Java Jungle Cafe

You can't really beat this restaurant! They treat you like family, from the wait staff to the cooks. My wife and I go there on a somewhat regular basis. ( Once or twice a month) The wait staff always great us and ask us how we are doing, and they seem to genuinely be interested. Well there was one day we took our son with us ( as of writing this he is a one year old) well the wait staff were just overjoyed to see him. We ordered our food and before it came out one of the cooks came out and said "the waitress said you brought your baby, I had to see the little guy!" We talked and he went back to the kitchen a few minutes later. After our food came out another cook came out to ask if our little guy was enjoying his food. That to me is probably the best feeling in the world. Staff that actually care about the customers and are willing to show it. Also the food is probably the best you are going to get in Dansville. Not to mention that the restaurant itself has a rich history. I'm not going to say what it is, I'll leave that to you to ask the staff there and find out!

Our family stopped here for breakfast while camping nearby. Our waitress, Nicole, was friendly and offered tips on local points of interest. The omelets were delicious and our teens had the chocolate chip and peanut butter chip pancakes. Also, the coffee was excellent. We ordered lattes to go and really enjoyed them. We would definitely stop here again when we return to the area.

Awesome food! On a motorcycle trip today and stopped for lunch. Cactus Jack wrap and Tex Mex quesadilla with homemade chips (made from seasoned soft tortillas). Owner is very friendly as well as wait staff. Ate at outdoor picnic table. Owner is working on socially distant tent for back parking lot! Will definitely keep this on our “eat there again list”!

The variety of food is great. Food is delicious and abundant, at very reasonable prices. Nice small Cafe atmosphere with friendly staff. Lots of specials and wonderful prime rib. Great salads and wraps too.

My friend treated me to Friday night take out a few weeks ago. I order the "cub size" prime rib meal.
My meal had a very large cut of prime rib with au jus, seasoned vegetables, REAL mashed potatoes with gravy, a roll, and clam chowder. Totally worth the value! I can't wait have a meal in the restaurant.

Had a very nice meal here. Simple, but good.
Went to pay for meal and was told someone picked up the tab. I just want to say thank you to whomever did it. It wasn't necessary yet very appreciated. Thank you

This was by far the best restaurant in Dansville and we are so sad its gone. We are hoping for a return, great food ,great prices and the wait staff was Always more than accommodating and friendly. Please do Dansville a favor and reopen!

Very nice menu, everything is well prepared and nice and flavorful. Reasonably priced. I had the stuffed French toast and my mother had the veggie omelet

Great food and friendly service. Although the decor is definitely dated, I'm really glad that we stopped by on our way to Buffalo. The staff is friendly and the food is excellent. We will definitely stop by on our way back.

I don't normally do reviews but this calls for one...just sat back at my desk and bit into my cheeseburger, soo delicious!! It was made perfectly, cooked promptly, and the waitress was awesome!

Talk about hiding in plain site! This is a great little restaurant with many unique dishes. Seating is limited due to the size of the place, but you'll never walk away dissatisfied or hungry!

Took a chance and ordered prime rib. It was fantastic. I’ve never had a bad meal at this place. Highly recommend!

This place really packs people in. Their menu is excellent and their waitresses are top notch. You won't leave here hungry.

Always a good place to grab a quick bite. The shrimp scampi is my favorite, but I've never had a bad meal there.

Great burger/fries and they offer gluten free hamburger buns and bread. Not many places offer gluten free items. Delicious!!

Food was delicious and staff very friendly. Probably the best burger in New York and portion was large.
