Bare Bones Tattoo

Came here to get a tattoo and had the best experience. Hands down the best tattoo shop I’ve ever been to. The shop was welcoming and very clean. The tattoo artists were so kind and respectful. Claudio did a great job on my tattoo that I requested. I highly recommend this tattoo shop to anyone who is looking for ink.

This place is the BEST! My friend and I spontaneously popped in for tattoos after a day on the beach, and we are SO HAPPY with our tattoos. Claudio was so kind and patient with us, and brought our visions to life perfectly. If you're looking for a fine-line expert, Claudio is your guy!

I’ve been to Bare Bones a couple of times already, and I really recommend it! I was tattooed by Claudio and he did a really good job and was very attentive to my wants and my tattoos all healed very nicely and are definitely my favorite. He made me feel really comfortable and overall just made me have a really good experience. I would definitely check out the shop. Everyone there is so nice and talented! 10/10!

Absolutely love this place. I got my first tattoos with Claudio and he is truly the best. Made me feel super comfortable and was very patient when it came to me wanting to play with the stencils and placements of my tattoos. The shop is really clean and not to mention they play good music. My experience of getting my first tattoos were great thanks to Barebones. 100% recommended going to them if you are looking for someone who will perfect your tattoos.

Jason was amazing. I gave him a vision on what I wanted and he delivered. He was visiting from up North, however, all the guys there were great. He drew the tattoo free handed. One of the only shops in Laguna Beach where you could just walk in and have a tattoo done without an appointment.

My experience at Zane’s shop was amazing! I was super nervous and scared about getting a tattoo but after speaking with Zane, I felt at ease. He explained everything perfectly and was really patient with me as this was my first tattoo. I am so happy with my tattoo and it was not as painful as I had imagined. His shop is super clean. My husband and I are so happy that our tattoo experience on our honeymoon was at Zanes. If I am ever back in the area, I will definitely be back for another one! Go see Zane, you will not be disappointed!

Zane is amazing. First off, his shop is super clean. He is easy to work with as he listened to my vision and adjusted his designs to my preferences. For as painful as tattoos can be, Zane made me feel comfortable and had a surprisingly light hand. He added on to a large piece on my upper arm and incorporated a floral design to an old tattoo on my forearm. I highly recommend this shop and I will be back. Thanks Zane!

Cant say enough good things about my experience here. My wife and I are from the East coast but was traveling from SD - We decided to commemorate our honeymoon with a tattoo. We arrived close to closing time but Zane welcomed us with a smile and hospitality. Super professional & down to earth. We had some great conversations and made my wife’s first tattoo a pleasant experience. We were both happy with the work and would highly recommend their service to anyone in the Laguna Beach area.

These guys are amazing. It’s a beautiful shop right on the 1. Great lighting and very safe. The artists are extremely talented and the energy is amazing. Zane is our artist and he’s done a few things for my girlfriend and I. He’s so happy and positive all the time, it’s hard not to be excited with him. He did a hummingbird for me recently and it’s easily the best piece I’ve had done. Before him I’d had each piece done by someone different. He’s the first artist that’s ever done a second piece on me. We’re going back next weekend. I can’t wait!!

I came in for my first tattoo and was greeted and made to feel comfortable immediately. I told Zane what it was I wanted and then proceeded to draw it for me, when he came from the back the design was absolutely perfect. I got tattooed, which is better than I would have ever imagined and now I want more. I will definitely be back again sooner than later and will make sure to tell everyone I know that Bare Bones Tattoo is the best place to go in the area

Welcoming environment, even for my husband who has never had a tattoo. They were patient and drew us these perfect tattoos from a few descriptions we gave them. Their care packets were such a great touch and we really appreciated the travel lotions because we were out of town and had a plane ride back home. Line work was exceptional and their prices were very reasonable for the area. We just walked in and left very, very happy!

10/10 would recommend! Jake is a killer artist and never disappoints. Awesome vide in the shop weather you are new or back for more after begging your wife to lift the tattoo embargo!

Love my new tattoo! I felt comfortable and the artist are respectful. They worked with me on getting what I wanted on my arm, I had so many ideas in my head lol. I would totally recommend this shop to friends and family! I will be returning for my back piece soon!

Really appreciate everyone over at bare bones. No matter what day or what time I go in for a new tattoo they always welcome me and my friends in and take care of us like we’re family. Always will appreciate them to the fullest! Tattoos always come out amazing no matter which artist it is. Zero complaints whatsoever

Best experience here ever. The shop is very clean and is not intimidating like some other shops. The owner Zane is a very accomplished artist and will be the only one to do my tattoos. Everyone who works there is very easygoing and likable.

Not only do they do amazing work, but everyone there is super friendly and you always feel great vibes when you walk in. I can’t imagine anywhere else I’d get a tattoo! The biggest issue with this place is parking, so if you’re not lucky enough to get a spot at the PCH, you’d have to park in the neighborhood adjacent to the shop.
