FYI- NOT A RETAIL POST OFFICE! I was trying to ship a package, turns out you cannot pay to ship stuff here. They don’t offer retail service. I’m not sure if you can ship a pre-paid package? But I do know you can’t pay for any services here. I have nothing bad to say about this place, teller was friendly, just wanted other people to know you can’t pay to ship from here.

I got a note in the mail that I missed my package. Finding the place is behind a building when you pull in to the drive, just keep on going and you will see it. They were re opening at 2pm and there was a line but it went really fast. Quick and easy. Friendly staff.

I have noticed a significant improvement. Much more helpful on phone and quickly solved my problem. I felt the person I spoke with wanted to help. Much better!

My rating is for this facility only, not about the USPS in general. My customer service has always been very good. Employees were prompt, friendly, helpful. This isn't like a typical post office where you stand on line while watching the glacial pace of the counter staff. Here, there is a buzzer to ring to call someone for assistance, unless they're already helping another customer - which is rare. I've always been the only customer and sometimes there might be one other customer. I took a star off because of the location and lack of good signage to find the building.

I filled out paperwork to get new keys for a mailbox earlier this week at the retail post office. They told me to check in here on Friday or Saturday to get my keys. I stopped in on Friday morning and they were ready to pick up. The counter guy was efficient and friendly.

Only if you have postage on your package already. Do not go here if you do not.

Have had continual issues with the Post Office not following my request to leave our Amazon packages over our fence. They don't do that, then leave me a note via Amazon, that the package was undeliverable. I call and am told that there is a 24-30 minute wait to speak to a human being. I call back the next day and find that, lo and behold, the package was delivered into the package box at the end of my road. And that couldn't be done at the first attempt? I used to have more faith in the PO, but sadly, that no longer seems to be the case.

This post office has ridiculous hours which have made it impossible for me to pick up a package of important medication. One star for being civil the one time I was able to get inside the building.

This office didn’t deliver my confirm rescheduled delivery. I had waited at home the entire day because there was no delivery window after they confirmed my redelivery, and turned they didn’t even deliver. And they have the oddest open hours, 3-hour lunch break, then closes at 4pm. The worst service ever.

This post office will not deliver my packages to the door and continue to leave slips instead for me to pick up packages at their location 30 minutes away. The USPS is the ONLY delivery service that refuses home deliveries. Amazon, UPS, FedEx, etc have no problem. On top of it the employees do not answer the phone provided. It’s unbelievable how a government service that we pay for cannot fulfill the basic mission.

So, here’s the deal. For the last five weeks we have been fighting with the Camas post office to get our mail forwarded from a PO Box to our home. We have made three visits over the course of five weeks and each time we do we are told a supervisor will call us when she is in. That woman, to do this day, has never called us. We went in earlier this week and they told us that the UPS store we are still forced to use because of them has been throwing away people’s mail and that we need to close our PO Box. With no proof to make that accusation I am concerned that a federal employee is disparaging a private business in an unsolicited manner. I don’t see that as their role.

After five weeks without mail I finally decided to call the toll free number for USPS to see if they can help. Guess what, within minutes they diagnosed the issue. The UPS store is a business and USPS can’t forward our mail to our home address unless the business puts in the transfer (which they don’t do). Again, a private business can only manually forward our mail which will cost us money (and it’s not the UPS store’s fault. At least they are bending over backwards to help us).

There are workarounds for this which we have put into place with the help of the USPS rep
I spoke with. Had the Camas post office told us that five weeks ago when they stood there and watched us fill out a change of address form we could’ve avoided all of this nonsense.

In my opinion, not only are the employees of that station inept, they simply do not care. They literally don’t. They are government employees who do their best to keep the stereotype alive. In fact I’m sure if they read this they’re going to all of the sudden “lose“ our mail all the time. But hey look on the bright side. At least the postal delivery person has started to deliver other peoples mail to our mailbox regardless of how many times we’ve provided the list of names living at our address.

They don’t even try to deliver their packages. They leave slips as many times as it takes until you get fed up and pick up your packages from their location yourself. Sometimes they say their driver attempted to redeliver but my security cameras never once captured their truck. These people do not want to deliver packages and flat out lie.

We've had multiple slips left in our rural mailbox that detail our mail was not delivered because the box was full or that delivery was attempted. These are flat out lies... they just don't want to deliver some packages to your door, forcing us to pick up at the post office in town which has terrible hours. We paid for the delivery service?

Ok so here we go again with the usps we were expecting a very important letter saw on the web it was to be delivered and of course it didn't happen so we call like anyone else and I was on hold for 20 mons and guess what they closed and just hung up on me. I was on hold the least the could have did before they ran out the door was to take my call since they pit me on hold. But of course they had to pinch out and run out the door just saying screw the customer. I hate the post office right now
