The name of this restaurant is a bit cheeky, but it's all in good food and fun! We went here for happy hour! The House red wine is delicious. I really loved the simple salad, so much to the point that I bought all the ingredients at the store and similar lemon vinaigrette! The crispy Brussels sprouts tasted almost as good the one from Humboldt Kitchen + Bar, which has closed. We also loved the fries, and tacos! Can't wait to go back!

Ok this place is absolutely wonderful. Awesome atmosphere - great service. Noah was adorable, entertaining and very attentive. Every item that came out was beautiful and equally tasty. We chose to go with several appetizers two entrees and a dessert. Plenty of food for the three of us and happy with each choice. The ONLY part of our experience that I wasn’t happy about was the 22% service charge on our check that states it’s a service included concept - however I asked several people and the servers don’t get the 22% - I would much rather see the charge not be there and allow the guest to tip what I would choose to tip - which if left up to me would have been more. I tipped on top of that because I believe we were given excellent service.

This place has the best dessert!! The hot chocolate is really rich and delicious. The food is average but dessert is a must here! They have a lot of seating inside and outside. I do recommend making a reservation it gets busy.

Amazing experience. Server was polite and attentive. Food was delicious. Happy hour specials allowed us to try more than we normally would have gotten. Desserts are absolutely decadent. Even found street side parking a block away. Definitely at the top of our Denver restaurant go to list.

We really enjoyed D Bar. The happy hour is awesome. The Slider and Bacon Mac & Cheese was phenomenal. Some of the best Mac and cheese I’ve had maybe ever. For a house red wine priced at only $5, it is dang good.
-The 22% service charge. I can’t help how I feel about it. I can’t stand these 22% services charges being added at more and more restaurants. The service and food were very good so it wasn’t too big a deal for me. Will be back in again for happy hour and maybe desert next time.

Went for desserts and coffee and it was amazing! We reserved our table a week in advance and only evening time slots were available. It was all adults there and a fancier atmosphere but quite busy. Loved the restaurant and cool vibe. The plating was really nicely done and everything we ordered tasted good. Keep in mind they add a 22% gratuity to all tables, anything you leave is additional.

The waitress helped us decide which dessert to order, we had the Alaska meringue. It’s really good if you like something sweet and sour!
We also enjoyed the hot chocolate!

Pretty large, spacious. Luxury, modern, romantic atmosphere. Street parking with limited nearby garage parking. Added heated patio for even more table availability but strongly recommend the bar where you can watch the some desserts being made. Very delicious latte (with art). We tried the prix fixe 3 course dessert at $20. We chose molten chocolate cake, chocolate almond bread pudding, "paquita". Molten chocolate cake was good. Bread pudding was simultaneous and a bit dry on outer layer but ok on center. "Paquita" was such a luxurious dessert experience that is so flavorful and plethora of textures including macaroons texture, sorbet like ice cream, and freshly peeled mandarine; could be an acquired taste. Clean restroom after hall of fame hallway with hip faucet that is motion censored water and motion censored air blowing dryer on side wings.

D Bar was highly recommended by my PT. He said it's a MUST visit place when I'm in Denver. Thank you PT. I was so please with the food, service, and the atmosphere. There was life in the restaurant. You can even see the baker making the pastries and desserts. I didn't have a reservation but they made accommodation for us (husband and son). I ordered a cappuccino, grilled chicken arugula, wild cherries with candied almond salad. Omg...it was so delicious, the grilled chicken breast was tender and juicy. I finished my plate. My son got the sliders, he said it was the BEST sliders he ever had, believe me he is a food connoisseur. My husband got the breakfast burrito (this thing was huge), it was tasty!!! Their almond croissant and vanilla creme brule are to die for.
Our taste buds were so happy after our meal. Definitely will return next time we are in Denver.

We came in for the first time tonight with a big appetite for dessert and boy were we satisfied! Our server Caleb was so nice and down to earth and made sure to give us great recommendations. We sat at the dessert bar which is probably the best seat in the place because you get to see all the desserts being made to order right in front of you! Every single dessert we had was amazing. We had the Pre Fixe which was 3 courses of dessert and shared a mix of the Cake and Shake, Ch Ch Churros, Baked Alaska, and All You Knead are Pretzels. 10/10 would recommend if you have a sweet tooth and love a high quality dining experience with a really cool setting!

I enjoyed a wonderful birthday celebration at D Bar. Geoff, our wait person, couldn't have been more attentive. The food was innovative, exquisitely presented and tickled my taste buds. The menu is definitely sugar forward in a good way. The atmosphere was lively and everyone seemed like they were enjoying themselves.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Denver, I can't believe it took me so long to write a review. The atmosphere is always great, the wait staff is friendly and gives you plenty of time to enjoy your dinner. I always try the seasonal risotto and share the crispy brussel sprouts. And don't forget to always leave room for dessert, it's to die for.

The food and drinks were everything! I got the Cuban and a Lemon drop, my friends got expresso Martinis and there's a dessert shop built into it. We got macaroons, cookies and cheesecake!

Pizza Salad Sandwich is a must!! 10/10 recommend! The house champagne is delicious! And the churros are delicious!!
Only odd thing is that they have a service charge of 22%! After inquiring it is to help support the staff keeping a minimum wage. Only 3% if this goes to the server/waiter.

We still left a tip and the food was worth it!

Had a great brunch experience. Should have ordered dessert first it was so good but we barely had room! The American dream was amazing and the berry shortcake was a close second. Food was great too, the tomato soup is so so good. Great cocktails, great service, would totally recommend!

This is seriously some of the best food in Denver, maybe Colorado! My sliders were amazing but the dessert was even better, I ordered the American dream, the cake was very good and the ice cream was a nice little addition. The staff was nice and it was in a nice location highly highly recommended!

Update: I came back and tried the pizza salad sandwich and it was also delicious!

Food, service, and experience were all great. My little sister and I came by for Colorado Restaurant Week, and I am so happy we chose this place in our rotation.

For the special restaurant week menu, it was a four course meal. You had to choose an appetizer, an entree, and a dessert. The third course was set. Portions were amazing.

For the first course, we got the brussel sprouts and the crew fries. Both were amazing, but I preferred the brussel sprouts. They were seasoned perfectly and cooked for just the right amount of char, softness, and flavor. The crew fries we got were substituted to sweet potato fries for a gluten-free option. They tasted great, were not my personal favorite, but my sister loved them.

For the second course, my sister got the taco dish, and I got the asparagus risotto with chicken added. It was phenomenal. The flavor profile was well balanced, and the meal was delicious and filling. It was good with the coctail I ordered too, the bees knees I believe it was called. Neither were overpowering. Overall, it is an amazing balance of flavors in all parts.

The third course was a small pre dessert. For my sister, it was a light custard with a small pice of cake, a passion fruit ice cream, pineapple, and some cookie crumbles, I believe. For me, it was the custard, ice cream, and the pineapple to make the dish gluten-free. It was amazing for us both.

The fourth course was dessert. Our choice was a gluten-free lava cake and a creme Brule. Both were amazing in flavor and a good size. These desserts alone would be a reason to come.

Overall, the food was fantastic. The flavor of all the dishes was great and not overpowering. Every dish was well balanced. I will be returning in the future.

Our group of girls had an amazing experience here for a bachelorette party tea time! We came on a Saturday afternoon and it was not too crowded. Service was a bit slow but tea time is leisurely anyway.

The tea snacks (sweet and savory) were great! The desserts were of course exceptional considering they are D Bars specialty and the scones were some of the best I've had. The tea I felt was average but it was nice to have several options and get our own pots. They were also good about providing cream and sugar and water refills.

For $35 per person we felt it was really worth it and we even had enough leftovers for breakfast!

Excellent food and excellent dessert! I was taken here by my girlfriend for my birthday and it was amazing. We showed up with a reservation at 915 and stayed well after closing with no rush. The food was delicious I'd recommend the waffle chicken sandwich. I got a sparkler on our dessert and it was epic!

D Bar is phenomenal; I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant. The food is is delicious and the service is always top-notch and friendly. D Bar is vibrant, eclectic, and diverse. Over the years I've tried many things on the menu and they're all been amazing! Do yourself a favor and order the Crue Fries (see picture in this post), they're to die for. Also, Baileys grilled chicken bowl is great as is the blackened salmon (also pictures). Finally, no visit to D Bar is complete without one of their homemade desserts; the creme brulee, beignets, or the cookies and cream milkshake are my personal favorites. However, no matter what you order, you will not be disappointed!!
