I've eaten here only a half dozen times so far and every time has been excellent. The French fries are awesome. Had a bacon cheeseburger and the bacon was nice and thick. Highly suggest this establishment to everyone.

Why are there not more people here over lunch?! We ordered the special, catfish and fries; it was easily the best I've ever had. I only like fish when it is fresh. Not a crum was left; it was all gone before I could take a photo. The dessert was Bourbon Pecan Pie, amazing!

Cute place with AMAZING food. Homemade french fries were incredible. Fun store attached with great gift items. It’s worth the visit! We had a Reuben and grilled cheese with bacon and tomato on Texas toast! We also had a piece of key lime pie. We will be going back when we come back to town. Yum!!!!

This is a one-of-a-kind restaurant; unique layout. Super nice! Great place to eat and grab a favorite beverage. Owner is awesome. We will be back, and bring friends.

Hands down the BEST tenderloin sandwich in Iowa. Homemade bun, handcut tenderloin, fried to pure perfection. I had Iowa's 2019 Best Tenderloin Sandwich and it simply does not compare to Sodes.

Excellent service and amazing food for a small local establishment. Great selection of liquor and lots of knick knacks available. Amazing little place worth checking out.
