Brantley's Village Restaurant

Had a meeting there over lunch. The food was great and they let us stay as long as we needed to finish our work. Great folks.

Brantley’s is certainly not hidden……..but it’s a gem. The restaurant was full of locals and we had what everyone seemed to be having…..the lunch buffet. Not big…..but very good. A constant stream of fresh popcorn shrimp, clam strips, trout, and some of the best bbq I’ve had in a long time. A great deal at 11.25……..and that included our drinks. Special thanks to Tiffany who always checked on us. A long drive for us ……but we’ll worth it. Thank you……

A wonderful small town, family owned restaraunt. Generous portions. Perfectly cooked seafood and a fantastic buffet. An extensive menu to satisfy the land lubbers. Where the locals eat.

Brantley’s is an institution in Oriental that’s been around a long time. It is a real down home type of restaurant where you meet real people that treat you like family.

There is a buffet lunch available that is brimming with standard southern fare. If you are in a hurry you can easily dish up lots of delicious food as soon as you sit down. A little patience is well rewarded when ordering from the menu. I had the Reuben sandwich and it practically melted in my mouth.

Don’t be fooled by lots of cars in the parking lot. There is plenty of seating inside and rarely a wait.

Great food and great people. We go back every year when we volunteer at Camp Seagull. The greenbeans are a treat and I love dipping my fries in the brown gravy.

In town for a fishing trip. Visited for breakfast. The breakfast sandwiches were really good. Coffee was good and the service good also! Friendly servers. Would definitely come back!

My Husband and I found this place while he was looking somewhere to fish. We ordered off the menu the fish was Wonderful it was crispy and tender. Don't let me forget to mention the fish was Hugh when we finish eating the fish we had no room to eat the sides we ordered. We were full lol.The waitress was kind and sweet. I recommend this place to everyone 💯%

Down home place with great seafood! Run by the same family for generations and you can tell they care about making good food and caring for their patrons.

Philly cheesesteaks and onion rings are the best! So is the Downeast clam chowder. Great service.

It is always good. We drive from Kinston for the Saturday night seafood buffet.

We went on a Saturday night for the seafood buffet. Busy! The buffet was very tasty. My wife, however, ordered off the menu. It took a very long time for her order to arrive. Other patrons experienced the same problem. So, I suggest that your party all order from the menu or go for the buffet, but if you don't, then don't complain about the service.
By the way, what a friendly staff on hand. You can't help but like them.

This place is so damn good and so affordable. I always look forward to the Thursday lunch buffet.

A small locals seafood place. Don't be fooled by the tiny buffet - it had shrimp, oysters, scallops, clam strips, fish and the southern sides you expect. Oh yes, and hushpuppies of course. The food was kept at perfect temp & refilled often & was very fresh. My son got the trout off the menu & got 2 hugest pieces of perfectly fried fish.
