Guns 'N Hoses Cafe and Catering

We stopped here because everything else was closed in town as far as restaurants. The biggest mistake we made was not ever eating here before!!! Off the charts, home made, amazing food! I think everything here is from scratch...maybe even the water! Best meatloaf I have ever had at a restaurant, and better that 99% of the meatloaf i have had at friends houses. This place defines comfort food and is a MUST STOP of you are in the area. Worth jumping of of route 5 or route 76 for certain! The atmosphere is small diner with a hometown touch of history with fire fighting decor. If you want a flashback from your grandma's home made cooking...this is the place!!!!

Their food is absolutely delicious. I ordered the loaded baked potato with pulled pork, bacon and cheese. The proportions are wonderfully huge.
The friendly service and smiles was great. I highly recommend visiting this beautifully decorated cafe and order some delicious food.

My Husband and I have eaten here a few times and every time it has been great! The food is delicious and the owners make you feel like your part of the family, very welcoming and because of that we live in boardman and we will keep on coming back to Newton Falls to eat at Guns & Hoses. Nice place to eat

I had the Salisbury steak with mashed potatoes and green beans. It absolutely the best Salisbury steak I've had in years. My friend had the lasagna. He said it was delicious

I thought everyone was very friendly. We had the meatloaf dinner which was deliciously. There is a large selection on the menu. I would definitely go back

The food at this restaurant is amazing it has a home-cooked taste to it The loaded potato is so worth the money you will definitely have enough for a late night snack and also the hamburgers are delicious too I would recommend this restaurant 100% to anybody

The Salisbury steak dinner tonight was delicious, enough for 2 meals. The pumpkin pie was also very tasty!

Such a fun little spot. Definitely felt like we were eatin dinner with family. We will be back for sure!

We had the the chicken Philly loaded potato and pulled pork loaded potato. They were huge and delicious. The milk shakes were awesome. The owners were really nice and friendly. The atmosphere was amazing. This is a must go to if you are in Newtown falls.

I'm amazed at the negative reviews. The only thing I can think is maybe these are old people with very sensitive stomachs. If that's the case, then no, this isn't the place for you. They use seasonings, spices, and flavors, and it's amazing. The maple bacon green beans have such a unique taste of maple but not really sweet, and not sticky. To me, the mashed potatoes seemed to have a hint of sour cream. The pulled pork has a hint of smoke finish. Even the cheeseburger had a hint of garlic in the patty. And around $10? You can't go wrong!

My family is so happy to have Guns N Hoses in town! Everything we have ordered has been delicious. My husband's favorite is the BLT and I really like the chicken Philly. When they offer breakfast- JUST ORDER- it is amazing! Service is always fast and friendly and I love the online ordering option!

The food here is amazing! Fresh ingredients prepared with the perfect blend of herbs & spices. Ashley & Donnie prepare your food “to order”. Love their meatloaf, egg plant, grilled BBQ chicken, ribs, soups & salads! Best around & worth the drive if you aren’t from Newton Falls. Call ahead for pick up orders and they’ll have it ready for you.

Amazing food selection and taste! I've ordered several times, and everything I've had is amazing. The service is excellent, and I always felt welcome when ordering and picking up my food. There's something delicious for everyone at this place!

Good food and very nice couple. We heard about in our hometown of Newton Falls . So went went for lunch to Newton Falls.

A great find! We had a burger and baked potato...both were devoured. And I truly appreciate the option of non-fried sides....the baked apples hit the spot. We were just travelling through, but I have this spot saved in case we pass through again.

I hardly ever finish a milk shake but I finished the one I got here ! It was absolutely amazing! I got the salted caramel one and it actually was the best milk shake I've ever had ! I also get the meat loaf dinners and they are really good also! I can't wait until fish friday!

Very caring and loving staff. They catered our fire department that was hosting a drill evening with a total of 5 depts. everything was fresh and warm. Presented well. We’ve even tried going again and they were gratefully booked or sold out. They have also tried to accommodate us in a pinch. Very supportive to others. The food they post on FB looks delicious now they offer delivery we are hoping to try more while on shift!!

Food was delicious, my husband got meat loaf’s dared to say it was better than mine. I had the Filly Steak sandwich n it was great. The place is so clean n people very friendly. Go try it your self

My family ordered the chicken bacon ranch hoagie, sides: pasta salad, potato salad and firehouse baked beans, giant loaded potato (chili) and a meatloaf dinner. Everything was absolutely AMAZING!!! Can’t wait to try everything else!!
