This is our "go to" even though we have moved to Colorado. We visit annually when we are back home and order one time of year for delivery. Absolutely love Ko-Ed. Their sponge candy is the best around. The staff are always so friendly and there is a huge variety of chocolates. We even have converted family members who previously purchased sponge candy from competitors.

I have been ordering from this store for many years and will never buy from another place. The sponge candy is the absolute best! I order online as I’m no longer in the area and have never had a problem yet. The service is outstanding and the products are top shelf! My entire family orders from them and we are very picky when it comes to chocolate. The advent calendar is very cool and delicious. I would recommend to everyone, you will not be disappointed.

If somehow you're a Buffalo-native and you don't know about Ko-Ed Candies, what in the world have you been doing, living under a rock?! This is the single best candy store I've ever been in. The candy always looks awesome and tastes even better, and there's a darn-good reason they're famous for their sponge candy! It's simply the best around. We even go here just to get candy to send to family members in other states because they miss it so much. Seriously, if you haven't been there yet, get there YESTERDAY! You absolutely will not be disappointed!

I went here for the first time this past Easter to get my family chocolate and everyone loved it! Lots of selection even the day before Easter. The Peanut Butter sponge candy is delicious. I will be back so obviously you should try it too!

I’ve been going here for so long I can’t even remember when I first started I’m now going on 83yrs number one their cinnamon crystal beach suckers are to die for they have a very good selection of chocolate and once you shop here you’ll be back and back and and back and back for your favorites and get new ones ,just make sure to go on a full stomach so you don’t getcandied out!excuse me now while I go and get my cinnamon sucker and start enjoying it before I go to bed here’s to happy licking yum yum oops forgot I’ve got to brush my teeth first

Tanya is very knowledgeable and very helpful. And of course the candy is wonderful! Everything is immaculate and well-organized, and I especially love the enormous choices in the smaller prepackaged selection section. My daughter is here visiting Buffalo from LA because her father ( my ex) is in the hospital. She didn't know about this candy store, and I thought I would add sponge candy to the list of items everyone that visits Buffalo must purchase. She just had to have Buffalo pizza, chicken wings, and Weber's horseradish mustard. Sponge candy ( we love orange) is a staple on that list, and this is the go+ to store to get It! It's a definite must-have for former Buffalonians of course! I got a small package of coconut clusters as a little gift for her father. He'll love them!

Destination Item: Milk Chocolate Black Raspberry Jellies. My hubby & I diverge on chocolate. I like nuts, he likes jellies. These black raspberry jellies pulled me into his camp. My return visits to Buffalo include a ride to Ko-Ed for the sponge candy. I now include a bee line for these not too sweet, perfectly balanced with chocolate mouth treasures. Honestly, this is one of the best quality chocolate shops in the country.

I expanded from my favorites and OMG...amazing dark chocolate covered pretzels, turtles, salt caramels, and truffles. I wonder if they'd consider making violet infused chocolates??

BEST Sponge Candy in Western New York!! Every time I visit, I try to stop by and get some. I love that they ship all year round now. I send it regularly to my daughter and grand children in North Carolina. When I give Ko-Ed Sponge Candy to some one as a gift in Western PA, they LOVE it and say they’ve never had anything like it!!

First time here as it is not as close to where we live. However I have read a out it so wanted to give it a try. We moved back to Buffalo 5 years ago and have been happily trying the wonderful local family run chocolate stores. After today's visit I have found my favorite milk chocolate sponge candy. It has a thick creamy layer of milk chocolate and a wonderful sponge that is crispy and delicate with enough molasses flavor to stand up to the chocolate. Perfection.

I ordered my Easter candy to be shipped to Southern California and the USPS lost it. Lisa was fantastic and sent me another shipment via priority mail so my kids could enjoy the same great chocolate i enjoyed as a kid! Thanks Lisa!

Nice Candy Store, clean, good variety. Chocolate covered jellies are a hit with my Dad. Lovely ladies behind the counter to assist with your needs.

They have some of the best chocolate I have ever had. We were in from Maryland to visit a family member in Mercy hospital right down the street and after passing the shop we decided to stop in and give them a try and boy am I glad we did. I highly recommend you give them a try!!

Delicious candy, my partner won’t eat any other chocolate now that we’ve had it from here. The people that work here are personable and always helpful. The store is a little small, but they’re usually pretty stocked up on their inventory. (Get there a few days to a week early for holidays, they’re a hotspot!)

I absolutely love love love this place! The best chocolate I have ever had in my life to the point I now can't stand any other chocolate so I await being able to fly up to see family and go there! The store is adorable, prices are great, staff is great and I can't wait to go up there again this year! My favorite things there are sponge candy and chocolate popcorn! It's a wonderful place to go to be it you live there or are visiting the area! Also they have online shopping on some of their most sold items so for sure I will be taking advantage of that now it's available! 5 star all the way for this location!
