and professional. It was a thoroughly delightful experience.

Fantastic Christmas Eve Brunch great food and service highly recommend. Warm atmosphere can't wait to get back.

Really enjoyed this place! A cozy multiple story dining setup to host semi private dining experiences in multitude of quaint rooms, bar area and throughout the inn. Great for groups of friends, family and romantic dining for two.
Nice, eclectic cocktails menu and wine list. Whether you're a meat, vegetarian or fish lover, they have it all and prepared with robust flavors.
I ordered a bunless salmon burger. Wow, what a treat!
Great service and reservations required. Didn't try their desserts, next time! Pricey but worth it.

Great experience for my October wedding. Didn't have to worry about a thing, the staff was always available and did a lovely job. Food was fantastic - they had this Autumn squash soup that was amazing and everyone was stuffed by the end (we didn't even have passed hors d'oeuvres, just a few plated things and then dinner) so several people took the rest of their meal home. It was a great presentation. We had two upstairs rooms for 12 people - first room was for the ceremony, lots of good pictures, and then the second room (Zabriskie room) for the meal.

Big bonus was they recommended a lot of vendors including our interfaith minister so I just worked off that list and it was actually very stress-free to plan this wedding. Many thanks to their staff!!
