Doug is absolutely amazing! He tried to walk us through our dishwasher repair over the phone to save us a service call. We couldn't get it fixed so he came out. He walked us through what we need to do in the future if our issue happens again. He took time show us how to reset our dishwasher and he also helped us reset our washing machine. Plus gave us tips to make our refrigerator more efficient. He is just wonderful and we HIGHLY recommend him.

Doug is the best! I have a Airbnb and had guests coming in. I called a number of so called 24 hour repair as advertised. This was on a Saturday morning. No luck till I taked to Doug . He came out and all it needed was to be reprogramed. Very knowledgeable also reasonable price! We will never go elsewhere. Thank you so much Doug!

I would give them 10 stars if I could. Our refrigerator failed on a Thursday and we’re thinking best case we’ll get if fixed the following week.

Doug Kern came out on Saturday to fix it. Did not charge us extra. He Explained why it failed and showed us how to repair it if the problem ever showed up again before it got bad enough to need his services.

No one provides this level of service anymore. Doug could teach a master class on what A+ Service looks like.

Needless to say, we’ll never use anyone else. Highly recommended!!!

I didn’t catch the gentleman’s name that helped us (guessing it was the owner) but we called him to fix our dishwasher. He told us he would walk us through fixing it over the phone. So, not only was he right, but he helped us fix it on our own on Christmas Eve morning! He was so sweet and helpful and we fixed it at no-cost! He easily could have come out and done what he did and charged us, we would have been appreciative of that too, but he helped us out of good will. I’ve never experienced someone so kind as him in the industry and extremely knowledgeable. He will get our business 100% of the time now and I will tell everyone to call him!!

Always our GO TO appliance repair service. Doug is very knowledgable and creative in the repairs.

Doug has helped us out a couple times over the years. He was the only guy who was willing to come help us with our fridge in less than 7 days, in fact he stopped by on a Friday evening on his way home. Found the fried control board issue and is ordering the part on the next business day.

Doug @ Kern's was extremely professional, knowledge-able and helpful. He was recommended to us from GE HQ Customer Service, and we were not disappointed (and my mother had used his service in the past and was pleased). Our dishwasher stopped working suddenly yesterday. I called another appliance repair this morning who was friendly but simply scheduled a time to come out several days later. Called Kern’s and Doug answered the phone. He helped us walk through some basic troubleshooting over the phone before making a service call. After a few suggestions, we got it to work!! So thankful! Saved us time and money for a service call. Would highly recommend!

Doug came out to our Fort Ripley house to hookup a gas stove. It was an emergency because my husband attempted to do it and we were afraid the house would explode. He came out the same day we called even though he was fully booked. He was so meticulous and really cared that it was hooked up properly and safely. He spent the time to make sure that the burners were just right and the oven flame was the right color. I highly recommend him.

Doug is very friendly and knowledgeable. He fixed our washing machine and stepped me through how to correct the problem if it happens again. Doug made my 4 year old son feel very important and allowed him to help with the repairs! We are very pleased with the service we received!

Great service with Kerns.
Came out to the house to repair an ice maker. Quickly diagnosed the problem (clogged water lines) & went through step by step to clean & make sure it was working properly & then walked us through how to prevent in the future (something the mfg doesnt tell you). Doug was very friendly & professional . I would highly recommend him.

A memory on Facebook just popped up where I had posted how great Kern's Appliance had been...I have been trying to remember who had repaired my washing machine because of the honesty and the fabulous job that he did. I am grateful to have found his information and will be adding it to my list of repair people.

First of all Kern called and texted ways to have me try to fix it myself. Loved that. Then he came and not only fixed the reason the dryer stopped working, but solved a problem that was allowing lint to pile up on the heating unit. (The lint was scorched.)Then after things were fixed he cleaned all the lint, everything from behind the dryer and sorted out the valuables. He even vacuumed more than he needed to do and emptied the shop vac. I could not have been more pleased. And he didn't charge an arm and a leg. Do yourself a favor and call him.

Had a problem with our refrigerator. Came to my house at 8:30 that night. Went through and ran all the tests and even showed me how to diagnose the problems in the future. Found out that the refrigerator iced up and just needed a dethaw. Give me some tips on how to prevent it from happening again. Very friendly. Would highly recommend.

Doug is the best! Fixed our wine/beverage fridge that the others couldn't figure out. Honest and reliable...would highly recommend!

Called about fix for Samsung refrigerator that had frozen evaporation drip line. Got quite call back on DYI fix. Will definitely call when repair is needed.
