Cougar Cave Cafe

Great food even at 3am!! They are fast and friendly, and the food is amazing. If you call in your order, you must pay by card over the phone. Food is almost always done in 10 mins or less.

The hot case is always stocked here. It is a great pit stop when heading out of town or for a good bit of food.

Cold drinks are plentiful and a good selection!

I got the monster Burger meal here. And it's something that I would definitely come back for. 2 smash patties prepared fresh and juicy. With some fresh Frisbee fries.

The smash burger (monster burger) here was really good, I think if this place was closer to town they'd have a line wrapped around the building.

Stop here. Seriously. Good food. Good people. They care.

Great food all day every day

Super friendly staff, always clean and stocked. Love the atmosphere, I'll go out of my way to get gas here. Gas prices are oddly cheaper than further in town. Had to fill a propane tank as well. They are on top of it! Love coming here every time!

Picked up breakfast at the Cougar cafe. They are closed Tuesdays for maintenance. The breakfast was great, I got chicken fried steak 5 oz it was enough with gravy over it. It came with 2 eggs hash browns and your choice of bread. I will be back for lunch and dinner at a later date. Staff were very friendly and it only took about 10 minutes to get my order. I'm a happy customer!!!

Super friendly staff that make you feel like family. Great selection for a 24 hour restaurant and food is definitely made to order. Covered patio makes for a decent amount of seating when weather is permitting. Food is reasonably priced and they can make burgers with a lettuce wrap instead of a bun. Kitchen and dining area were very clean. The food looked amazing and tasted even better. You can call in orders or order at the counter. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for home cooking or a late night bite.

My absolutely love this place ❤. They have not disappointed once. Usually we get the finger steak , but we tried something different today. My hubby got the chicken fried steak dinner . He loved it. And the kiddos got cheese burgers and frys supper happy kiddos. And I got the BBQ sandwich with onion and I got to say it was far better than any BBQ place around tri cities 😋.

Food from the kitchen is off the chain!(very good) and the staff is pretty cool for being a gas station. But I have been going to this store for 25 years and Dont know any of the current staff and it's still my favorite. I stop for gas even if I don't need it.

Wow found this place by accident, noticed the sign it had been reviewed in bon appetite, thought I'd try it, glad I did!! Their grilled chicken poor boy was fantastic, the chicken was cooked perfectly, with the mayonnaise and spiced perfectly made it rich, not dry and stuck between your teeth, which gave it a real nice mouth fee!😋 Next time your in Benton city snd need gas, and the best sandwiches, burgers, and all the rest Conoco has it all. The food combined with the nicest people gives this place an A+++

Such great burgers! Best in Benton City for sure and beyond. The menu is packed with home style diner goods. They also serve breakfast! You can't ask anymore from a gas station diner and I will be back again and again!

For what it is (a small gas station with an even smaller kitchen with little to no seating), the cougar cafe does a damned good job. It's tasty food made with real ingredients. I can successfully identify what is in my cheeseburger by taste and texture which is leap and bounds ahead of any fast food place. The menu seems big but it's "theme" is conservative. IMHO, this is a tiny drive-in diner where I can fuel up my rig as well as body. I always love a two-fer so I give the 5 stars.

They have very nice cashiers, I've gone twice the 1st time a cashier lady gave my son a lollipop and the second time a guy was courteous enough to ask if I wanted condiments with my corn dog before I even asked 👍, I would gladly return to this store just because of the service.

The staff is super friendly and helpful. The store is very very clean, bathrooms are super clean. There's a deli with a nice menu. Candy, chips, beer, wine, etc. Propane, gas and Diesel are also available. Seconds from highway 84.
