East Coast Garden Center

After going to several places looking for flowers, and being disappointed my neighbor told me about this place. What a remarkable, beautiful nursery. It has something for everyone. I must give a shot out to Wendall, who was riding by on his cart, we stopped him to ask him a question and he did not leave our side, until we checked out an hour later. Remarkable human being and so knowledgeable and patient. When asked a question, rather then give us the wrong info, he went and found Penny, who immediately explained what was needed to correct our problem. What a great day and a wonderful experience. Naturally, we spent more then we expected, but you cannot beat the quality of their products or the wonderful staff such a Wendell and Penny. Thanks again for everything!

This place has the mother load of plants. With over 70 green houses, you're sure to find what you need. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Handicap, kid and pet friendly. A must see! Open year round!

I found this gem after returning from a California vacation. I wanted to visit a houseplant store and came across East Coast Garden Center in my search. So glad I did. They have an amazing selection of houseplants, pots and everything you need to grow your plants. The staff is helpful and very knowledgeable. I can’t wait for warmer weather so I can see the outdoor selections.

We travel from Dover down to East Coast Garden Center & enjoy walking around to look at all of the plants. The employees are very knowledgeable and always helpful.

They have a wide variety of plants and trees.. Love their sales. I needed some annuals for some flower boxes and a planter .it's hard to find this time of year but they had some petunias! They have a plant sales towards the end of summer..I think September. 2 years ago we bought a small crepe myrtle for$10.. Thought it was white but it actually was pink and white. Last year we bought 2 more funky looking crepe myrtles for $5 a piece.. They are looking much better this year. The smaller one doesn't have buds yet but we are hopeful!

Staff is always extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Selection is the best we have seen in the area. Product quality is a cut above.

I went to East Coast Garden Center to identify some of my existing shrubbery. The staff welcomed me immediately and identified everything I was looking for. They advised me of how to trim and care for the
plants. I will definitely reach out to them in the spring when I’m ready to plant something new!

We’ve been shopping here for several years. The plants are always in great shape and they have a huge variety. Today we were able to choose from so many hydrangea varieties that it made our heads spin! But Greg gave us such personalized service and great info that we were finally able to make our choices. He was incredibly attentive and knowledgeable! We’ll always shop here! Thank you Greg and East Coast Garden Center!

Tom was a wonderful resource. He listened to our garden site requirements, made suggestions, and was very helpful. We have returned several times, and each experience has been as good or better than the last. We will be back!

I believe that hard work and individuals that do a job well deserve to be applauded. I work for a small local landscape company and Maria has been my contact here for a few years. No matter what time of the day, and sometimes night, I contact her she is very responsive and always happy to answer any questions! she goes above and beyond for her customers, and I sincerely appreciate everything she does.

First time visiting this garden center this week. I was very impressed with everything….lots to choose from, lots of decor items too. Everyone was quite friendly. And it’s dog friendly. Will definitely be going back.

Beautifully designed and laid out garden center garden center with very plentiful and helpful staff with an ocean of potted plants, shrubs and trees. Well worth the trip from Dover. Definitely will be visiting again..

The best place in Sussex county to get all your gardening needs. From pots to petunias they have it all.

Love this place. The owner and his team are amazing. Great selection of plants and flowers, and people that know what they are talking about. Much better than the big box stores. Highly recommend this place!
