Wah Ha Ha Thai Food & Noodle Soup

Simply amazing 😍 my favorite authentic Thai restaurant up in the North woods of Wisconsin closed down due to family reasons. And I have been searching for that same flavor for around 8years, and I just found it! Too bad it's 1,322 miles from home. I had chicken red curry and added pineapple, the Wah ha ha special was very savory flavorful! And papaya salad delish. Will definitely be stopping on our way back home!

Seriously, I've been taking my family there regularly for 7 years. The owners have a way of making you feel welcomed like friends.

If you want the absolute best Asian food, do not waste your time on the chain restaurants. You must try this restaurant! Everything is fresh and made from scratch, including the appetizers. I ordered the crab rangoon, which I have ordered many many times in other restaurants, these were absolutely the lightest, crispiest, best tasting I have ever eaten! I ordered the Suki noodle soup, which is a little spicy, it comes in a large bowl packed with a meat of your choice, vegetables glass noodles and an amazing broth. My companion ordered the crispy noodle bowl with shrimp, it too came in a large bowl packed with vegetables and a lot of shrimp, which were a good size. We ordered the Thai iced tea, which is very delicious and interesting. It is a coral color that is sweet and quite refreshing and delicious. Their menu features many items and every item has a picture to go with it. The pictures are quite reasonable for the quantity of food you get and I am most anxious to go back and try everything on the menu. This restaurant is well worth a visit. The host / server was very friendly and attentive and service was quite prompt. Definitely make it a point to visit this location, you won't be disappointed.

Quite literally the best Thai food I've had in the states (and I've been to Thailand many times). The soups, curries, and special dishes are about as authentic as they get. They don't skimp on the fish sauce, and the flavor is amazing! What a gem to find in Gainesville!

Very welcoming staff . We ordered Shrimp rolls , Tom yum soup and shrimp chicken basil fried rice. Rolls completely filled with shrimp which is delicious. I enjoyed the Tom yum soup the most. I think fried rice could have been more authentic.

I appreciate the fact that these guys took last minute order and served very quickly with delicious food.

Don't waste your time at chain restaurants if you want the best Asian food available. This restaurant is a must-try! The appetizers are among the many fresh and homemade items. Having had crab Rangoon's many times in various restaurants, I ordered these and they were the lightest, crispiest, and tastiest I've ever had! I had the somewhat hot Suki noodle soup, which comes in a big bowl full of glass noodles, your choice of meat, and a delicious broth. My dining partner also ordered the crispy noodle bowl with shrimp, which arrived in a sizable bowl filled with plenty of shrimp that were decent in size and vegetables. Thai iced tea was what we ordered.

Definitely hole in the wall restaurant. I almost drove past before I saw the sign. I have never been inside the dining room since I always get takeout. The service is really fast; in less than 10-15 minutes they had my order ready. I always get the Pad See Ew in mild which is enough spice for me. It is really good food for the price you pay. Also, they do not take Apple pay so make sure you bring your card in.

I had the panang while a friend ha for the yellow curry. Both tasted and smelled delicious. Wish that they offered more rice for free because the combination with the soup was amazing.

Place is relatively clean and the staff is nice too. There is a lack of parking though so I went to park at the neighboring hotel

The service was amazing, the waiter was fun while professional as was the waitress that checked on us as well, and the food came out quick and was actually spicy enough for my partner(ghost peppers are delicious and not too spicy to him), and the atmosphere was very calm and peaceful.
The crab Rangoon was the best I've had in my life... Not an exaggeration(sorry China house... And Sakura's buffet...) Overall loved it all.

Satisfies my Thai food cravings and the staff is super nice. I know I can have any sort of Thai food to my presences especially since i like some heat and spice in my foods. It has been consistently good and me and my roomies love getting take out too. Parking can be kinda limited in the plaza.

We are looking for an authentic Thai place to eat, and we drove from Ocala this Friday, and we had a wonderful lunch here. We ordered Tom Kha soup and pineapple-fried rice. I had never had pineapple-fried rice before, and that was simply wonderful. Thanks to the waitress for suggesting this dish. Also she gives us different spices on the side. The shrimp quantity and size were great. And the crab rangoon was amazing as well as that is used to make in house. The food and service were amazing. Will definitely come back.

5/5 service was amazing. Took my son with autism there, he loves the sweet chicken and rice. I love the rest. Try the drunken noodles and basil egg plant. Their spicy scale is 6/10 with their hot being about average. Don't be scared to go thai hot.

Wow wow wow!!!!! Ordered the Thai Fried Rice takeout and it was amazeballs. Spicy and delicious!! I’ve never had better fried rice in my entire life.

I’ve been coming here for years and it’s my favorite Thai restaurant in Gainesville. I either get the chicken noodle soup or the Larb Gai. The food is absolutely amazing and authentic! I come here regularly and I highly recommend!

My husband's favorite from our trip to Gainesville was the (thai spicy) tom yum soup, mine was the (hot) green curry with shrimp, and our partner's was the crab rangoon. All of the dishes we ate were amazing and our waiter was wonderful and fun to speak with. My partner loved the crab rangoon so much that we got more to go. "This rangoon is gonna last wa ha ha half way home," she said.

Very authentic environment. The people were extremely nice and respectful and it was a very quick process. Food taste absolutely phenomenal. I would definitely give it a five star rating and say it’s very authentic. I will definitely be coming back.
