Super great vibe. No cover fee.
We came in on a Saturday night and had a great time. The ambiance was fun, the music was great. Lovely sense of camaraderie in the bar. And lots of young people!

Good music, friendly staff, drinks that'll do the job.

The main thing I want to share, though, is that I left my sportscoat and sunglasses in the bar, and since I had to fly out early the next morning, the staff took the time and effort to MAIL them back to me. That's pretty cool, especially these days.

It’s been a long two years, but I tried to support this place as much as possible because they can’t go anywhere. They are THE hidden gem of Georgetown. Was there tonight at Asheley was mesmerizing on piano, the wine bottles were half off, and the vibes were perfect. I felt like I was in a movie.

Very fun atmosphere. For all ages. The live music is great. Drinks are good, the stools are very extreme, you'll see when you get there, not a bad thing, just very different lol. Would visit again. Parking sucks though.

Great happy hour from 5-7. Half off appetizers and $5 draft beer and wine. Fantastic staff and super lively and talented piano player. It was easy to both talk and enjoy the music: it’s not too loud like other reviewers said. We had a lot of fun singing along and requesting songs. White pizza and spinach artichoke dip were great.

What can I say about Georgetown Piano Bar? Well, I love it! I think it's one of the best bars in the area. I've known the staff and owners for years from back when they were down the street at the old Mr. Smith's. Spencer (Sunday to Tuesday and most Wednesdays) and Hunter (Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays) really do great on the piano and go out of their way to make you feel at home. The bartenders and waitstaff are equally friendly and always make sure your drink is full.

It can get a little busy on the weekends, especially during the school year, so I tend to come in more on the week nights when it's a bit more calm. Great place to bring your friends and enjoy some wonderful live music. If you know what you're doing and work it out with the piano players, they'll usually let you sing along! I've also hosted a few parties and events here and the owners and staff are very accommodating.

Oh, and don't overlook the food! It's a small menu, but the food is delicious and all freshly prepared. Surprising treat, you won't be disappointed!

Georgetown piano bar was a must do if your in the d.c. area visiting they have great live entertainment, although drinks were expensive at 10 dollars a beer still worth the expierence.

A lively little piano bar with good drinks, decent food, and amazing entertainment. If you're a fan of coffee cocktails I'd personally recommend the "Liquid Cannoli"

WARNING: If you are prone to sensory overload this place might not be the best for you. There were flashing lights the night we were there. And being a piano bar, it's inherently loud. Some might find ear plugs helpful to dampen the volume of the music without muting the performance entirely.

Really nice place. Highly recommended for a fun energetic couple/group who are into singing/karaoke (this is a song-along place). Not too crowded with seating, which I liked.

Fancy a certain song? Two piano guys take requests and play them in turns, higher tip means skip the queue :p

Menu drink variety is decent. I'd imagine they can take any special request. Prices I'd say are average. Bartenders differ individually but one is very welcoming to ask, very friendly and helpful.

Again, highly recommended!

A place for misfits and the kind alike! Fun and Non-judgmental environment. We always have a great Tim and Eric kind of time. Love this little hidden gem! Get yourself a cocktail and tip the bartender and entertainment well! 🤘

I love the concept of a piano bar and the setup where you can have two singers duel each other here. The songs I heard them play were varied, sounded good, and had unique tones to them!

The Saturday night dueling piano show was wonderful!. They actually work together rather than duel and, in my opinion, that made it feel like a concert. All kinds of music was accessible from rap to 70s rock. The opening lady was great as she played and sang jazz and showtune standards. I hope to return soon.

Came here for a friend's birthday! Very fun always. (An older bar, and underground, so those who love sun and daylight should go elsewhere.) Very centrally located in Georgetown, right off the main thoroughfare. The bar is in the middle of the room- very sunken down into the floor, but it makes the whole bar feel more open. It can get loud, so keep that in mind... Must love music!

Exactly as described. It's a piano bar. Their drinks are cutely named after famous artists. Their drinks are well proportioned, they don't cheapout on alcohol and they don't pour too much. The staff is very polite, and the pianist is absolutely fantastic. Of course there were songs he didn't know, but he accepted and preformed most requests. He has a great voice and piano skills.

PS: Even though it isn't a necessity, please tip the pianist if you request a song.

I've been visiting Georgetown Piano Bar for a while but have not had the time to review it, so here it goes. Prices at the piano bar give most Gtown competitors a run for their money quite literally, especially for top shelf drinks. The food is fantastic and prompt to arrive. The mood is always lively and the pianist make sure to Crack a joke or two keeping the people with a smile on their faces including mine. The bartenders are very fast with preparing drinks, I have never waited long for one even on crowded nights like Fridays. I highly recommend this spot for the passer by and local.

Some of my favorite memories made in D.C. were here. Such an amazing bar atmosphere. Just a good old fashioned time. Loud crowd on the weekends and killer music.

Good lord this place was a blast. Very friendly and competent staff, and the musicians could handle anything you threw at them. Ended up staying for 5 hours my first visit. Had one server who was working at least half of the entire room, which was BUSY, and she absolutely rocked! I will be talking about this place back west.
