Athenian Deli & Restaurant

The Athenian Deli has been a go-to restaurant for me ever since I was little. The food is consistently delicious, especially their Greek spinach pies! A true must stop restaurant in Rhode Island.

This restaurant is a welcomed throwback to when service was top priority. The food was excellent, fresh, and cooked to order at prices that certainly are a great value. The Souvlaki pita is delicious just by itself. The head chef was super pleasant seasoned people person who was happy to take my order.
The interior is an old school cafeteria with booths and tables. The staff was polite and actively cleaning the restaurant. This is a well oiled machine. I was super happy to visit this restaurant in an area where everything is gross fast food this place shines as a gem.

Food is always excellent. The staff is always as good as the food, excellent. Always nice and clean. The price of the food for home cooked is very affordable and better than anything else. Beats eating fast food.

Food is delicious! The owner is very kind and friendly. We had chicken parm, stuffed pepper, stewed beef, and spanakopita (best from any other we've had) Hope to go back soon and try their other dishes ❤

Fantastic food and great customer service! Delicious food made in minutes (decent portion sizes too) and the restaurant has a cozy feeling. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and will definitely be stopping in again! Perfect little gem in Cranston!!

This is a great place to stop for lunch or grab something for dinner, seeing they have prepared food. We are huge fans of their spinach pies. They are delicious. If you haven't been here it's a must!

First time here. I came in especially for stuffed grape leaves. Little disappointed that they were out but the owner explain they would be making more in 3 or 4 day. He showed me some other item they had. It all good so I ordered spinach pies with phyllo dough and gyro sandwiches. Brought them home to share with my wife. Everything was excellent. Athenian gained a new customer. Excellent. Give it a try doesn't look like you will go home hungry eating in the restaurant part.

Great place for lunch or even to pick up some dinner. Er at the end of the night. All the people are very friendly. The owner greets everyone when he is serving . Love this place

The food is fantastic! I have been looking for a traditional and delicious Italian sub and I couldn't find one anywhere until now. The bread is so soft, the meats are delicious, the service is fast and the price is fantastic. There are a bunch of items I want to try here and I'm so glad we found them.
