This is the best Retro Video game store of all time. The owner John is a very nice guy and very knowledgeable when it comes to retro video games. Has a great selection of video games and great selection of magic and pokemon cards. I would give this store 5 stars any day of the week BUDDDYYYYY

Great shop and found some good gems here. Was also impressed by the quality of some of the genres, nearly pristine & complete retro titles at times, that was awesome to see. Owner is a really friendly guy; seems like a nice place to hang out.

Great retro game store in the Bay Area! Met John last week and have already received great customer service. Found 2 great PS2 games I wanted to relive from my youth. When I was in the store, it was very clean and organized. There were even set ups for upcoming tournaments. Glad I discovered this gem

Really intimate space with a good variety of retro games, even carrying imports.

I instantly clicked with one of the owners, Johnny, & he really knew his stuff. Prices were fair too. Highly recommend checking out if you're in the area.

The owner is very friendly and creates an environment that feels like a video game library/museum. I came here to get my game save battery replaced on my old Game Boy Color game catridge. This definitely helps me relive some childhood memories. I hope to come back soon. Please support this local business.

I grew up in Fremont, and all of the old game stores are gone that I used to visit, I was surprised when I found out that there was a new game store in town.

Stopped in with some family while visiting and was surprised by the great selection of Retro Nintendo games.

Staff was extremely friendly and a pleasure to talk to. Prices were in line with what eBay would have but I had the chance to hold the cartridge in my hands and look at it. Quality was way better than I would have expected from an eBay auction.

I'll definitely drop in any time I'm visiting the bay, this place is a gem!

Cartridge cartel is a really amazing shop. The owner puts his love into this store and you can tell. He has a good selection of games and consoles and always has input on games and things you’re interested in. Definitely worth a visit

Good prices and friendly owner. If you are looking for game systems and games from the original Nintendo to PS3, this is a great place to stop if you are in the Fremont area. I had a good visit and picked up some N64 games that I have been looking for awhile. Highly recommend.

Great selection for a small store. Their games and consoles are in great condition and their prices are fair. I bought a gamecube and it worked flawlessly. I'll definitely be stopping by again.

The owners have managed to pack in a lot of games despite the limited space. You'll find everything retro game related from video games to consoles, controllers, and even strategy guides. Everything is also fairly priced compared to current market values and the owners are great to talk with. If you find yourself in the East Bay looking for retro video games, check this place out.

I thought for a small shop there wouldn't be much, but as soon as I walked in I saw a bunch of stuff that resembled my childhood. Needless to say, this place is somewhere everyone should go if they love retro video games. Not only are the items great as well as the prices, but the guy named John who works there is one of the nicest people I've ever met at a video game shop! 10-10⭐

I have been to alot of video game stores, but this store stands out the most because the owner John is an amazing and really laid back guy who cares about what his customers need, everything in that store is a really great and fair price. Everytime I go here I always have walked out with some sort of video game or console. It's one of the only gameshops I'll go to. If I could I would rate this shop 10 out of 5 stars
