We had the BEST time at AR Workshop KDH! The activity was fun but the owner was really amazing and she took fun to the next level! She helped us make our projects look great and had fun talking an joking with us. I highly recommend for locals and visitors!! I can't wait to go back

There is literally a project for anyone. So many fun classes. Katrina and Kim are the absolute best. I encourage you to go make memories and beautiful things!

What a fun experience at the AR workshop! I struggle with crafting projects — the team made it fun, easy, and enjoyable! I made the cutest pillow and I can’t wait to come back for another event! Great activity for birthday, girls night out, kids or time away for your self. They also have super cute already made gifts in store!

We booked a session for a group of 12 over Christmas break and had the best time! We had ages 10-60 in our group and everyone picked their own craft and had a blast! The employees were super helpful and kind. We will be back!

My husband and I attended a candle making class while vacationing in the OBX. It was our first time doing crafts together and we had a lot of fun. The AR Workshop staff was friendly and helpful with recommendations and guiding us through the process. We love our candles! There were so many wonderful and varied scents to choose from and I even got to decorate my votive topper. We also purchased a take-home kit for Halloween and had a lot of fun making that together. We highly recommend AR Workshop and will definitely be back the next time we visit the OBX. Thank you for a fun morning!

A|R workshop was a one of a kind experience that can be enjoyed by the whole family. The projects are unique and fully customizable, with knowledgeable and creative staff that makes you feel at home. They genuinely are excited to create with you and foster an atmosphere that feels more like a night out with friends than a workshop. All of the items on their website are really there to foster inspiration, if there is something specific you're looking for you should reach out and ask. It's also a great place to find unique gifts and decor. Plan to go back anytime I'm in town.

AR Workshop is a Wonderful Place to go an make a beautiful project that you will use and want to display in your home!! The Jeep Mafia Girls Group had a Blast making a variety of items. All of our projects turned out Beautiful. The instructions are clear and hands on so that your project is on point. If you an hour or a few hours try out AR Workshop for a Fun Experience!! This past weekend we hosted my daughter's 8th birthday at the AR Workshop in Kill Devil Hills and it exceeded all expectations! The kids loved the craft and the space was clean and accommodating. The entire staff is so helpful and sweet. We will absolutely be visiting again!

My friends and I went to a resin workshop and made the cutest lazy susans. They look like the oceanfront (sea and sand) and are a perfect table decoration as well as being functional. It was fun and the staff were helpful and knowledgeable.
There are so many projects you can make! They have classes every day they are open, and they have someone in the shop to help you with a project you want to make on your own.
I had a great time.

I got to paint a very nice D.I.Y obx piece and it was all high quality paint and equipment and don’t even get me started on how nice the owner and staff was :) very great experience I extremely recommend it to anyone looking for a fun creative project for the day!
