First time visited this place on a weekend and all tables were occupied. Patio seating was cozy and comfortable equipped with heaters for chilly nights. I don't drink but my friend enjoyed the cocktails here and all dishes we ordered were good.

Excellent South Indian food option for takeout.

-Price is a little on the higher side, but you do get good portion sizes and other extras not typical with a lot of Indian restaurants - such as basmati rice being included with curry dishes.

-Flavors are tasty, curries are rich and creamy, and meat is tender and falls off the bone

-Service is great (note I have not dined in but have interacted with the host to pick up orders). The atmosphere is better than the average Indian restaurant but still could do some work to be modernized and take better advantage of space. I will continue to get takeout from here rather than dine in. But I am definitely okay with that given the taste of the food!

Awesome starter.. if you like typical Indian starters, this is the place. I had hard time to get nice peanut masala. This place has the awesome one. We order at lease 20 starters veg n non-veg included. All were great, however Chicken Ghee roast, Goat Roast, Chicken 65, Shrimp Fry and Vijayawada Biryani was awesome. Very cost effective and great service. Must visit.

We wanted to spend some quality time with our close friend family on Saturday afternoon for lunch in Fremont so thought of a restaurant which we have not yet visited, has covered outdoor seating space , good food , kid friendly & not too far.... so after doing a lot of search we came across this restaurant glad we got the chance of trying it out.

This restaurant food is from Southern Indian specifically from Andhra which is catered more towards spicy cuisine.... So please let them know of ur spice tolerance level mild/medium they might consider it.... For us most of us have excellent spice tolerance so we enjoyed it....

First thing first , I would like to give a huge shoutout to Karan who took care of us exceptionally ... he is an excellent bar tender!!!!! He listened to our preference & tailor made our drinks exactly as per our likings we all enjoyed our cocktails & mock tails. We loved the Old fashioned so much that we couldn't resist giving multiple orders of that plus Karan made some more cocktails which are not there on the menu .....

We started with few appetizers- Fish fry, Goat roast, Shrimp Fry which was superb we didn't even know when it came & disappeared as we were enjoying cocktails & chatting ... so by popular demand we reordered the appetizers again which we enjoyed even more the second time.... I can't believe how tender the goat pieces were & the spice in which it was cooked was very addictive... I am drooling right now as I am writing this review....!!!! I will go back for that goat(mutton) in a heartbeat!!!! So sorry I couldn't take any food pics this time since I was busy catching up with friends but will surely post some pics next time which will be soon I bet....

We also ordered Punugulu ( bite size pakoras) from the veg appetizer, we wanted the kids & everyone to enjoy the non spicy appetizer. The deep fried batter is made of soaked raw rice, lentils along with other spices & served with peanut chutney. This is so addictive I can finish the whole dish by myself!!!!

For entree we ordered the Andhra Fish curry, Country Chicken Curry & Chicken Tikka Masala which was good too.... Only thing is we wanted the fish curry to be more spicy & tangy this is how this specific dish is suppose to be & chicken curry too was toned down in spice... would like to have more heat to the dish ( more spicy) .

Service was very attentive, we loved the drinks & appetizers will definitely come back for that !!! Since the outdoor seating area was empty during lunch we really enjoyed it . We are planning to come again in the evening!!! Overall we loved the whole experience.

I visited Off the Record and thought it was a good restaurant. It had a nice atmosphere, and the service was good. But most importantly, the food was delicious. I would definitely go back. They even gave us free rice when we ordered an item for takeout.

Tasty Indian cuisine.. Nattu koodi pulusu was very tasty .. all dishes were so good and delicious . We had kajaa sweet and badusha , they were yummy . Quantity and quality both are good

Off the Record offers a cozy #atmosphere, perfect for hanging out with friends. While it may not be your typical family #restaurant, it's an excellent spot for a night out with pals. The diverse selection of alcohols and #Indiansnacks and starters ensures there's something for everyone. The cool #ambiance of the outdoor seating area adds to the overall experience.

My husband and I entered tis place by evening 6:30 pm for Valentine's Day dinner and it was not crowded .. as tis was our first time gng to tis. We didn't know wat to order. A guy named Vasu gave us the menu. And we started with the cocktail.. it was Good. We ordered chicken Momo's which was served with mint chutney. Then we ordered Vijayawada chicken biryani, we loved it. Then Vasu told us to try their best dish which was lamb roast, so we ordered with garlic naan that made a delicious combo.

They have the crispiest gobi manchurian! Chilli cheese naan is a good try which tastes like paneer paratha, butter chicken is good! But the food took a lot of time to reach the table.

Great fried chicken, and mutton. Go there with a few friends and have a great time.

We loved the food. That was a revelation. The vegetarian selection was decent and the food tasted great!
We had some special beer which I am told is not available at any other place here!
The service was excellent. Got to meet the owner Keshav as well who took good care of us!
Loved the outdoor seating! I hope their gas lamps work next time around when we need it.

Great tasting food. Their malai kofta curry was the same as butter chicken's. The inside seating is more of a bar setup than a restaurant.

Great Indian food!
I am no expert, but I loved the Biryani (both chicken and veg.), butter chicken, and Naan here. Warning mild was still spicy for my pallet, so adjust accordingly!

Amazing food with wide spread varieties to order from, pure authentic Indian food. Efficient and well trained staff. Heart warming service.

Food and Drinks:
Great place to have varied ranges of spicy food and amazing drinks. Tried some authentic Indian food and Indian alcohol.

Space:
Has indoor and outdoor seating big enough to hold kids' b'day party.

Parking:
Well, it's a busy street you should be finding parking on streets should be easy.
Management:
Management goes to a far extent to satisfy customer requirements by making customized Drinks and food Items.

Finally had much fun and I would recommend this place to check out.

PS: please don't order spicy food if you can't handle south Indian spicy (as I told they have a varied range of spices)

We went here for dinner after finishing Mission peak hike. Awesome place. Yummy spicy Indian starters and good selection of drink choices.

Came here for the first time last wednesday, came back on saturday and coming back again on wednesday. It’s that good.
Really solid butter chicken. The butter chicken is so creamy; it tastes almost sweet. Pair it with garlic naan and you’re in for a treat.
