This place is so cute and cozy. The coffee & pastries are all handmade by zuzu (one of the owners). Atmosphere is like being a grandmas house and or that 70s show setup. Super chill and music is perfect. A great place to recharge or just make some new friends. Forgot to mention but the hiking in the back and all around is amazing. The Dinosaur tracks are close by to visit and BLM. Definitely take a visit to this place.

What a fun place. This is a must stop when you are in Kanab. Weekend fun and live music. It has such a cool vibe with local artists and crafts for sale. The food is great and the people are friendly and welcoming. Stay for an hour a night or a week but you better plan ahead because spots fill up fast. Always look for local activities happening in the library.

The staff and service at Nomad is unparalleled. If you’re passing through, it’s worth the stop to chat with the friendly folks there and get an interesting coffee creation. They have great recommendations for the area, and access to the Dinosaur Tracks trail. A must-visit for any traveler.

What an incredible find!!!

The coffee was incredible. (We got 2 hot vanilla lattes). I bought a pound of coffee to bring back.

The owner and staff were so so kind! We hiked up to the mesa behind the shop and saw dinosaur tracks and tail drags! It was unbelievable. We had 14 of us between our two families with kids ages 3-15 and were able to do the hike.

It’s a must stop each time we are out this way!

The Nomad cafe is a really nice place where everyone can enjoy a relaxing and artistic atmosphere. The Cafe is filled with cool and interesting stuff like arcade cabinet games and fun constructions made out of metal junks. The food is good and the people who work there are nice and friendly. Definitely worth a stop.

What a gem! Hands down best coffee in Kanab (we had some real disappointments in other places) - and an inviting, relaxing and artsy atmosphere. They're passionate about what they do and it's palpable. We'll be back every day we're in the area!

The scones are always fabulous! The crocheted items are beautiful. There is also awesome artwork by Patsy Blackburn of Fredonia. The drinks have been great each time we have been there. What an awesome new place for breakfast n lunch. They have had a few open mic nights, which have been successful. The surroundings are freaking beautiful. 😀🥰

Stopped here looking for the Dinosaur tracks trail head. So glad we did!! Lovely people working here, cool vibe and I wish we were staying in the vintage RVs. We have found our people.

This place is an experience. Jason and Zuzu's energy and creativity and love are... this place, along with the land it sits on, the idea of what is happening. I met so many cool people while I was here, and stayed the night in a cool trailer. See you again soon!

Great little espresso and coffee shop. The owner is very nice, helpful, and friendly. My wife and I had the Latte and it was excellent.
Highly recommend.

My family and I took a vacation from North Dakota and drove up to Kanab from Vegas to do some exploring of an aww-inspiring place over the weekend. The Nomad was my first stop the next morning as I was in need of a boost... I gotta say Jason and ZuZu, made me 2 great cups of coffee, and some excellent conversation. I brought my wife and kids back shortly after so they could experience the great atmosphere. I hope to visit again some day! Awesome people :)

Nomad Cafe is my go-to place for my morning caffeine and pastry, hanging with friends, or enjoying engaging special events. Their rotating menu of food is always expanding and thoughtfully includes vegan options. Some of their regular vegan breakfast choices include scones, pumpkin bread, and zucchini bread, all made fresh, in-house daily.

Jason and Zuzu are incredibly welcoming and are always happy to chat if you want to learn more about the area or talk about interesting ideas. It’s a great place to hang out and feel at home— the atmosphere is like a quirky living room complete with a cool library for guests to enjoy.

Follow them on Facebook or Instagram to find out about special events like Open Mic night every other Thursday and other special speaker series.

I’m a local so don’t need a place to stay, but if you’re looking for affordable and unique accommodations, they can’t be beat with a variety of trailers including vintage Airstreams and geodesic domes with amazing private views of the red rock canyons.

I really appreciate that they are always inclusive of vegans, with oat, coconut, and almond mill available for coffee/tea drinks and lots of tasty pastries and meals!

While we didn’t eat here. (It was closed at the time) the owner Jason took plenty of time to help a few Chicago girls get to some dinosaur footprints!

We weren’t sure what we were in for when we approached the sign that boasted “Cafe, Food, Cold Drinks, and Dinosaur Tracks” and honestly anticipated a kitschy little display behind the building.

Well, we were in for a surprise when Jason told us they were actually going to be on top of the mesa a little ways down from his cafe! We definitely did not think we were up for it but his passion and enthusiasm around the land and everything it represents was contagious and we decided to give it a try.

Most of the walk was pretty easy until the last third in which Jason told us to “scurry up to the top” and scurry we did. After making it to the top we got the privelage of seeing something I honestly never thought would be possible for me! Dinosaur Tracks! On top of the fact it was an incredible view.

Jason’s welcoming attitude, enthusiastic nature, and kind and encouraging words led us to our favorite experience of our trip.

So thank you Nomad Cafe! We cannot wait to send me your way and support you next time we are in town!

Jason and Zuzu have put their heart and soul in to this place and it shows!

This small, off the highway spot is a local hangout that draws in such a cool and eclectic group.

The trailers and RVs are cleaned up and looking really cute. Surrounded by the beautiful red rock, and set back just far enough from the highway that the traffic isn't drowning out the conversation. The central community fire pit is going to be such a great hang out space.

The cafe!
Incredible drinks. The drip coffee and espresso is always delicious. I recommend a Golden Milk latte - it's my favorite. Kolaches and other pastries to snack on, and vegan options!

A Pinball machine, Pac-Man arcade, turntable with eclectic record selection and several cozy spots to hunker down with friends on a chilly morning.
The cafe space reminds me of the artsy coffeeshops in LA, combined with the bohemian student lounge on a liberal arts campus.

Lighted outdoor patio seating on one side, a funny view of the chicken coop on the other.

Open Mic nights, dance parties, and community yard sale events too - this is truly a hub for finding community.

100% wish Jason and Zuzu the best with this operation. I will definitely be a regular.

Probably the best café I've ever been to; I might have stayed too long!

The food is all made from scratch, as far as I can tell, and is very delicious.

The owners are very hospitable and friendly, and the way they've furnished the place is incredibly comfortable and welcoming.

I'll definitely be coming here again next time I'm near Kanab!

Coffee and Kolaches! Love em! You have to stop at this spot, the owners are super friendly and the food is amazing. The coffee that they use is legit good. We had a tree hugger and every flavor of kolache, they were awesome!

This is a great cafe that offers excellent coffee and food, and has a relaxing vibe that allows you to hit the pause button for a bit and be human. The folks at the Nomad are super inviting and leave you with a warm feeling. Be sure to stop and enjoy all that they offer at the Nomad!

When we pulled up, I wasn’t too sure that I’d be able to find something delicious to eat. Well, I shouldn’t have worried. Not only was my coffee amazing, I had, without exaggeration, the absolutely most delicious Kolache I have ever had. It was so perfect, I went back and ordered another so I could share it with my group. I only feel bad that they’ll never have a better one.

The people were amazing, and incredibly gracious. I had a great conversation with Ivory, and the owners were awesome. There was a great track playing on the sound system, but one of the owners turned it off and let the kids play his guitar, and even tipped them.

Go here if you want an excellent coffee, and if you want to feel loved. (And don’t we all want to feel loved?)

Amazing experience you are looking to have in Kanab. At the base of the Dinosaur Tracks Trail, you can grab a quick bite and coffee at a relaxed space similar to being hosted at your friend’s house. Records galore to choose from and warm company from the staff highlighted this stop for us through Utah!
