It has been a good experience working with Whitehouse Floors on my hardwood refinishing. I did not take Lowis suggestion to do "Board Replacement" in the stain areas. They reached out to me during the process and I told them to stain the floor as you can see, my wife was not happy with me. They were able to fix this, we recommend them.

We could not be happier with our experience using Whitehouse Floors. Through every step of the process they were helpful. They explained different flooring options and offered guidance on the type of flooring based on our needs. Gwen and Lauren were friendly, knowledgeable and prompt in responding to all of our questions. Luis and his partner worked professionally, diligently and with amazing craftsmanship to create a whole new look for our home. We are so happy we chose to go with Whitehouse Floors instead of using one of the big box stores.

We have been using Whitehouse Floors for several years now to do an array of things. Trim molding, painting, and of course Flooring. Its a straight forward process, they run into issues they update with a change order and we proceed with project. We are at a point where we just tell them what we want/need and they bill us. Excellent work for an honest price (and sometimes below market pricing but dont tell them I said that :-). I recommend them to my family and they are currently working on a project at my son first house.

After going to many companies all weren't the same as Whitehouse. Everything they did was on point, don't even get me started on the scheduling between the measuring and the time the work would be done because they are great at that too! I'm happy for the work they did for my bathroom I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for the right crew to get the job done perfectly. It's small but job well done!

I called on a whim on a Tuesday to see if they could get something done before the painters where scheduled to arrive a week later. WHF mobilized on that Friday and were finished by Sunday.

The floors came out great and the work was fast and thorough.

Whitehouse Floors did an excellent job refinishing and staining approximately 3000 sq ft of oak wood flooring in my home. The work was done at a fair price and was completed on schedule. The nature of the work was delivered as promised (color, finish, etc.). They went above and beyond and finished some areas that I had excluded from the estimate due to budget. In order to ensure my home was beautiful, they refinished those areas within the original estimate. I was referred to Whitehouse Floors by a former customer and I will continue to refer others to this company. Highly recommend them!

We had a "flooring emergency" and needed someone to come out right away, because our house is sold, and closing is very soon !!
Woke up to find one of my dogs had piddled on the hardwood floor in the middle of the night, unbeknownst to me. When I woke up the next morning, I saw the puddle and realized right away that it had soaked into the wood and there was no way I could get it out. I called Whitehouse floors right away and Lou got back to me immediately ! He sent floor refinishers out the SAME DAY to sand and re-varnish the damaged area. When the varnish dried we noticed that it still didn't have quite the same sheen as the rest of the floor, so he sent the refinisher out AGAIN right away to add another thin layer of varnish ! The floor looks absolutely AMAZING !! You could never tell that there had been a dog-accident ! Lou and the entire team at Whitehouse floors are beyond professional and really cared about my predicament and remedied the situation (beautifully, I might add) THE SAME DAY !!
Who even does that anymore ?? Most of the time you call someone they don't even get back to you, let alone taking complete care of your issue THE SAME DAY !! I would HIGHLY recommend Whitehouse floors for all your hardwood floor needs. They are prompt, professional, courteous, and meticulous ! You can tell they really care about their customers and take extreme pride in their work !! I cannot say enough good things about Whitehouse floors !!!!!!!

I have used Whitehouse Floors on 2 separate occasions within the last few years and both times the work has come out great. They have done a combination of flooring installation, sanding and refinishing and everything has come out looking beautiful. They are fairly priced and easy to work with. I highly recommend giving them a shot next time you need flooring work.

Working with everyone at Whitehouse Floors was a pleasure. Gwen, Luis and everyone who did their magic on our floors were professional and extremely skilled. We appreciated that they had several different professionals who specialized in various aspects of the floor refinishing — sanding, staining and finishing. Each showed up when they said and performed their jobs with care. We had one particularly challenging old floor and a guest recently commented that the re-finished floor is a work of art. So happy!

Whitehouse Floors completed my project under budget and ahead of schedule. My home includes three full floors of hardwood flooring. The team from Whitehouse Floors was able to install all of the flooring quickly and perfectly. Of all of the professionals I required to build a home from the ground up in Tewksbury, NJ, Whitehouse Floors was the most professional and easiest to work with. They did an excellent job installing new wide-plank oak floors in my lower unit and refinishing the existing floors in my upper unit.  He gave a very reasonable quote and was able to finish the job quickly.  When I needed him to do some extra work, he came out at the last minute to get the job done.  Excellent quality and service!

My husband and I purchased an old victorian home and we wanted to restore the original hard wood floors. They not only did an amazing job but the day before they started, we changed the color of the stain we wanted for the floors. They were very accommodating and the job came out perfect! Really beautiful job in refinishing my floors! The team was at my home as scheduled and the work is really gorgeous. My only suggestion would be that I would have appreciated more regular status updates since I had to move out of my house for the week while the work was ongoing. Their prices were great and the team was a pleasure to work with.

Had carpeting removed from our living room and hardwood floor added and weaved into the rest of our first floor. The floors came out seamless, you would never be able to tell there was new flooring added to existing. We chose a custom color too which Luis was able to match perfectly to what we were looking for. Very satisfied with the project and results!

The team at Whitehouse Floors were great in helping me replace a ruined slate tile floor with a beautiful prefinished wood plank product! They were flexible with my demo and install dates and provided me with a fabulous new floor!

I had the greatest experience working with Whitehouse Floors. Luis and Gwen are incredibly knowledgeable and they bent over backwards to accommodate so much for me. Their transparency was refreshing! Luis isn't one of those contractors who tells you what you want to hear so he can simply snag you as a client. I have had home improvement men tell me what I want to hear and they never disagreed with me! I am not a professional so I would think opinions and disagreements are a positive necessity towards creating a beautiful room, no? The ones who always say "yes, we can do that, whatever you want, however you want" worry me. Luis will tell you the TRUTH even if he knows by doing so there's a chance of losing you to someone who says they "can do it." He will even tell you "so and so can do this which is close to what you're looking for, but you'll end up coming back to have me fix it" lol....I was at the store when someone who did exactly that, came back, tail between their legs asking Luis to fix the now even BIGGER mess lol. You can tell he cares about his and his teams craft and he will not put his name to anything that looks horrible, no matter how much money you throw at him.
I spoke with him often and you can see he would rather lose a client because he was honest, rather than only caring about dollar signs. He states his opinion, which in my eyes, being that I'm not a professional in the flooring/home remodeling business, it's priceless.
But my favorite quality of theirs, out of the many they possess, is their tenacity, their refusal to give up! When things got unexpectedly difficult, they didn't give up and walk away. As with many home construction/remodel, hiccups occur. They ran into difficulties that seemed impossible to correct. I am positive that any "Man in a Van" type would have abandoned me and the job, but Luis and Gwen made sure everything was addressed properly as quickly as possible.
Gwen was always accessible before, during and after operating hours. Luis stayed late into the night working to fix the problem the ORIGINAL contractor somehow created! I absolutely LOVE my bathroom now! The tile on the wall.... SUCH A GORGEOUS JOB! And the tile on the floor is perfect! Keep in mind, WHF doesn't ONLY do flooring! Luis gutted and rebuilt the entire bathroom from the studs up! Installed the walls, cabinets, shower, toilet etc! Think of it as Whitehouse Floors and MORE!

I have been using Whitehouse floors for over 10 years. When the owernship changed hands, I was suprised at the way the show room appeared. It was dirty and there were pieces of wool thrown around. the new owner also did not seem to care. I think I loved the place so much because of the old owner Tim. He made me want to buy my flooring with him. The new owner would not even stay open past 5. It is very unfortunate, buy I will no longer use Whitehouse floors.
