Saturn

Stopped in here on a whim because one of my buddies needed some caffeine. Wow, I'm glad we came here. The coffee was fantastic and they have a bunch of cool games and PINBALL. When we visited, they had two machines Attack from Mars and the Mandalorian. Unfortunately, Attack from Mars was turned off. The Mandalorian was in good play condition and was affordable, 7 credits for $5 and 3 balls a credit. I was able to play a solo game and two 3-player games with friends. I would come back if I was in the area! I wish my area (Athens, GA) had a place like this. Stop by if you can!

Had a fantastic concert experience here. Plenty of games, board or console to play before & after the concert to pass the time. Not a bad selection of drinks at the bar, & decent bar food too.
They always have great lineups & different genres for everyone. I've seen folk groups, electric groups, & metal/rock.

Another great small up close and personal music venue, quick easy access from downtown, or interstates 65, 20/59. Very friendly staff. I'll be back I'm sure.

This is an awesome venue! It was perfect for seeing Henry Rollins - big enough to accommodate a nice crowd, small enough to feel intimate. The bar and board games are well-stocked, and the bar staff are super-friendly and helpful. I love that we were able to take our food from the AMAZING Travis food truck inside, so we could sit down to eat, instead of eating on the street. It was our first time visiting, and I certainly plan to go back.

Incredible atmosphere for smaller shows. Staff is crazy friendly and helpful. Solid prices and wide selection of drinks.

Went to the Saturn for the first time recently and saw sunn 0))). The venue was great, close to parking, and had drinks, arcade games, and friendly staff. I'm trying to keep track of artists that are performing at the Saturn because I enjoyed the experience. If you are older like me, grab one of the few stools, as the opening act plus sunn was about two and a half hours long and that's a long time for me to stand. Still, I highly recommend the venue for live music!

Great venue and reasonably priced beer! Kitchen Dwellers and Sicard Hollow were absolutely amazing!

Went again for solo Sicard Hollow and it was fantastic! Sound quality is better than it used to be.

This is an amazing live music venue and a SUPER amazing bar! They have tons of old school video game systems and board games. Drinks are also decently priced and phenomenal. We LOVE coming here and have routinely driven the 4 hours to visit when a favorite band is in town. If we lived in Bham then we would be regulars here for sure!

One of if not my favorite music venues. I love the atmosphere at the Saturn, with the lighting, video game options, how the place is laid out, etc. My only complaint is that a lot of the consoles do not work, and even when they do the game runs pretty slow. Other than that, I’d recommend anyone come to a show or grab a drink here!

2024 UPDATE:
Nothing has changed. Always a good venue. Good drinks, nice people, clean bathrooms. Games, snacks, coffee redbull, pinball. What else could you possibly want? Seriously love this space for shows, hangoing out, photo opportunities, private events, whatever. The theme and aesthetic are amazing.

Loved seeing Highly Suspect here! It was an amazing show. The staff was nice and the facility is amazing. Clean and really cool.

I can definitely say that Saturn Birmingham is one of the greats. Every show or event I’ve been to was always memorable. The atmosphere is incredibly eclectic as well as the amazing staff. I highly recommend a visit.

Great place that takes you back you some of your favorite childhood memories with an adult twist. This place is definitely just an overall vibe from the atmosphere to the scenery to the drink choices. If you go, try the tropical stardust drink. Youll definitely want more than 1.

Such a cool bar/venue! So creatively put together with the amazing space themes and detailed touches. Sound was great. Would definitely travel again for this venue!!

The staff is excellent, the space is excellent, the music is excellent. 5 stars all the way around.

Visiting Birmingham for Thanksgiving 🦃 enjoyed this place. It has an indoor and outdoor sitting (with string lights which I always love). There was a good truck outside.. They don’t serve good inside.. Just some chips. The inside looks so cool and awesome. There was even a vintage photo booth. And so so so so many games to play! A great place to hangout with your friends. They also serve coffee and tea which is nice because I was feeling sick and didn’t want to drink alcohol. So that’s nice and friendly. They also have this room where during that night was Latina dance night so there was a $10 cover and people go there to socialize and dance. Our server was also very polite and friendly. Would definitely go back:

This spot is a zap to back in the day gaming, coffee bar, and alcohol bar later in the day. Bookcases of board games, gaming consoles that will take you back to your childhood (for those of us old enough to remember the original release of Nintendo!), pinball machines in the back….I could stay here all day!!! Fun place for a date or a quick jaunt back into time! LOVE THIS PLACE!

Saturn continues to be one of my favorite spots for both how well the shows go and how nice of a time it is. The band selections are always great and it's such a vibe. Will always be a top tier venue

One of my favorite concert venues in Birmingham. A very unique place, with lots of things to do from listening to live music, to grabbing drinks, and even having a large selection of games to play. I’ve only had positive experiences here.
