Family Barbecue

This place is fantastic! We tried the loaded tots with pork, loaded fries with chicken, loaded nachos with brisket, and kid's pork slider. Everything was excellent. The service was top notch. No complaints. 10/10 will do again.

Family BBQ is the bomb! My first time here and service was outstanding. Our server kept checking on us with a friendly smile! We were here for lunch and was not busy at all! This is an asset to Bardstown! The food was delicious and good size portions. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Nothing fancy but the food is delicious. Some of the best brisket I've had! They were out of ribs so we'll be back. Definitely recommend the pickle fries as an appetizer. Sides are massive! The Mac and cheese is very good. Good service.

My husband and I love this place. Our food has always been consistent and service is 5 star. Lily and Keonna are our faves. Get the sweet/spicy sauce too. Fried pickles are a definite as well as the pulled pork, baked beans and potato salad.

Fantastic food. We had the pulled chicken sandwich and brisket. Both were delicious. The potato salad was great, the baked beans and green beans were amazing. Glad to see a place that says they have great food and actually lives up to the expectation. Would highly recommend this BBQ place to anyone in the Bardstown area

We reserved the party room for our large family of 30 and our service was the BEST we had ever received! My family is from Alabama and when it’s comes to BBQ, they can be picky! I can without a doubt say this is the BEST Brisket we have had here in Kentucky!! The Brisket Bites were to die for!
The staff was amazing. Very attentive to our needs. This was a planned night for my son who proposed to his longtime girlfriend and their kindness made it all more special.
They deserve 10 stars !

Just had our first meal and it was fabulous. The brisket was superb, best ever. The pulled chicken was super tender. Lots of items to choose from. Our waitress, Gracie, was an absolute doll!! Loved her!!! Her bubbly personality added to our experience. All of the staff we so Very nice. See ya, shortly!!!

We stopped in tonight for dinner. We were glad to see such a great turn out supporting this new business in town! I really enjoyed my pulled pork sandwich with sweet BBQ. My husband had the brisket, and it was great as well. I will add that the brownie with ice cream was really good too! Staff were super friendly, and we look forward to coming again!

We got the pork and brisket. Came with pickles and onions. Brisket was good, and the pork was as well. I have read the reviews and was a little concerned, but had a great experience. Our order was to go.

To the guy who said to go to Bootlegs instead must have his dog do his taxes. This place is MUCH better than Bootleg and that guy needs to have his head examined.

Loved the food, and the waitress was incredibly kind and accomodating to our large group with young kids. Our grouo enjoyed the pulled pork, a couple of the salads, and really liked the fries. They had some non-BBQ options too (burger, tenders). 3 and 2 y/o split a kids grilled cheese meal.

The food was delicious!! My family and I ordered take out. We had never eaten at this restaurant before and we wanted to try something new. Some of the reviews I had read had me worried but I am glad I decided to give it a try. We will definitely come back again.

Looking for a good barbecue place go here. This is the best place hands down. Their appetizers are amazing. And their ribs are fall off the bone good.

Me and my 5 other friends tried this place for our Friday night dinner. It did not disappoint. We are got something different and the food was great. Our waitress Sydney was amazing and we will ask for her when we go back

First time trying Family BBQ. We just moved here from Texas and was craving some good BBQ. Excellent quality brisket sandwich, and the best cooked fries I’ve had here. They were busy (good sign people like their food) service was friendly (always appreciated) and atmosphere was light and welcoming. I was extremely impressed with the cleanliness of the restaurant. I couldn’t believe when I looked at the menu and saw they sell fried catfish sandwiches. A good way to know that the cat fish is fresh is that the restaurant doesn’t stink like old fish. We will definitely eat and order from their again.

Besides this being the best BBQ I’ve ever had, the staff was top notch and very welcoming. This is the only restaurant I’ve ever walked into and made to feel completely at home!

This place has amazing bbq! Sides were good and plenty. The service was great. Grace did an amazing job. Prices were as expected in 2024. Definitely will be back!

We ate inside yesterday and got brisket to go today. It's the best brisket I've ever had. They're new, so working out the kinks but the service was fantastic, the inside of the restaurant is roomy and homey and welcoming. Staff was wonderful. The Mac and cheese is excellent. We had not one single complaint. Highly recommend and I truly home that our community supports this new local business and makes them a Bardstown must have, and that the restaurant stays in business permanently.

I ordered the pulled chicken sandwich because they were out of brisket. Very good chicken, the sweet and spicy sauce was an excellent addition to it. Came with pickels and onion too. I wanted potato salad and baked beans as sides. Both were tasty, highly recommended! My dad ordered the half rack of ribs, we both loved those! Lots of meat, 7 bones on ours, and the sauces were excellent! New restaurant that will sure be a local favorite. I will be back for sure
