Aviation Skatepark

We call this Turtle Park because the pond is full of turtles! We bring turtle food and the kids love to watch them eat. Shady walking areas which is great in the summer.

I love that we have a place for the younger generation to hang out and be safe. The only thing that I have a problem with is how they leave the trash laying around for someone else to pick up. Nowadays recycling and throwing away our trash is very important. We only have one Earth so we should all work together to try to keep it clean especially being this close to the ocean. So I was very disappointed when I went to take my furbaby to play at the dog park and on my way there I see this.

Beginner skater review: Great park if you’re new to skating. Lot of flat in the middle to practice basics. Definitely a transition oriented park with some street features on the upper flat. Here on a summer Saturday at noon and there’s no one else - so no one else to worry about trying to learn new things, not sure if the norm

Went with my nephew and niece. Great little park, with a duck/turtle pond.

Best dog park I have ever seen. Great skate park, although I didn't participate. Nice path around the pond. Take time to walk through the arboretum too.

What a nice outdoor park and lots of other activities too. Today there were vendors set up. Nice festivities!

Fun park but not necessarily for beginners

Cool skate park with lots of flow has a nice 6 stair and a buttery flat rail and some vert had to bike 40 min from upper kitty hawk but totally worth it!

Great skate park! Very nice hockey rink with a great smooth skating surface and a super nice skate bowl.
Large dog park also.

Some debris and one section was flooded out and couldn't use but overall it was pretty good nice lil spot

Everyday after school. The kids love it! however there are some little punks up there that shouldn't be smoking and using that kind of language.

This skate park is really nice and it has a really good spot to learn how to drop in. I really progressed in my ollies moving!
